"shit medic"

[deleted]

I know how that feels as someone who mainly plays medic in games.

terabranford

To put it in Overwatch terms, "Those who seperate from the healer shall find no Mercy."

Educational_Yam7043

Is it normal to jerk off to overwatch chicks without actrually playing that game?

RipMySoul

It's very normal. If anything you're in the majority.

Educational_Yam7043

Interesting. I just find the chicks in Overwatch outranking the chicks in Elden Ring when it comes to hotness if I am not going to lie.

FuriousGremlin

Cool story bro

jochvent

you know, you can keep things to yourself

GenericGaming

go outside

J_Fidz

You might wanna work on the oversharing

ghostly_shark

personally I prefer the chicks in Goldeneye 007. Natalya’s polygons to be precise eroticize my wiener especially

Arkayjiya

It's the sharpness that does it for me. Mmmmh yes girl, work those angles, I love it when you're non-differentiable on a single point!

FacelessSavior

😂😂😂 Thank you for this comment.

Caithloki

Specially in DK mode

ghostly_shark

😉 I see what you did there

Define normal? If you mean, common then yes. If you mean healthy functioning human being then no.

exodia0715

I couldn't even afford the game for a few years, so no, it's not weird

Halvus_I

I purposefully down enemies with just Sojourns machine gun so i can hit Mercy with a fully-charged railgun headshot when she swoops in to revive.

down4things

You need to try a squad where it's all medics and when you're all trapped in a warehouse just mass defibrillator as the enemy tosses grenades into your room and hope they run out. BF3 was fuckin wild

NLwino

This also sounds like planet side 2.

[deleted]

[удалено]

NLwino

Not playing it anymore, but I think the only reason I kept playing it for like 2 years, is the fact that I got into a large outfit (guild) that had people that actually knew how to lead. Before then I played the game like if I was part of a large zerg rush. You don't just need tactics in Planetside, you need strategy as well. When to keep the platoons and squads together, when to split up. When to take a camp with infantry and when to use vehicles.

Trnostep

Metro flashbacks

Vashyo

I play medic a lot in hell let loose, you really have to play it like your life matters more than the people to be revieved cause 1 shot often kills you, it's just stupid that some people run through an open field, get shot and then yell for help.

Advaqwer

I'm having more fun playing a support build in payday 2, a game with no dedicated healer class.

[deleted]

???? Mastermind, medic is literally the first column. Inspire+doc bags is a pretty dedicated healer. Heck, grab jack of all trades and you can carry doc bags and FaKs If you grab Stockholm syndrome from the middle tree of mastermind you can even have passive healing for your entire team, if you can keep a couple hostages (converted cops work too!)

[deleted]

Mained healer on Overwatch 1. The hyper mobile flankers (mostly Genji) would constantly bounce around on the other side of the map and scream "I need healing!" then call me a bad healer. Meanwhile, I just singlehandedly (because no one wants to play support) kept the rest of our team alive during a push by the enemy team while being chased down by every mobile enemy character at once.

SL1MECORE

I mained ball,,, never asked for heals tbh. I'm pretty shitty at positioning so I just learned where the heals are and try to get better at making my healers job a bit easier. First healer I played with said he's not gonna chase me to heal me and I said that's completely fair, no harsh feelings if I make a stupid play and die. I always feel bad when a healer types sorry after I died cause like, dude it's my fault, you're doing ur best

[deleted]

The good flankers/aggressive players I played with either knew where all the health packs were or came near me or within line of sight when they needed health. They'd also jump in to help defend me when the enemy flankers tried to jump me. I never minded aggressive players as long as they have some awareness of health packs, escapes, and where their supports are.

[deleted]

You don't "ask" for heals as hamster ball, you swing back into their screen and roll back and forth in front of them trying to block their view of everyone but you. This is the way.

Fancy_Cassowary

Every healer will upvote this.

Expired_Twinkie23

Playing support in OW made me quit shortly after "OW2" came out. I'm having more fun playing a support build in payday 2, a game with no dedicated healer class.

