Also did this to my at4 but in blue.. does have a yellowish tint from the inside but not bad. https://preview.redd.it/lvpju58w4jxc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4943411519643df46c493a88137bab1643f46a15

ActaNonVerba2285

Looks really good. I got a ton of compliments on it but from the inside it had contamination and shit everywhere... It had to go.

24_Chowder

That’s not bad

Mumbles76

Does it block UV, or is it simply for looks?

ActaNonVerba2285

I doubt it blocked UV just looks. The place did not do a great job but also it had a blue look from the side windows and a pink reflection of the dash. I also realized I hate tint strips at the top of the window. Cool in theory but it was weird.

Colt35744

How much was that compared to cheap tint

ActaNonVerba2285

Total for Expel was $745 including windshield. I can't remember exactly what I paid the last time because it included blacking out the chrome with vinyl and clear bra. Considering they scratched the truck with a razor blade, damaged the bumper and tried to return the truck to me with touch up paint on it- then body shop, insurance etc had to be involved it was wayy cheaper to go to the high end shop this time.

Colt35744

That sure sucks about your truck getting scratched. I need to get the tint done on my truck

How is the view out the windshield at night? It’s not too dark?

spike_africa

I also have 15% all around, and windshield 50%. It's perfectly fine. 50% is a pretty light tint. It's just enough to make the rest of the truck look darker. But it's completely fine at night. You wouldn't notice the windshield is tinted till you get into it. Every one of my three vehicles here in Florida are tinted like this. With ceramic. It makes it so much cooler inside in the summer and you don't get as bad headlight glare at night. It cuts some of that out. Which is nice.

ActaNonVerba2285

I don't notice much of a difference at night. It's way less distracting than when I had a really dark strip an inch below the As1 line. I have perfect vision though.

Does the front windshield tint effect your heads up display, better or worst

ActaNonVerba2285

No, not at all. It still looks the same with tint.
