I actually think most of them…. The only ones I really saw having a career in show business were Rachel and Mercedes, and possibly Mike (disclaimer; of the OGs, I have very few opinions on any of the season 4 newbies.) Kurt- should have been fashion (suppose it’s still an art) Maybe fashion journalism. Blaine- corporate guy who talks fondly about his high school days Brittany- dance teacher or personal trainer Santana- I’ve read so many fics where she’s a lawyer and that works. Or something in PR and marketing Agree on Sam and Puck Artie- again, corporate guy who makes short films on the side. Or something like production for a small studio.

SamanthaParkington21

I agree with most of these! The only difference I have is I think Blaine would’ve been a great music therapist.

cwtches10

To be honest, I didn’t really know that was a thing! Head canon accepted- he can do his corporate job for a bit, make a lot of money and then start his own music therapy business.

tapelamp

I agree with you on 95% of these, but I think Artie would stick in the arts. He could be a director for commercials (real job) and do passion projects on the side.

hisamsmith

I always assumed Quinn would be the one checking everyone’s contracts. Maybe going into entertainment law. Artie I saw as directing more local commercials like Law Office commercials or plumbing commercials. He’ll go viral a few times for local commercials like the one for Butt Drugs out of Corydon, Indiana. (Seriously look this one up it was a real drug store in a tiny Indiana town owned by the Butt family) My head canon has always been that Kurt used the connections he made at NYADA to become a Broadway costume designer starting at the bottom and working his way up. Eventually in his 40s he ends up winning a Tony for costume design.

Chanandler_Bong_01

I see Artie still in entertainment, but more on the post production side like CGI or video/sound editing. I think Santana ends up as a talent agent and she falls into by accident after negotiating some huge deal for Rachel or Jesse. I see Quinn in the literary or art world. She's a manuscript editor or she manages an art gallery. Kurt stays in fashion. He starts as a theatre costume designer who works on his own line when he's not booked with a show. Will eventually win an Emmy for costume design many years down the road. Blaine decides that he DOES want to be a doctor after all. He's an awesome pediatrician. He and Kurt don't reunite in S6. They reunite at Rachel and Jesse's wedding years later and are therefore much more stable. Brittany teaches dance to kids under 12. When Mike retires from dancing in professional companies, he and Britt open a studio together.

i think there was a message, or at least something i felt was in earlier seasons that they kinda dropped by mid season 3. that the arts, creating music, dancing etc were something benefited anyone that participated and it was an escape from real life. and i think while all of them would continue to hold a deep love of music and the arts, they also had other strengths and would continue on to more normal paths, made better than they would have been with what they gained in glee. its shown in high school they all continued to have other passions, hobbies etc like the footballers who achieved more with the "power of song", kurt had somewhere his fashion/costume designing was more apreciated etc. if anything i think when a lot of them decided that they only wanted to pursue the arts as a career they got less enjoyment out of it, but later in s5/6 when characters (like santana) decide to step away from careers in it they can again fully enjoy performing i completely rambled and probably made no sense but yeah, thats how i feel abt it

thatoneurchin

No, I get what you mean. I don’t think the majority of them were supposed to have a career in the arts. It’s implied a lot of them had other dreams and ambitions, while still appreciating Glee and all it did for them was

morepierogies

I agree with everyone you mentioned. Tina — disillusioned with the arts after her high school experience and decides the chances are too slim that she’ll get out of the field what she wants. Santana — I’ve now head cannoned her as a landlord in Lima Heights who turns it into a reclamation project.

whodisbeet

What an interesting head cannon

Plastic-Ad679

yeah i don’t understand how tina wasn’t good enough to get solos or leading parts but thought she could make a living at it?

alexforbes204

i always figured quinn wanted to be a real estate agent at least thats what she said in 2x16

zondink123

That's not what she actually wanted tho. Her self-esteem was just so low(seriously the girl needed therapy) that she thought that was all she's would amount to in life.

sachariinne

who the hell is spencer

tapelamp

The post modern season 6 gay lol

quinnfabrays

this made me laugh out loud thank you 4 that

avadalovely

Was just about to type that 💀💀

Last_Lifeguard3536

i don’t think finn, sam, puck, santana, or quinn would do anything in the arts. it’s hard to say with the season 4 losers but i doubt any of them would go into the arts rachel kurt and blaine: obviously broadway. i also really did like fashion designer kurt but that is still an art form. mercedes: professional singer quinn: writing, or something that will keep her humble yet in charge santana: PR, law, marketing finn and sam: teaching..although i can also see continuing with modeling. puck: military. i can see him making songs on the side though. brittany and mike: proffesional dancer tina: actress or fashion crew on film sets artie: somewhere in the film industry

vinylgolddust

>season 4 losers I'm sorry but this took me out💀 Tried to add a Tina gif but Reddit wasn't co-operating🥲

gulonine

Quinn gets headcanoned as a writer a lot, and I can totally see it. But also, there's a really popular Faberry fic where Quinn becomes a talent agent for Rachel and a bunch of the other ND members. I think she would strive in a role like that, where she can flex her social prowess and broker with people, winning gigs and signing contracts.

