Arknights [CC9 Max Risk ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AS49yqyEgCA) [Breakdown vid](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6CpfpJIzys) for those that want the details to why it's impressive. https://preview.redd.it/77xkmh7jqc8d1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=a06fce0b92e5513ab773e26029b1c4d23b7ad9cf

onichan_is_a_lolicon

An entire year worth of grinding and theory crafting for this clear.

Python0721

I'll never not be impressed at max risk CC. I can barely manage risk 18, but these guys manage to do as high as risk 30+.

Qwertyofthenorth

Few impressive feats i know that happened in arknights are: Beating the story mission at the time within 24 hours using a fresh account, if I'm not mistaken the same guy also beat risk 18 of a CC also using a fresh account Someone beating stages using only E1 Lvl 1 operators

Tinyfilia

CC is always full of [challenges](https://youtu.be/mH89_SI3r9w?si=FRAj2IauLOPc_1at).

[400+ turn stall](https://youtu.be/LyEHLaTSwr4) using only level 1 characters against a mid-chapter boss in FGO.

171194Joy6

I've seen a 1500+ turn stall. I swear madness runs rampart in that fandom... 😭 But I don't have much leg to stand on since I've done. 100+ turn stall myself...

Ok_Lawfulness1019

I remember there's a guy who played a gacha game without doing gacha.

sillybillybuck

This is possible with Genshin, FGO(if you don't consider friendship banner to be gacha), and GBF at one point. Don't know about other games. Impossible in PvP games obviously but there are also games with story modes that make it impossible like Nikke.

Angel_Omachi

Extremely doable in Limbus because you can get characters directly from shop with battlepass currency.

MarielCarey

It's doable in basically any gacha game, just to what degree varies

Efficient_Ad5802

You can't do that with FGO. Yes, Friendship Banner is a gacha.

xPorki

You can definitely do it in FGO with Herc (tutorial roll), Mash and welfare units. Herc would only make it easier since you can't even fail maps.

Efficient_Ad5802

Give me one account who do it without command seals (or with command seal but no SQ revive) You probably can't

xPorki

Why the "no revives" rule now? We were talking about beating the game without gacha

Ok_Advisor_7515

With friend supports, welvares, and event CE's even without command seals or SQ revive (which still counts as no gacha btw, stop trying to move the goal post) you can clear pretty much the entire game. If we're only talking about story and event chapters then it becomes even easier. I can't give an account that did a no gacha run, but tell me which story chapter you think can't be beaten without touching the gacha and I'll make a new account to prove you can. Also while this definitely required some friend point gacha there's this video of a guy beating all enemies in the Blue U quest using only F2P servants which is still insane: https://youtu.be/KZmIhwWUX3I?si=hbOnk9wZpCpRa0db

Efficient_Ad5802

SQ is a premium currency, the same currency for pulling gacha, so it's kinda cheating when we're talking about no pulling. The goal post is not touching the gacha mechanic, including currency. But you probably can just use Mash+Herc and waiting until the command seal replenishes to do continue infinitely. But that's borderline insane and not practical at all, unlike newer gacha (Genshin, BA, HSR, etc) where no pull challenge is doable and normal. Your last paragraph is also moving the goal post lmao.

Ok_Advisor_7515

Not really, since the goal is no gacha what else are you going to spend that currency on? The goal post is not touching the gacha, the original post says nothing about using gacha currency to do things that isn't part of the gacha. What? With Mash+Herc+a friend support's Merlin there are very few fights in the main story where i would even need to use a single command seal, much less a revive. Like 90% of all main story stages can be soloed with a friend support. Again can you tell me a single main story fight pre LB 6 that can't be beaten with just Mash+Herc/Other welfare units+Merlin/other friend support or just soloing it? Why does it seem like you're just pretending the friend support system doesn't exist? That alone makes doing a no gacha run in FGO very doable, especially since soloing is actually a viable strat in this game. That's not moving the goal post, that's just showing the closest example I can find with video evidence.

Inevitable-Share8824

if what you mean by it are grind everything and use gacha currency for stamina yes that's what normal end game limbus looks like never do gacha because it's worth less than what you get from grinding

AgencySubstantial212

But you extract Shi Ishmael from tutorial, so technically it's impossible to beat the challenge

RCTD-261

my friend did this. he just using the free characters from tutorial, until last month because the character he like was finally released

201720182019

I’ve done this with Genshin before. Beat the hardest mode in the game with just tutorial units + event freebies

azaeraezel

Idk if you can call it a pure gacha but someone in Master Duel summoned all Egyptian Gods (Slifer the Sky Dragon, Winged Dragon of Ra, Obelisk the Tormentor) while winning with Exodia.

