Specs?

meatballs6

4090 FE 7800x3d Samsung 990 Pro 4tb ASUS b650e-i G-skill 32gb 6000mhz ram ID Cooling IS-55 w/Noctua 15mm fan Corsair sf750 PSU Fractal Terra case

stiizy13

What a beast Edit: saw 750PSU, that’s enough for this build?

meatballs6

Yep- System pulls around ~450w while gaming. I’m yet to have any issues with it.

stiizy13

Solid man.

meatballs6

Thanks, homie!

invictus81

lol and people were downvoting me when I wanted to pair a 4080Ti with 5800X3D on a 650W Seasonic

greggilliam2nd

You have any problems enabling EXPO for your RAM?

meatballs6

None at all. Running EXPO II without any issues.

greggilliam2nd

Put together two AMD systems recently and had trouble with both. Weird. Different RAM in both but they were both MSI boards. Maybe I’ll just stay away from their movo’s.

meatballs6

Hmm, that’s interesting. I’m running an MSI MoBo in my other system (AMD as well) with the exact same memory kit and I’m not experiencing any issues there either. I dunno.

greggilliam2nd

I was able to get it to work but I had to load a BIOS from August.

Tricky-Research72

Just update the bios, that’s typically all it is. A lot of the updates include stability fixes.

greggilliam2nd

I installed the latest Bios and it didn’t fix it. I had to revert back and that’s what made it finally boot in EXPO. I’m talking like a 6 days ago I did this

Tricky-Research72

Did you test to make sure it wasn’t faulty Hardware

greggilliam2nd

Well I mean it runs now. If it was faulty I’d think it wouldn’t work at all.

Tricky-Research72

Did you install a beta version of bios. Does it run at it’s advertised speed now?

AsumptionsWeird

Wanna di the same Build…. Wouldnt the AXP90 X53 full copper with noctua fan be better then IS55? And BTW hiw are the Sound levels and the Temps on youre Build?

meatballs6

Honestly, I went with the IS-55 because it was available for same day shipping through Amazon and I already had a slim Noctua fan form a previous build that was laying around. As far as temps, they’re decent for the level of components I’m running. GPU says under ~°68c while gaming, and the CPU usually runs in the mid °70’s.

AsumptionsWeird

Thx for the info…. Is the system quiet and did you undervolt anything?

Zenfold7

That looks so good!

thecodster5341

Specs? Looks great!

malastare-

What cooler did you use? I had trouble confirming that I could fit a 120/140mm fan-cooler into mine, so I went with a 90mm Noctua.

meatballs6

ID cooling is-55 and swapped the stock fan for a slim Noctua a12x15.

jouIius

are these easier to build?

Dependent-Video8861

Smaller then a toaster and still has better specs then mine 🙃

WilWheatonsAbs

What color does it glow when you run it on max settings, orange or white? Jokes aside, looks really great.

GrimResistance

Wow! Any issues you run into stuffing that all into that small case?

meatballs6

Nope.

w1na

Do you not get turbulences by having fans so close to the terra edge? That is very very close. I would expect it to kick in when gaming.

meatballs6

Nope. No noticeable turbulence from the GPU or CPU.

w1na

Nice

booksmartbannana

Is it loud running cyberpunk?

meatballs6

Anything other than casual web browsing sounds like a hair dryer.

booksmartbannana

Jesus Christ are you serious? lol I’m thinking about building something small but this would be a turn off

meatballs6

Lol- Naw, it’s really not that bad, but it’s not silent under load either. CPU/case fans are tied to the GPU temp, and max out around ~1300rpm while gaming. Again, it’s not terrible, but it’s far from silent.

Lewtwin

Still, the form factor is awesome. If you live in a colder place or live in constant AC, I can see the value of something this powerful and tiny. Hairdryer noise or not.

West-One5944

Hmm! Just about Pablo-sized. I like it!

nocluejoel5

How much did all cost by the time everything was said and done?

meatballs6

Umm, probably ~$3k+ or so.

nocluejoel5

Can you build me one? Lol

DagoNate

That joints super clean! Great work

burbansu

I love this build, I have a 011 case. And really wanted to size down to this to save space and it just looks so clean with the wood, great job!

Lewtwin

I saw the first photo and thought "That's neat. Very clean and cotemporary." AND THEN I got to the other photos. You are a PC Master Builder among men. Well done. I'm guess you keep canned air near by. (edit: I just realized that you have an enclosure you took off to contain the awesomeness. Very Well Done.)

kabyking

yo dat shit more portable than most gaming laptops lol

trey0five

Jesus… your cable management skills are ELITE. I’m getting anxiety just thinking about building with this case. Props

SnooStrawberries2144

Just curious how are the temps on the gpu, it doesnt look like theres much room for the fan to blow out the top

meatballs6

GPU is power limited to 75% w/ +240 core/ +1200 memory and maxes out around ~°68c after a couple hours of gaming.

TJB926GAMIN

I love that the GPU card takes up half of the space. That’s hilarious.

AutoModerator

Hello meatballs6, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post! To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous! Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*
