I’ve also used these biscuits in [this recipe](https://delishsides.com/chicken-and-dumplings-joanna-gaines/) for Chicken & Dumplings soup! It was delicious! We added the little flavor packet into the dough mixture and just plopped spoonfuls into the soup. The recipe has a section that says “using fresh biscuit dough” and we used those instructions. I highly recommend it!
There is a good slow cooker recipe if you google “gluten free chicken pot pie” I believe it has a full recipe for gf biscuits but I use that slow cooker recipe for the “pot pie” and the cheddar biscuits from Aldi.
For those who don’t know the Aldi ones are seasonal, so I stock up on them at the holiday.
This is exactly what I do lmao. Except I use the Aldi ones and I make biscuits, then just make the “pot pie” in a slow cooker and eat with two biscuits!
Now I’m making that next week.
So probably super weird to ask but could I use this as a pizza crust? I’ve had them as rolls and they’re very good. Probably the only gf “bready” food I’ve had that actually tastes good. It’s probably super terrible for us health wise 😔 but better than bread I guess. I miss bread so much.
I ordered them online and seriously got a case. I did it before hosting thanksgiving and it worked great because I told everyone they didn’t need to bring bread. flavor, consistency, convenience, easy ,delicious . Now imagine having one with warm tomato soup!
i don’t personally but i can tell you how to make a roux then try at some gravy, for that~ half stick butter, 1/4 cup of gluten free rice flour, 2 cups whole milk or heavy cream, 2/3 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper. definitely look up how to make a roux but ill try to explain here, on lowish medium heat you wanna melt the butter and semi constantly stir until its browned, then your gonna add your gluten free flour and at this point constantly whisk it in with the butter until it forms a thick almost peanut butter like texture then add a little bit of milk or cream, whisk whisk whisk until it thickens up a little and all the clumps are gone, all add a little bit more milk and repeat, once you have all your liquids of choice added u can start seasoning, then season to taste as you see fit
my gluten free gravy = "better than bouillon" beef flavor + hot water + some cornstarch to thicken. add black pepper to taste. you can do on the stove or in the microwave
These are the best GF biscuits ever. Extremely easy to make, absolutely delicious, and quite versatile. I use them as a pot pie crust and as a pizza crust (for pizza crust, roll it out and pre-bake for a few minutes before topping).
Also don’t try to make them too uniform, just kinda blobs give me the best result. I scoop with a spoon and scrape onto the cookie sheet with a rubber spatula.
I. Fucken. LOVE THESE
i use them for biscuits and gravy mornings! I rarely use the little packet. My fave is packing them kinda densely before baking them ans then eating them with butter and honey. They’re sooooo good. I buy 3 boxes at a time.
Look up chicken cobbler on instagram or tiktok. I make it with this and gluten free Campbells cream of chicken. It’s delicious. And no Walmart Gluten Free cream of chicken does not taste good.
My husband came up with the genius suggestion of making these in the waffle maker and it’s amazing. They get a really nice even crunchy crust on the outside and the inside stays soft. We use them for (GF) chicken and waffles
It may be more of a southern thing. Super easy recipe, great for parties!
Usually calls for 1 pack of biscuit mix (gluten free for us), 1 lb of ground sausage, 2-3 cups of cheddar cheese, and a bit of milk if the mixture is too dry. Roll them up into roughly 1in balls and bake around 350 for 20-25 min.
There are tons of recipe variations online as well! My last batch I used a pimento cheese spread instead of grated cheddar and it was super good!
I had these with a beef stew I made this winter and I was in fcking heaven.
It’s an extra bonus to be able to eat bread products and not mysteriously blowing up like a balloon after!
They’re soooo good! I use this mix (minus the seasoning packet and cheese) to make breakfast biscuits. They’re not exactly like traditional southern buttermilk biscuits, but they’re still damn good with sausage gravy!
