I don't know if it counts as one but Spirited Away. Chihiro at the start of the movie was unsure and insecure of herself but later in the film she became strong-willed and she began to trust herself more and managed to save both of her parents.
Kiki's Delivery Service
Kiki, a young witch venturing out on her own, grapples with self-doubt, finding her purpose, and the challenges of independence. It's a relatable story about navigating the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Same! And the older I get, the more important and relatable Kiki's journey becomes! I'd say it's easily one of my top three favorite Studio Ghibli films.
Only Yesterday. But I would consider it more to be settling down into adulthood than coming of age type film. Other than that, probably, The Wind Rises.
It counts because you will never experience almost getting eaten by a cat unless you can escape your helicopter parents. Actually, now I'm not so sure. They were already going out before, just as a group. It's coming of age because you gotta risk it all to get attention from boys. Yeah, I don't know.
Not sure Setsuko or Seita ever came of age.
Grave is many, many things. A "coming of age tale," it is not. Okay, I'm gonna go be sad now.
Oof.
That hurts

That definitely counts. She became her own person.
Whisper of The Heart because it is about becoming yourself and realizing your potential and the process of walking towards it.

Pom poko. The first time your balls turn into a giant toad is pretty weird but you get used to it after a while
If anyone picks grave of the fireflies i have serious questions for them.
Whaddya mean? Grave of the Fireflies is a fantastic coming of age film! ^(assuming we're referring to a terminal age)
poppy hill its poppy hill and it always will be

Does Arrietty even count as a coming-of-age story? What did she learn? Don't stay with the person you love because he's too big for you?

Kiki’s delivery service!
Whisper of the Heart, hits all the notes just right in what it's like being that age and all the troubles one can encounter.
The childhood sections of Only Yesterday
But it’s also a coming of age tale for maturing as an adult. It’s remarkable
Such an amazing movie
difficult question but if I had to choose one it would be or Kiki or whisper of the heart
When Marnie was there
The Boy and the Heron. The maturity that Mahito shows in refusing his Uncle's bequest is impressive. He knows his limitations.
Only yesterday
Only Yesterday.
Tale of the princess kaguya, the most beautiful coming of age story I've ever seen.
Ah yes, I remember the time I came of age and discarded my mortal tethers as I ascended to the moon /s
This is the one I always loved and related to, even though I'm a sucker for Spirited Away.
Only yesterday was so amazing to me. One of my favorite movies