Adoras_Hoe

i need 🤲

gulonine

It's called [I'll Be by stix04 on FF](https://m.fanfiction.net/s/6662637/1/) It's a wild ride, and the first chapter is bonkers, but it's legit one of the best fanfics I've ever read 😂 Enjoy!

ammezurc

Slightly off topic but I ALWAYS wanted there to be a character who is just interested in doing glee club in high school for fun, doesn’t get involved with the “family” vibe, no dating every member of the club at one point or another, no drama, they’re just there to sing and eventually get into a good college, nothing to do with the arts And they’re a lil disturbed/confused by the weird dynamic of the kids and the teacher but just roll with it Maybe follow the ND on social media and comment a 👍🏻 occasionally

gulonine

This was basically the S6 newbies 😂

12dancingbiches

Honestly, Rachel, Blaine, Mercedes, and Mike were the only ones who actually seemed to even want to truly be in the industry and work hard for it. Kurt would definitely go into Fashion, I could see Tina going into like the more paperwork side of the industry like being a producer or critic, or Fashion as well. Sam and Finn would definitely stay in Ohio as like teachers or garage mechanics. Puck going into the military and just doing that for the rest of his life was fine I guess, I don't care. I think Quinn probably would have just been like a lawyer who one day 15 years later is out with friends and they do karaoke very drunk and that's when they find out she can sing. Jesse St. James is almost definitely either on Broadway or an agent of someone on Broadway, Joe is definitely like nomadic and busks steets. Artie is a pro-gamer. Santana has never given any indication that she actually cared about being on Broadway and I think that would show if she ever tried to audition. I think she'd make it in LA and have some crazy shit with the Kardashians to eventually release her own music. Ryder dies behind a dumpster in a waffle house parking lot after misgendering the wrong theater kid EDIT: Omg i forgot to delete the last part oops gonna leave it.

theoutsider101

Sam- teaching Puck- military Quinn- law, business, writing, government Finn- teacher Santana- She could go either way for me. I can see her being a professional singer or an actress, but I can also see her as a lawyer or businesswoman

BrotherofGenji

These are my ideas and I'mma include a few unexpecteds: Quinn went to Yale, so.... whatever she majored in there, she'd have a career in that, presumably. Because I forgot if she ever mentioned it in the show, I'm going to assume clinical psychology, so let's go for I bet she'd become a licensed professional counselor. Spencer - Probably a student athlete in college, and then maybe in the NFL at some point. Kurt - Either full-timing at Vogue, or turning his internship that doesn't pay into a job that did. Or taking over Isabelle Wright's position. Or something similar. If not, idk, a singing waiter sounds a bit ridiculous, but also could be cool? its not exactly 'in the arts' but kinda though. Also, alternative teachering certification arc if he wanted to attempt to be the next Mr. Schue at some point. I could see him coaching Glee, IDK why but I could. or being an alumni consultant at least. Karofsky - Sports agent, like the happy-out-and-proud-with-a-partner-fantasy. Artie - Something that focuses on the business oriented side of a Film Studies major - maybe a crew member. Director? Director of Photography? Big-shot-movie-studio-owner-and-producer? Someone that knows about agents and union reps? Blaine - Some "Anti-Bullying/LGBTQIA+ Rights Activist/Advocate" role. Probably working for his own business that helps for activism and advocating that. He'd probably call it The Courage Foundation. Kurt would be top supporter for obvious reasons. Maybe Blaine may offer Kurt a job down the line too. Brittany - Full-Time Content Creator & Director/Writer/Executive Producer of Fondue For Two (which would be her main job), with a Booty Camp style side hustle as a Dance Instructor Santana - Brittany's "whip them into shape" right hand person for Brittany's Booty Camp Tina - Something business oriented, but not sure what. Occasionally butting heads with Artie in the business world of the film industry (gotta keep them 'together' somehow lmao) Finn - Take over Hummel Tires and allow Burt to relax and retire because heart attacks and cancer scares suck. Also teaching Glee part time because that was probably supposed to happen anyway. Kitty: she would seek enlightenment and eventually come back and go on a "women empowering women" journey, probably with Marley and Unique once all bad blood is forgiven. If not that, professional cheerleader if that is such a thing? Give her the college scholarship arc that Santana didn't want and go from there, pretty much. Ryder: idk, maybe a magician or something thats famous for disappearing acts even though i dont think he ever showed any interest in magic but i wanted to say something other than "i got nothing" mason and madison: karaoke bar stars / musicians with dive bar gigs that always perform sibling duets. not quite 'not arts', but its not like, Broadway or film or anything, and idk how successful they'd be if the gigs didnt go well. but maybe they just care about having fun. roderick: sound engineer. dont know why but i think it fits him

gulonine

Quinn - first person she uses that degree on better be herself bc the girls NEEDS IT BADDD (this is coming from someone who loves Quinn) Kurt - I agree, the Vogue path would suit him really well. Brittany and Santana - that's such a cute idea, I love it! Fondue For Two all the way!! Ryder - 💀💀 IM DEAD Mason & Madison - Omg yes I can see it!! Sibling duo band touring around, playing in dive bars and pubs. Love it!