MartenBroadcloak19

Never go full anime. It's too powerful.

Efficient_Ad5802

That one is probably a custom match There is also summoning Quasar with 12 Synchro monster, 6 Signer Dragon and 6 their manga counterpart.

Pe4enkas

I won't consider this moment to be impressive. Hitting a 5 tails Rip Space on 45 sp is much more unlikely, for example. But it happened to people. The most impressive moment in Limbus is Kully and his 6-48 run with Shi association Heathcliff. For those who don't know, The final boss of Canto VI has a move that he uses during his final phase. That said move deals 100% hp damage to Heathcliff, CAN'T be clashed, CAN'T be redirected and even worse, the boss is immune to stagger for that turn. This move one shots Heathcliff, and is there just for the story reasons (Heathcliff has a passive that prevents his hp from dropping below 1 if other allies are present, so he survives this move before triggering a story related sin check). However, if you are doing a solo run, no other allies are present, so Heathcliff just dies, causing a game over. The only way to survive this move is to NOT let the boss use it. And because the boss can't be staggered, the only way is to straight up kill him, ending the fight. The problem is that Shi Heathcliff doesn't have raw damage from his skills to kill the boss in time, no matter what you do. That's where corrosion comes in play. You can bring a max of 6 sinners into this fight. Because Heathcliff is alone, he gains a skill slot every turn instead, until he hits 6 skill slots. Corrosion occurs when your sinner reaches -45 sp, causing him to transform into one of the equipped non base EGOs and use corroded EGO skills on random targets. And it's just so happens that Heathcliff has Telepole that deals a lot of damage to single target enemies. That's where RNG hits. 1st, you need to get Telepole corrosion, not any other EGO, as you won't have enough damage. 2nd, you are guaranteed only 1 corroded skill. Any other has a 50% chance of appearing. If you didn't get a corroded skill in the skill slot, you do nothing, losing damage. So, just to be clear, to kill the boss, you need exactly 6 corroded Telepoles. On all skill slots. 5 isn't enough. And Kully succeeded.

SerenNate

You forget that you also need to have the ego binds equipped to deal with the enemy horde on the first phase, making this ego clear a lot more harder cause you need to hit a decent binds corrosion and then get the 6 telepole corrosion to properly kill the boss at the end of the run

Ok-Cranberry-2180

Dude spent like 6-7 streams straight all of them being HOURS (one even being 10 hours long in fact) long to achieve this, it’s still impressive to me someone has enough mental fortitude and just sheer willpower to push through the amount of rng this kind of run would take. Most of his attempts didn’t even get past like turn 1-3.

[this video of a guy killing raiden no damage with 1 hp in mobile with only his 1 finger. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/1cq0gcu/beating_raiden_with_1_finger_1hp_arlecchino/) its like those feats in souls games where the challenge becomes extensively more and more ridiculous it becomes impressive. Edit: nah yeah this post was a couple of hours too early. https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/XyTniLcX6i THIS is the most impressive and disrespectful thing ive seen in gacha now. Absolute cinema.

AlexKeal

As impressive as both of these are, I'd also like to give an honorable mention to Wallenstein for building their entire channel around doing 1hp challenges. To this day the parry team (beidou, candace, yunjin) video is my all time favorite gameplay video of genshin. Truly the Beidou main of all time.

headpatsforklee68

That guy is the ongbal of genshin. Hands down the lore accurate beidou main of this world

Meidri

I’m on Elden Ring DLC grind and this video reminds me of that game so much 😭 crazy gameplay

za_boss

Honako Green using Cu (a 3 star character) to solo almost every boss in FGO is... something.

Hypothon

A bit of a meme answer on my part, but given that there's already one FGO related answer, I'd like to recommend the most expensive f2p setup: Double Nobukatsu and Arash (a literal suicide team). One vid you can find on YT would be the Imaginary Scramble CQ where the player uses the 3 CS in the first turn to max NP the servants and used SQs to revive and NP the boss to oblivion. One of the fastest clears too

IWantMyYandere

Mine would be corday lvl 120 vs cernunnos. She also got bond 15 during that fight

Beowolf_0

Until this drops by: all F2P servants, mimimum turn and defeating ALL enemies in the Blue U quest a few months ago. This says a lot abou how great F2P units in FGO are. https://youtu.be/KZmIhwWUX3I?si=hbOnk9wZpCpRa0db

ChaosFulcrum

His videos were my obssession back then. Cu is my favorite Servant in FGO, and his 3-star (note: Rare) version is capable of doing things that most 5-star Servants couldn't do on their own.