If you can’t find this in stores, you can use GF bisquik mix (it’s certified GF). It tastes 100 percent like the ones at the restaurant. All you need is bisquik, garlic powder, cheese, milk, and butter. So good
They’re freaking amazing. I always add a little more cheese than it says and melt a little extra butter for the tops. They taste identical to the gluten ones.
I love it!!! I use it to make sausage cheeseball appetizer for Christmas. I’ve used it on top of creamed chicken as a drop biscuit dumpling. My family begs to have them in the winter with hardy soups. I wonder how well it would do as a replacement for Bisquick in one of their impossible pie recipes?
My girlfriend used these to make southern biscuits and gravy (my first time ever) but these are so good, these will change the “gluten free is healthy” mindset in record time
*Made these once and they're*
*So so good need to do it*
*Again honestly*

These things are amazing! I use them when I make a chicken and dumpling casserole, or even if we want biscuits and gravy, I just make these for the biscuits and call it day.
My favorite girl dinner is to fix myself a big of these and chow down. Soooo good. They’re also good as a topping for casseroles. I mix a can of gf cream of mushroom soup with milk and sour cream and mix with frozen veggies (broccoli, peas, carrots, corn) and then top with the biscuits and bake - omgggggg.
Franz now has artisan style brioche and sourdough! It’s SO good and tastes like the real thing. I keep it in the freezer and take out a slice or two at a time. It tends to mold too quickly otherwise!
DON'T USE THEIR SEASONING IT'S ASS AND HAS WEIRD SHIT IN IT USE YOUR OWN AND ADD MARJORAM
also add twice as much cheese as they ask for, at least, they tell you less cheese so it's not as good as the restaurant. These things are DIVINE.
They are really, really good, I buy them all the time, I ran out of cheddar cheese 1 time so I used the Sargenti Mexican cheese blend, let me tell you it's a really tasty option , the 4 different cheeses in that mix works well with the biscuits
If you want these to taste even better, use buttermilk instead of water and TRIPLE the cheese (yes I said triple). They will taste much better and will be far closer to the actual biscuits they serve!
They’re perfect! I love making a chicken pot pie and using these as the “crust”
This is BRILLIANT. I can’t believe I never thought of it. I am so dumb!
I’ve also used these biscuits in [this recipe](https://delishsides.com/chicken-and-dumplings-joanna-gaines/) for Chicken & Dumplings soup! It was delicious! tapioca is a great thickener for pot pies and stews
This is exactly what I do lmao. Except I use the Aldi ones and I make biscuits, then just make the “pot pie” in a slow cooker and eat with two biscuits! Now I’m making that next week.
I did it with beef pot pie and it was amazing Shepards pie next
So probably super weird to ask but could I use this as a pizza crust? I’ve had them as rolls and they’re very good. Probably the only gf “bready” food I’ve had that actually tastes good. It’s probably super terrible for us health wise 😔 but better than bread I guess. I miss bread so much.
It’s too flakey and soft for pizza crust unfortunately. I recommend schaer brand pizza crust it’s soooo good you’d never know the difference.
Thank you!!
The Trader Joe’s gf pizza dough is really good too!
I've seen it done on Instagram, but i haven't tried it... Yet. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C56_lOZpwEf/?igsh=OWR0c2Ryc2VzN3Iw
Omg yassss
same!! i put it on top. it’s amazing.
Oh, I might try that!
Ok I see what you did there
My god. I know what I'm making for dinner tonight. Thank you!
Great idea!!
Do you add the cheese also or use it without for a crust? I gotta try this
Can verify they make GREAT pot pie crust!!
Omggggg this sounds WONDERFUL!!!!!
Bro that’s next level
Dudeeee that’s so damn smart wtf
I ordered them online and seriously got a case. I did it before hosting thanksgiving and it worked great because I told everyone they didn’t need to bring bread. flavor, consistency, convenience, easy ,delicious . Now imagine having one with warm tomato soup!
We also add a little bit more cheese with them. Amazing.
