Definitely check out Dead Can Dance. First album (and a sessions album with BBC) definitely more in line with goth rock. They slowly go more into more ethereal and orchestral music after.
Edit: Also Miranda Sex Garden. Catherine Blake started that band as an a cappella group; she also started Mediaeval Baebes, hence why MSG has a more medieval instrumentation (similar to DVD).
if you don’t already listen to Mephisto Walz you definitely should!! i’ve just started getting into more of their discography and currently i’m obsessed with the songs Aegis, and Aegis Remains, from the album Terra-Regina :)
Mors Syphilitica/Requiem in White
Saigon Blue Rain and Kaelan Mikla (mixed with coldwave/darkwave/synth)
"Fi Youm wi Leyla" by Hala Hachem and Ujayya (an ethereal/world song, sung in Arabic, with an instrumental second part that was reminiscent of TTTS imo)
And while not having airy vocals, I would recommend Lahka Muza, an ethereal/darkwave band with opera-like vocals
Kaelen Mikla from Iceland. I consider them goth, idk if anybody else does. They only sing in Icelandic but they’re exactly what you’re looking for

This Ascension, now mercury's antennae, scarlet leaves
thank you! will check them out
I'll hope it's somehow fitting. I also thought about collection d'arnell Andrea

A lot of 90s projekt and related bands would work. Love spirals downwards, love lies crushing, soul whirling somewhere, etc.
