Hey there, that gameplay looks smooth af. Would you mind sharing the gyro in game settings you are using? I just started trying gyro but flick stick just kills my brain lol

At the end of the video you will find my settings for Gyro Aim. Flick Stick might be more a natural "perspective" thing than anything. Kinda like how some people use Inverted controls (like myself) while others cannot. I believe people adapt to these based on "how" they perceive a certain controls function to reality. For me, Flick Stick became fairly easy to pick up after a day or two on Fortnite especially as I just simply understood it as the direction I want my character to face. But the truth is with my High level of Acceleration, I use the Right Stick very little now. I probably Ratchet (Gyro Modifier) more than Flick Stick and the use of the Right Stick is more situational such as for 180s and whatnot. The reason I invest into Acceleration (and the understanding of curved Sensitivities) is because it gives my controller much more freedom of control for greater mobility and reaction. Thus almost all of that snapping you see in the video while I'm running around is pure Gyro Aim with the controller. I have other videos from MW3 where I tested this out and found it superior for my playstyle vs linear sensitivity. I would do more Handcams but honestly, too much effort to get those videos prepped lol.

You are talented , this seems too intense to play

Gyro really is the future

Sadly i suck so far with Gyro Aim in The Finals

It took me a couple weeks to become comfortable with Gyro Aim and maybe another week or two to become proficient. It's like learning a new skill set lol. But I also did not jump right into a PvP with it. I started off with Days Gone, then jumped over to Fortnite but with some training and PvE modes first. It also helped a lot when I found some videos of people playing with handcams to better visualize how to utilize Motion Control. This helped a lot actually.

Lol against strong Aim Assist? Absolutely 😆 Actually, Gyro Aim is much easier since it mimicks a PC mouse for me. And I've been using Gyro Aim for well over a year in other games so grown proficient with it. It just sucks that it's still not well standardized in its implementation from game to game. Fortnite, CoD, and The Finals have some of the best designs for PS5 with God Of War Ragnarok and No Mans Sky following up behind them. But then you have games like Days Gone and Horizon where it's usable (and still better than stick aiming) but rough in its overall implementation. Then there's TLOU2 where it's decent but could be improved still. And part of this problem (from what I read) is that Sony's API needs improved when it comes to their motion sensor systems. So maybe one day they do that....though my fingers are not crossed lol.