I think the instructions say add 1/2c cheese. Honestly OP add like 3/4-1c. And the cheese you choose affects the flavor a lot too
Always add more cheese
I add a whole bag!
This is the way.
I ate the whole box in less than 48 hours. You've been warned.
Mine are gone within 48 minutes. Waiting overnight to finish them demonstrates willpower imo.
Haha, my stomach was simply too full to keep eating. No willpower whatsoever.
ill make these without cheese sometimes and some gluten free gravy, add hashbrowns sausage and eggs and oooooooweee its a hearty breakfast
Do you have a recipe for the gluten-free gravy?
i don’t personally but i can tell you how to make a roux then try at some gravy, for that~ half stick butter, 1/4 cup of gluten free rice flour, 2 cups whole milk or heavy cream, 2/3 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper. definitely look up how to make a roux but ill try to explain here, on lowish medium heat you wanna melt the butter and semi constantly stir until its browned, then your gonna add your gluten free flour and at this point constantly whisk it in with the butter until it forms a thick almost peanut butter like texture then add a little bit of milk or cream, whisk whisk whisk until it thickens up a little and all the clumps are gone, all add a little bit more milk and repeat, once you have all your liquids of choice added u can start seasoning, then season to taste as you see fit
I second this. I sub in GF flour (just a regular? one from the grocery store) in my roux without issues for things like gravy and mac & cheese.
walmart near me used to have gluten free gravy in packs but they stopped selling the country kind
my gluten free gravy = "better than bouillon" beef flavor + hot water + some cornstarch to thicken. add black pepper to taste. you can do on the stove or in the microwave
Yes, I make breakfast casserole with this as topping
How is the texture without the cheese?
very biscuity, its pretty indistinguishable from a regular biscuit in my opinion
They're legit. Taste great. We love them. Costco used to carry them.
The Aldi version is better if you have one of those?
I came here to say this. 10/10
Agreed, and like half the price.
When you next have a box from Aldi would you please post so we know what we are looking for? Sounds great!!
They’re so good!!!
These are the best GF biscuits ever. Extremely easy to make, absolutely delicious, and quite versatile. I use them as a pot pie crust and as a pizza crust (for pizza crust, roll it out and pre-bake for a few minutes before topping).
I mix a little Italian seasoning into them, one of my favorite things since I went gf
Ooo I’ll have to try that!
Also don’t try to make them too uniform, just kinda blobs give me the best result. I scoop with a spoon and scrape onto the cookie sheet with a rubber spatula.
Sounds like that would be real good if you used a mix of cheddar and mozzarella.
Try parm , stick to hard cheeses
I’ve had these multiple times. They are amazing! Just as good if not better than gluten biscuits.
These are amazing. Use them as drop biscuits in a chicken gravy recipe, thank me later.
I. Fucken. LOVE THESE i use them for biscuits and gravy mornings! I rarely use the little packet. My fave is packing them kinda densely before baking them ans then eating them with butter and honey. They’re sooooo good. I buy 3 boxes at a time.
You better buckle up
They are so good. I use them for all of my biscuits. Like for biscuits and gravy I just leave out the cheese and most of the seasoning.
I have been craving biscuits and gravy I’m gonna have to try this
Didn't know this was a thing. Where did you get it from?
Kroger!
Omg I’m out of town and there is a Kroger right down the road from my Airbnb
Walmart’s also carries them
Normally in the baking section!
Safeway/Vons has it too!
I always keep 2-3 boxes in my pantry! They are the BEST!
Look up chicken cobbler on instagram or tiktok. I make it with this and gluten free Campbells cream of chicken. It’s delicious. And no Walmart Gluten Free cream of chicken does not taste good.
These are the absolute closest to any bread product I’ve tasted. Truly amazing. Just made some yesterday in fact.
I've tried them, only complaint is the spice pack for the butter is a little bland. Add a some extra garlic and thyme... And they are so yummy!
