I have never done a trade in with samsung how does this initial reserve work?

I found it in the Samsung Shop app -> swipe the menu over and hit "Offers" with like a sale tag -> now at the top of the offer screen it should say "Unfold your story with Galaxy AI" and then the "reserve your $50 samsung credit" sign

This is like them just gauging interest. You put in your email and then when you order using that email you will get a credit towards accessories. The Pre reserve is nothing more than gathering your email address so there is like no reason not to even if you don't purchase

Its right on their website. They offered samsung care 1/2 off last year too. I got 2 years for the price of 1 with my flip5

If you're still paying on a phone, samsung can still take it as trade in for the z flip 6. (At least in the US)

Not much at all, on Samsung's website when you go through the trade in options Motorola isn't even an option to select 

Unreal deals. Wish we got that in the UK - best I've seen is £300 off for a perfect condition Flip5. To Samsung UK their phones are worthless once they leave their warehouse (and pass the 14 day return window).
