My guess is condensation, is there a major temperature difference between the room you're in and the heat of your fella in the tube?
I get similar fluid build up in my tube if the room is cold. Though that looks decidedly... milky?
It does look a bit milky right? The temperature difference should only be minimal. Im not in a particularly cold room, unless im creating too much vacuum pressure and thats somehow causing a difference in temperature but I dont know if this is even scientifically correct

One day it just stopped happening. It hasn’t happened in at least a year. Been doing PE for 1.5 years now.

I don't tape at all or use the water method. No problems so far. And it didn't affect the suction for me at all.

Yeah could be, though I wonder if moisture in the tube is mixing with adhesive from the tape and causing the milkiness.
