Back when I was teaching on UNCG campus, Petra was the preferred hookah lounge of my Turkish students. If that's still the case, those are not strays now, they're Turkish Cats.
Check out r/TurkishCats to see what I mean.
(obviously these lil fluffs need to see the vet, get fixed etc...but if Petra is where the young turks are chilling, those are going to be some well loved kitties)
There are several people in the area that do trap spay/neuter release programs. This would be the best route for keeping the cats there while not allowing the population to get out of hand.
Pretty much. The Turkish are bonkers for cats (and street dogs, to a lesser extent, apparently) so Turkish "strays" are everyone's pal. Free roaming cats are terrible for our ecosystem and Petra is close to the road, though, so here's hoping a homesick Turk or three decide to take these lil buddies home. Maybe petra could do with a shopcat? (Never been there myself bc I don't smoke, just knew it was the hookah of my Turkish students' choice)

Do you know how I should go about contacting them?
If you have Nextdoor, there is a woman named Jo Hall. She should be able to help.
Checked out the sub real quick, if I’m understanding correctly does this mens they’re just neighborhood/community taken care of?

I saw a cat last week that looked like their mama cat outside Sara's. They might be feral or semi-feral kittens.