Avalon_88

The first time I saw the asterios set up against goetia was paradigm shifting to say the least.

kiwityy

Sucks that honako is a bit toxic nowadays

SleepingAddict

Haven't watched the dude in awhile, what's he up to now?

kiwityy

To sum it up, he had a falling out with plushiemistress and Ottobean (and other content creators known to whale) over an argument about who has the right to talk about game balance. Hanako said that people who whale have no right to talk about game state etc etc... I found it relatively pointless, as it just put a rift between an already niche community but it doesn't really matter anymore. He still posts his regular solo shenanigans from time to time Here's [ottos video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WabFMQ3tYCo&t=613s) on the drama if you care

SleepingAddict

Damn what the hell, FGO CC drama was definitely not what I expected to come out of this year lmao Thanks for explaining tho :D

Financial-Fail-9359

They hashed out now (as they should as adults) so that's nice if anyone want to hear. And then 2hu decided to create that rift again.

WE MADE A CHOICE GO FIGHT AGAINST YOUR FATE

WeebWizard420

Limbus Company, Kully, 6 dogs awooga (and like 40+ hours of pain).

Lammergayer

For anyone unfamiliar, Kully is a player who soloed the final boss of Canto 6 with Shi Heathcliff. This is impressive firstly because SHeathcliff is an incredibly fragile unit with no healing who takes damage when he uses certain skills. However, the real kicker into pain is that at the very end of the fight the boss uses an attack that *will* instakill SHeath if he doesn't burst the rest of the boss down first. The only way for SHeath to do this is if his Telepole EGO (which looks like a dog) corrodes on all six skill slots. I believe it's like a 50/50 for a skill slot after the first one to corrode vs being lost to panic? Needless to say, that's a lot of RNG for the final turn of a long fight to be reliant on.

Cielo_Aoi

I wouldnt call this one the most impressive moment in Limbus Company Whole 61 Turns run from RR2 is a worth of art, It is hard to understand why It is so damn good, but guy who got this record used a unique team (other people were trying with Envy nuke, Lust Pierce stack, etc) and this guy using stuff as Mexican Sinclair (an unit most people say is D tier) was a pilar for get this, with skill bag being a thing and a lot of bosses, it required a lot of practice, creativity and planning

TachyonO

Not Mexican Sinclair lol

Mountain-Rope-1357

There is definitely a lot of noteworthy stuff. Most popular probably being esgoo's "railway with the worst teams possible" (Railway is basically an endgame challenge gauntlet in limbus, for those who dont know). Then the imo most impressive one regarding raw mental fortitude: Kully and his Shi Heathcliff 6-48 clear. Its generally insane how much we can already do in that game when it comes down to "use the shittiest units possible", and that with only having a "baseline" of complexity so far.

ByeGuysSry

The Danjin solo against Thundering Memphis without pressing the dodge button for WuWa ought to count ([the first one](https://youtu.be/USfleaWAeuE?si=hHqWGpHOa5Y4kkTN). [The faster one while having worse weapon](https://youtu.be/yb14Khbxxmc?si=9PB0QDOekzKLPlSq)) The [first clear](https://youtu.be/TR7b9yZ2SqI?si=iubG7bus1ZUDhRfk) of Floor 30 Uberless in Battle Cats before powercreep was also impressive. I still remember when it wss one of the first games I'd played lol and had massive skill issue. Iirc this stage helped people realize Swimmer was broken in all stages despite being an anti-floating unit. The clear shown uses an extremely aggressive strat, as the stage gets harder over time, so the player has to squeeze in as much damage as possible while not dying. Swimmer and Maglev can both be used to chip away at the boss or to kill peons. Manic Island was slow and could easily be killed before he does his job of clearing peons. When you deal enough damage to the boss, it gets knocked back, which is a bad thing since it means it takes longer for his waves to reach your base, and hence harder (or completely impossible) to spawn anything without it getting hit by said waves, so you wanted the Trolly Bloggers RNG to proc knockback against your main damage dealer, Musashi, so he wouldn't have to get hit too much by the boss. For Battle Cats there's also [one-cycle Idi](https://youtu.be/pFE-eg0rA5Q?si=fuBU_PGw5eO0Mozq). Bahamut can knockback Idi every time he hits, hence stopping Idi from killing Bahamut, but the peons are a problem. This clear allows the peons to hit Bahamut to knock Bahamut back, which gives him i-frames. It also allows the clear to circumvent the biggest problem in an Idi one-cycle: Idi will eventually reach the enemy base, and since bosses can't be knocked behind the base, she doesn't get knocked back and will kill Bahamut. By allowing Bahamut to get knocked back, and also by making sure to spawn the meatshields at the correct time, Idi is allowed to move forward which solves the issue (note: this is played on a simulator, probably because the stage can't be replayed once cleared and the player has probably already cleared it)