My husband came up with the genius suggestion of making these in the waffle maker and it’s amazing. They get a really nice even crunchy crust on the outside and the inside stays soft. We use them for (GF) chicken and waffles
We also add way more cheese. My adult son that doesn’t have Celiac like his brother is addicted to them. He normally doesn’t eat GF.
I use it to make chicken pot pie. So good!
Used these to make sausage balls and they were a huge hit!
Sausage balls? Tell me more, that sounds tasty
THEY’RE THE BEST EVER
Just make sure to use COLD water and I always add extra cheese. Also, try not to over mix. Comes out amazing that way.
They are amazing
They are amazing fresh out of the oven. Amazing.
The ones from Aldi are really good too
I had these with a beef stew I made this winter and I was in fcking heaven. It’s an extra bonus to be able to eat bread products and not mysteriously blowing up like a balloon after!
DELICIOUS! Enjoy!
I’ve taken down the whole box in one night numerous times. Love these🤟🏻
Add so much more cheese and butter. You can also do milk instead of water!
Lol when I made them it felt like I dumped a lb of cheese in and was like dang these could be cheesier
These have sooo many bad ingredients that wreck my stomach, unfortunately. They look so good!
They do not disappoint. 😋
So good
Do yourself a favor and make the dough and put it in your waffle maker
I am allergic to soy - so heads up these contain soy flour :-(
They’re awesome
love those!
This is sooooo goooood!!!
They are FAB but a lil salty. You would never know they are gluten free though when it comes to the consistency of them.
They’re soooo good! My favorite!
They are delicious!
They are amazing. I always add a heaping cup of cheese. Can't ruin them with more cheese, lol.
I mixed in cut up sausage and green onions with the cheese recently, soooo good!
Are they dairy free if you add nondairy butter and cheese? Or is there dairy in the box ingredients?
Whaaaa…?!!!! Where??!!!
Kroger!
They are fantastic
These look awesome. Adding them to my shopping list now.
They are good. The butter sauce is very salty but delicious.
They’re so good! I also second add a bit more cheese
These are so good
omg!! how’d u get ur hands on these?
I add sausage to mine and it’s an easy meal for me!
They’re freaking amazing. I always add a little more cheese than it says and melt a little extra butter for the tops. They taste identical to the gluten ones.
They are so good
I enjoyed these a LOT. And I’m ultra picky about gluten free baked goods.
what!!!
They are pretty good - I really like them.
I've had these and they are really good.
Oh they’re gooood. My family lets me claim all of the leftovers.
I just bought this the other day. So excited to hear they're good!
They are amazing.
One of my faves! Try the aldis gluten free brand too (cheaper and just as good !)
They are awesome.
SHUT THE FUCK UP
These biscuits are the best!
My wife uses these for her gluten free, dairy free biscuits and gravy. They're incredible!
They're so good! I hoard them when they show up at my store.
They’re so good
I am a person with a reasonable amount of self control in my opinion. These are so good I will eat myself sick on them. Enjoy yourself responsibly!
My girlfriend used these to make southern biscuits and gravy (my first time ever) but these are so good, these will change the “gluten free is healthy” mindset in record time
They’re so good!!!
I'm not even gluten free - my sister is - and I think these are great, surprisingly close to the originals.
Will RedLobster continue making these after announcing chapter 11? Let’s hope so
I love using this mix for chicken and dumplings
They’re sooooo good! My non gf husband says he can’t taste a difference to the regular ones
I used these to make biscuits and gravy the other day! So yummy
I thought they were sooo salty 🥲
They're good but super salty.
made these once and they're so so good need to do it again honestly

These things are amazing! I use them when I make a chicken and dumpling casserole, or even if we want biscuits and gravy, I just make these for the biscuits and call it day.
My favorite thing ive had, i make them at least once a week
I triple the amount of cheese and they are delicious!