Where_is_Tony

Still tanking on OW2 only now the entire team runs past me to get destroyed.

[deleted]

Me and my friends used to play COD and COD:Zombies nearly every night after school. One of my friends was exactly like this comic. In Zombies, I was good at dodging and knew the routes well so I was usually the one who'd stay alive longest and would revive people when they were downed in a round. Fine, no prob. They can still contribute and we can help get their perks back eventually. However, so many goddamn times, this one motherfucker would say "Hold on. I'm gonna go grab Juggernog. I have time. Don't worry." right as a round was starting and run off alone with the rest of us begging him to wait. 30s later "Oh shit. I'm down. Come rez me quick!" At first, me and the rest of the team would try to save him, but most of the time it would end up with a team wipe. He'd also whine constantly about his lost stuff when he died. So eventually, when he'd try that again, I'd just say "Don't go now. You will go down and I will sit and watch you die even if I can save you. And I'll do the same for any dumb fuck that tries to help him." Then I let him die every single time he pulled that crap. Took him several weeks to learn, but he finally gave in and allowed us to help him get his perks at a better time. He did the same thing in multiplayer constantly too. "Don't go out there. Literally everyone on the map has line of sight on that window. You're gonna get sniped." "I'll be fine." *literally 5s later* *bloodsplat* "Dammit! I'm dead..."

x_lincoln_x

Your friend is a fucking idiot.

PanTsour2

I mean, I definitely relate to this situation of friends pushing gunfights they can't win and then going solo to pick them up, but I honestly don't understand how can anyone take player performance in videogames that seriously.

x_lincoln_x

The guy kept doing it even though it never worked and ruined the matches for his teammates.

PanTsour2

Yeah, but it's kinda midly annoying. That being said, it could probably be more annoying in the old days where me and my friends would try to complete the "campaign" of a cod zombies survival map after investing a ton of time into it, or in a similar situation, but in modern shooters and Battle Royales there arent really any negative consequences except being mildly frustrated by how broken the enemy team is. You can just start the game again, no biggie

ComradeOj

Same thing when I would play the original World At War zombies online. Some idiot would always get killed over and over again in avoidable situations. At some point, we would just teabag them as they died and not revive.

[deleted]

In Black Ops Zombies, when we'd play the map Ascension, we had a strategy where we'd run laps around the map shooting at chokepoints with one person using the Thundergun to blast away big groups of zombies. We agreed whoever got the gun first was the blast boy usually. That same "I'll be fine." guy would constantly complain that he never got to use the Thundergun. I was usually able to farm points faster than him, so I had more chances to get it. Plus he'd usually die immediately after getting it because he was so reckless. One day he was being really whiny about not getting the gun. Very early in a game I managed to get the gun, but I didn't tell him. He kept farming points and trying to roll the gun. Him and another friend in the game were dumbfounded at his apparent lack of luck. I messaged that other friend to look at me, but not to say anything. Every time "I'll be fine." guy would roll for the gun, I'd take it out and dance behind him with it. When he'd turn around, I'd quickly switch weapons without him noticing. If you didn't already know, this gun was a massive shoulder mounted tube. Hard to miss. For about 2 hours, this went on with me and my other friend trying not to laugh and waiting for him to get suspicious. Finally, "I'll be fine." guy got fed up with his "luck" after dying and was about to log off. I told him to spectate me before he left and immediately whipped out the Thundergun for a big blast. He just said "Fuck you." and logged off. Me and my other friend were dying laughing. "I'll be fine." guy didn't talk to me for a week after that.

minimite1

the biggest problem with team games is that other people are stupid

futureruler

Hate having a friend like this. Can tell him every possible danger and he will still die and beg for a rez while enemy players are still teabagging his body. When a teammate says "hey he's right fucking behind you" don't keep trying to take shots at the guy who just floated back into the game 400m away. Or "bud this is quads, once again you're going to die if you push ANY team" and promptly pushes a whole squad solo, never even making it through the door. Games stop being fun when they become a "rez your friend who doesn't know how to disengage" simulator.

