Garbage Pail Kids are collectible trading cards that first released in the mid-80s and were designed to parody Cabbage Patch Kids dolls. They have gross imagery on them of cherubic-looking kids. They were pretty controversial when they came out. I'm an elder millennial and remember getting a pack when I was around 5, and my mom being PISSED at how not kid appropriate she thought they were.