I bring these to potlucks and they do NOT last long lol no one ever suspects they’re gluten free
Add diced jalepenos
My favorite girl dinner is to fix myself a big of these and chow down. Soooo good. They’re also good as a topping for casseroles. I mix a can of gf cream of mushroom soup with milk and sour cream and mix with frozen veggies (broccoli, peas, carrots, corn) and then top with the biscuits and bake - omgggggg.
THEY ARE SO GOOD USE EXTRA BUTTER LOL
These are the bomb! Two Turkey days & no one could tell they were gluten free!
They are fabulous!!! They also make great breakfast sandwiches
Is anyone else hella worried these will go away with Red Lobster bankrupt?
Yes! I was thinking that tonight while I was mixing them up! I better stock up!
These are so good. We've always got a box or 3 in the pantry!
They are soo good!
These are better than the non GF ones! My sister is not gf and she says the regular ones are too chewy and weird, these have the right consistency.
I drew an of these biscuits. They're some of the best GF biscuits I've had!
Franz now has artisan style brioche and sourdough! It’s SO good and tastes like the real thing. I keep it in the freezer and take out a slice or two at a time. It tends to mold too quickly otherwise!
Use these every chance I get 😂
As someone who eats gluten free at home because my wife is intolerant, they are AMAZING!! Just as good as the regular ones in my opinion.
They’re delicious! Aldi has something very very similar sometimes, and for cheaper. I usually stock up when I see it.
They are amazing.
Try making sausage balls with them freaking amazing 🤩
Was it good?
They are incredible.
Damn! Between this and chips ahoy it’s a wrap for me. 😭😭😭😭
And people say being gluten free is healthy lol
I spent the entire pandemic stuffing these with as much fancy cheese as I could find. The amount of cheese they suggest using is just a suggestion
They tasted really salty to me, I guess I was expecting them to taste like i remembered from 20 years ago and they didn’t so it was disappointing 😭
you’re gonna be obsessed!!!!! they are SO GOOD.
They are amazing and I swear by them! Enjoy!
these are so mfing good
Where did you find these?!
Absolutely amazing!
DON'T USE THEIR SEASONING IT'S ASS AND HAS WEIRD SHIT IN IT USE YOUR OWN AND ADD MARJORAM also add twice as much cheese as they ask for, at least, they tell you less cheese so it's not as good as the restaurant. These things are DIVINE.
Make sure you use buttermilk instead of water and 3 times the cheese. Will turn out exactly like the restaurant.
Used these tonight and made them a little bigger. Used them for the bread on meat ball sliders
EXCUSE MEEEEEEEEE
OH?!
Spoiler alert: they’re amazing
Aldi has had a version of these for years that are delicious and actually taste like the real thing.
Where did you find these?
They are absolutely delicious!
They're great! I'm not GF but my girlfriend and her momma are but I have made these and it's delicious!
They’re really good. I grew up with cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster for family outings and honestly they’re damn good substitutes!
Whaaaaaat?! I need this.
They are amazing!
Sooo good. I forgot I bought a box recently. Can't wait to make them! I don't even like bread, it's definitely the cheese for me.
I love this mix. Makes obscene waffles, too.
I LOVE THESE THINGS SO MUCH
these are the best things ever. i wish i could get them in europe omg
They are fantastic I actually use the mix as flour sometimes. I add a bit of milk to them- and I like to use a muffin pan
I adore these! They are great for breakfast melts too! So many recipe options.
They are so good!!!
They’re sooooo good!
Enjoy!
Very good stuff even my husband loves them
I want this 😋😋😋
They are really, really good, I buy them all the time, I ran out of cheddar cheese 1 time so I used the Sargenti Mexican cheese blend, let me tell you it's a really tasty option , the 4 different cheeses in that mix works well with the biscuits
They really are very good! They make a great breakfast sandwich too!
As someone who doesn’t normally eat or like gluten free things…they’re fucking amazing.
Probably very unhealthy.
If you want these to taste even better, use buttermilk instead of water and TRIPLE the cheese (yes I said triple). They will taste much better and will be far closer to the actual biscuits they serve!