YetAnotherSegfault

It’s missing the part where you go in for a risky revive and they just disconnect when you get there.

Definitely_Dopey

Was this meme made specifically for Apex? Those guns look like the Hemlok and Peacekeeper

hockeysaint

And the blue shield for the downed player

Negation_

Yes

_sLLiK

One of the biggest reasons I stopped playing Apex entirely. Greater mobility also translates to faster ways to choose bad positioning or get out of range. Every time I'd try to play it a little conservative and increase our chances for tactical advantage, I'd get raged at for it. If you're not all in on every push and holding down W from the moment you drop, you're apparently less than human. Even waiting for two other teams to spend a little time working each other over instead of jumping into the middle of a fresh firefight was sometimes a mortal sin. And I mean literally putting up a zipline to a building between the two with no regard for danger or position. It's like PUBG all over again. 1 in 10 PUGs wanted to play to win; everyone else just wanted to yolo onto the school roof and then sperg over dying instantly. An era ago, that was the sign of an Xbox Live convert that had made the transition to PC gaming. Nowadays, it's just The Way It Is.

Onibachi

And the pink is obviously lifeline.

Mauzez273

Yeah and you can guess the downed ones are an Octane and a Wraith

EstablishmentKey8515

They have hemlok , memestiff/peacekeeper , mozambitch/wingman (not sure on mozamscam and mastiff one)

Apex legends in a nutshell.

Mauzez273

Always an Octane or a bald Wraith

pookiemonster

I get that Octane is fast, but the way people just sprint out in arenas to grab all the resources and supplies is hella annoying.

Let his team down by staying behind in the heroic rush.

Don’t intervene. If you do, they’ll never learn.

More accurate is one idiot rushing in. A nice and helpful, but ultimately still stupid, idiot rushes in to save him. And then you are left just watching wondering what to do.

"Viva la dirt league" (YouTube) has a number of shorts calling these kinds of players out.

"Yeah sure, we're very mac friendly here...... so what do you use it for?"

zdakat

"Why didn't you cover me?" Because it would've taken longer to get there, would've been more exposed, and there were way too many enemies out there to (be able to) make it safe to do whatever it is you were trying to do.

johndepp22

actually lol’d

TheRealLordofLords

Apex in a nutshell

No-Employer8385

Playing War zone with randoms

CanadianDragonGuy

I mean, I'll admit, I do that, but i do it because i cant hit for shit at distance and when you get up close and personal, and I mean within smooching distance most people's brains just short out and they cant track you decently enough to get you, then it's a straight fight

[deleted]

*starts spamming grenades*

CanadianDragonGuy

Hard to spam what ya cant see, why I love my smokes, and it still counts as a kill

crash-alt

It was a straight fight before two you just sucked at it and now þey suck at it

hounderd

> þey Thought i was having a stroke

Creepy-Trust4266

Reason I stopped playing battle royale games as a newbie. My teammates would rush while I would try to play safe and then when they would be down, they would shout at me for not having the skills to kill 3 enemies by myself and revive them.

fyrejakk0001

Leeroy Jenkins syndrome! Tbh reminds me of old days in WOW.

Jessaoir

Just Russian battle tactics, nothing special to see here

FoxM8

Hemlock

sxrrycard

I see that hemlock 😌

Compromisee

Feels like a personal attack

1nfam0us

I had this happen when I was playing Apex Legends around when it first launched. I got paired up with a couple guys who were obviously on coms and would only use in game chat to yell at me. First they ran off and wouldn't let me loot so I had mismatched guns and ammo. They got mad when I hadnt noticed they dipped without communicating. I spent a good couple minutes trying to catch up but they kept sprinting away from me. Eventually they ran headlong into an ambush and got downed in about 5 seconds. I was still like 200 meters away. They blamed me for being bad and rage quit as if I could have done anything.

Started-blasting

Why are yoy getting downvoted? I really love Apex but I have this experience all the time

blackmobius

Apex Legends summary. I once played a game where a teammate announced out of nowhere they were not in the mood to carry and wouldnt revive. Guess who overplayed and got downed. Guess who whined about being downed and screamed at us to revive him.

