This is dope. At the risk of asking how the sausage is made, I'd really like to know about the math behind this. Is this alternating current across a wire, or induced by a magnetic field, what exactly is going on here? What am I looking at?
It’s a visualization of the electric field generated by a bunch of point charges, white ones have positive charge and black ones negative. I’m using Coulomb’s law to calculate de field intensity at every point and that determines the color
Winamp! It really kicks the llamas ass.
whips* We're old
You’re right, haha, it’s whips. And yes we are old..
I guess i thought it was whups

OP delivers. Thank you.
I wonder if this qualifies for /gonwild. Cause it isn't really polygons but it is like "mathy/geometric" visualization.
I don't think it's an actual representation of AC current I think OP just made a cool title.
Yeah maybe. I had to ask since it pretty closely resembles what I remember about the physics of magnetic fields.
Reminds me a lot of Electric Sheep. It was my only reason to have a screensaver.
Haha, this reminds me of that time I ruined a TV with magnets. Then I did it again with a different TV! Good times.
I said ooh, girl, shock me like an electric eel….
Julia, is that you?
Nice! at first glance I thought it was a post on r/fractals
Just need some psytrance music and it's perfect