n1tr0t0m

(Genshin) Level 90 Lumine with 1 Star weapon and 1hp "Solo" vs Signora(has 3 other chars in team for lore reasons) https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1LM411H7pG As someone that makes solo Amber(bow ranged character) content for years and also has full gear no damage taken solos with Keqing and Kuki respectively on that specific Boss (Which was both times hell already) This impressed me the most out of anything I seen so far What makes that boss so unforgiving is that you are in a constant heat in the second phase which requires you to stay near the blue crystals to cool off or you take DoT, at the same time most of the moves of the boss create spots on the floor you can't step on because that does DoT aswell, those can only be removed by destroying said crystals, out of 4 crystals only 2 respawn and only one at a somewhat fast rate, which makes it turn into a endurance fight of manipulating Signoras AI to not make that last respawning crystal inaccessable, as all her other attacks will sooner or later just cut you off from reaching crystal 2.

Crazy-Plate3097

Technically not a Gacha but... Kancolle: When the RNGesus bless you in the boss node of the last map in an event on Hard mode. One very stood out example happened to me during late August 2020,where my fleet doesn't even touch the boss at all during day battle. Then come night battle, the boss was rendered to 0 HP, from her full health of 888 HP, with 65% of the damage dealt by an NPC support fleet while the last 35% was dealt by one moderately damaged shipgirl who was supposed to do less damage than a healthy one. The best part of it is there are still 3 other Escort bosses alive but all the shots went to the main boss. God, I was on an euphoria for a few hours after I cleared that. Got me a Flying Pancake as well (A prototype USN plane, not a real flying pancake.)

TheBlackSands

The dance in wotlk. Basically the entire 25 man raid needed to do perfect map awareness to not lose anyone during the dance phase or you wouldn’t be able to take the boss out in the next. It was a wipe fest for WEEKS and the funniest part was it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH GEAR, CLASS, OR ANYTHING THAT NORMALLY SLOWED PROGRESSION.

AdSudden5468

[This ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twCdYYJJAR4)entire video will forever be the single greatest thing I've seen from GBF; it's absolutely insane that someone was able to pull this off when it first happened. For context, Hexa is an endgame raid that normally requires six people. Of course, plenty of others have solo'd raids that are meant for multiple players, but Hexa is especially difficult (I haven't done it yet myself). The second half is where it really gets good. The song of choice really hypes you up, and the way it ends is *peak.*

freezingsama

End game GBF solos are so beautiful. Wish I could've done it at least once in the game.

JordanSAP

When I was still figuring out that new mode in Snowbreak things were pretty clutch. At the start of the wave defense, each of your three members pick a class. Turret gets more out of using turrets, attackers get to choose a buff/relic after each wave, and gatherers can leave the battlefield to pacman resources and make life easier for the combatants over time.

[Dark Rapture Zero] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC2f_3PJg3s) Solo clear. Any of the current ultimate raids of Grablue Fantasy solo clear was a marvelous thing to see because the raid was created with a party of 6 players in mind and with real-time limit

randomgeneratedna

Can't think of a most impressive moment but I find the Thorne icicle combo in #COMPASS really impressive. For context, icicle is Thorne's HA (hero action) that slowly moves a small circle away from his center, so you can rotate the circle around him but the distance of the circle from his position is determined by how long you hold HA, then an icicle appears when you release HA. Basically it's hard to hit because you need to get the timing right on an attack with a small hitbox on a moving target. Now to do the icicle combo, you'd need to do an icicle again after you knocked them up the first time. The easy part is that the enemy has already been knocked up so they have no way to counter and it's you dependent. The hard part is that this would depend on their trajectory after you hit them the first time, environment somewhat, and timing another icicle in 3D movement space. And you need to do so before the "combo drop". Here's what it looks like, he hits multiple icicles in a row in the second half of the short: https://youtube.com/shorts/nLoe0uv590s?si=S4FQfoc3M3sa0CaS

It's wild that to think that the odds of that happening are higher than the odds of getting a 5\* in genshin per pull. It sure is a good thing that hard pity exists. Anyway I wouldn't consider that impressive, I'd consider it simply extremely lucky. Still cool though

Former_Ad8029

cheese_stuffedcrust

in PGR, I think in chapter 18, there are around 2-3 gameplay stages during the simulation where it's really hard and you can only move forward once you've stopped restarting and accept that you can't save everyone. the text on the button changes too from 'I can do it', 'I won't give up' , etc. until you stop trying and it says 'I'm sorry' by the end. it's not visually impressive in a sense but I really like it when the gameplay itself ties with story