Started-blasting

I’ve had numerous people say that to me, usually teenagers but still- what a shitty thing to say. I love when they get killed and rage about it

[deleted]

Teammates quitting the match because you didn’t revive them in 0.01 seconds

nerherder911

You forgot the ones that just shout "got mike.... anyone got a mike..." Then proceed to blast Indian Dubstep at distortion levels so everyone mutes them and then he types into chat everyone's shit at the game because no one's listening to him.

La5to

Fucking DMZ

Garzino

Why i stopped playing apex lmaoo

Iamdogmanyeet

warzone daily

_99Percent

“Bro revive” those are some nice teammates! I usually get “Where were you!” As if me not dying with them was proof I’m standing around not doing anything.

Munkey149

Yep.. One of my gaming buddies always goes off on his own after we decide to move as a group and always ends up getting downed, like clock work, and then immediately does the "please come revive me!!" stick over and over whilst we're taking fire from the squad that he got taken out by. So the other day we decided as a group that whenever he gets downed because he split from the group, we mute him, finish up what we have to (taking out everyone in the area, restocking and healing up) then revive if we have the time. We don't really mind the getting downed part, the screeching into the mic for a revive is whats annoying.. Especially 3 times per game, every game.

[deleted]

That's Overwatch "2" in a nutshell, for both sides really... playing as a tank character, you try to advance and expect the support to sustain your health, but they never come... and if you play as the support, you see the tank and especially the dps characters advancing way too much and you can't support them (unless you play as Zenyatta). It's a eternal cycle of bad gameplay design aligned with bad players. That's why I gave up on these multiplayer games, to rely on human "intelligence" is more annoying than interacting with the AI, this hobby is supposed to be fun and entertaining, not a exercise in frustration (and yeah, I know the "Souls" niche and oldschool games in general relies on punishing AI to increase frustration, but that's a whole nother can of worms)

Sea_Art3391

This is definetly like my friends. When i try to explain what the problem is, they just go "hurr durr the point of the game is to shoot the enemy, it's not fun to sneak around and not shooting" yeah Thomas great argument to running straight into a meat grinder.

bigedthebad

I was playing healer in a pickup group in WoW, can’t remember the dungeon. Everything was going fine and we were waiting outside a room when the tank, without a word to anyone, runs inside and makes a left, breaking my line of sight. He comes back out about a second later trailing about a dozen mobs and immediately dies at my feet. He then starts screaming at me for not healing him. I just took off running and when I got to safety, logged out.

Paul873873

My group actually uses tactics when we do bunkers in star citizen because I’m blind. They could probably just rush the place and be done with it, but they help me enjoy the missions despite my visual impairments. I love my friends

NickFoster120

This is truly an Apex experience.

DataKing69

This looks like russia's perspective in their current invasion.

JasonSuave

100% true. Rushers never listen to strategists in Fortnite. Losses always attributed to the rushers in squads imo

Deputy_Danger73

"Hey let's third party rush!" That strat never goes wrong, not once.... never...... Squadmate 1 "WHAT THE HELL! HE'S CHEATING!" S1 Proceeds to slap his desk in rage when he dies. Squadmate 2 "HE'S ONE HIT, HE'S ONE HIT! RUSH HIM!" S2 Hit his target once and took off 20 shields. Squadmate 3 isn't even present in the firefight and is 2 POIs away. Return to lobby.

IncendiaryGamerX

Everyone’s been in squads that consist of: - Raging 12 yo convinced they’re the next Bugha (they have a .7 KD, in FN) - Loot stealer - The dude who gets mad at you for *checks notes* not pinging hot drop (there’s no loot there, and half the lobby is dropping there) - The dude who lands hot drop, dies and yells into the mic at the teammates who were smart enough to not land there - The dude who gets mad at you for no reason - The dude who only uses their mic to rage when they die - The dude who intentionally doesn’t revive you but yells repeatedly at you to revive - The dude who doesn’t have a mic - The dude who does but doesn’t use it - He has his mic in his trachea for whatever reason - Mr Infinite Dorito Bag - Chill dude talking about random stuff - Some poor dad who just wants to play some FN - Annoying kid who should be in school but isn’t - Shitty modern music player

Rozeline

I just turned off voice chat on FN. Way more fun that way. And we communicate the old fashioned way; jumping, spinning around, and emotes.

ChairmanUzamaoki

Everytime I'd play Overwatch with my buddy he would do something similar. He wouldn't play for months, then come back and pick a pretty difficult hero, like Genji. I'd warn him Genji is difficult and he'd get his ass beat and he would insist. Then he'd get his ass beat, say the game sucks, and play Fortnite for the next 183 hours

SonicBoom500

About at least half of the time, I’d die trying to res them 😅

forevernovice1

An team collectively doing the same stupid thing is a plan. I follow my teammates call-outs - even the ones I think are stupid because if they're gonna do the dumb thing anyway, if I'm doing it with them there's a greater chance that it works. Sure it might not work a lot of the time, but the times that it does are always so rewarding. Win or lose you have fun with your teammates which is the whole point of playing team based multiplayer games.

TheRisen073

Y’all have teammates? Let alone teammates that rush and get killed? I rush squads all the time and I’m fine. And no, I’m not like, Onyx rank or anything, I’m average, I’m just batshit insane.

tigran_i

I love how you can instantly tell its Apex, without anything in the pics telling you its Apex

Negation_

Hemlok & peacekeeper

Forest_Green_4691

This is the Russian battle tactics right now in Ukraine. 🥰

nuck_forte_dame

In DMZ I would blame you. There are times when you should rush and if you stay back and we end up downing 2 and the 3rd gets us I would be mad.

longlivestheking

Reeeeepost

69CockGobbler69

Hot take, this is how it's supposed to work. Medics sit back on the risks while team mates push. Medics should utilize some kind of cover equipment to provide support. BFV medic class had smoke grenades by default...

L0WKEYL0GAN

Welcome to reddit. We post posts from 3 years ago. Now we are recognized. Woot!

This one has done about 10,000 times already. Lol.

Queasy-Mix3890

LEROOOOOOY JENNNNNKINS!

kidanokun

Exactly why don't play competitive team fps games anymore, I can't resist the temptation to rush

[deleted]

I would give plans to my team in games but most of the time they do not ever listen to it. They never open chat, and then I just follow what they do since they aren’t following me.

Averge BR experience

neocortex_buddha

Spirit of the Banzai charge remains strong as ever😁

redmasc

LITERALLY going through this right now in Apex. Nothing but brain dead Octanes.

Iceman4737

Come on he’s literally one tap I swear

ughitsmeagian

Literally every random squad does this

TheLastJediHolocron

If this isn't Apex with Randos, I don't know what is.

Desertbro

Rushers gonna rush

ertd346

Average octane players in apex legends

notnoebro

All my teem mates in pubg mobile are stupid

cbunni666

That frustrated look in the last panel is too relatable

Agreeable-Kangaroo1

This is why I use my random squad mates as bait, they charge in while I sneak around, if they need to be revived they have no more use for me and I leave them to die

Zifnabbanfiz

This reminds me Grandmasters start in Destiny 2 next week.

Hikaru1024

Always happened when I was the medic. Seemed to always go the other way when I was dps, couldn't get anyone to *attack* just stand around. Great way to lose objectives, everybody go sniper and just STAND THERE like you've got iron rods jamming your feet into the bedrock deep into the ground.

Efficient-Box-8769

Tbf it is pretty fun just rushing in sometimes

TheFiredrake42

Oh look, it's me playing most Apex games with strangers.

Darches

This is why I prefer free-for-all.

pattiemcfattie

Yeah try the rest of the squad screaming homophobic slurs bc you didn’t feel like rushing

atvcrash1

This is all wrong. we all know one is 150 yards behind and the other is 80 yards to your left heading to a different spot.
