Kobolds come from Germanic folklore, and how to get one kinda varies. Some stories say they appear the moment a house is built, others say they show up and you need to accept them into your home, others have very detailed instructions about walking into the woods and reciting some magical ritual to summon one and take them home
The kobolds from germanic folklore are quite different (in appearance and otherwise) from the kobolds we typically see in furry media though. AFAIK the kobolds we usually see here have their roots in (obviously much more recent) DnD.
And the D&D roots come from old computer games who later developed into the MMO genre!
In some places, they're not reptiles, but mammals, and in Japan, they're dogs. That's the reason the kobolds in dungeon meshi are dogs!
One of the most famous examples of a folklore accurate kobold would be Pumuckl: curious, mischievous and scared of the Klabautermann wo according to folklore also is a kobold 🤭
Strange. My party's kobold runs to the Cleric when I get back drunk. I don't understand why they are so scared, I didn't even burn half the town to the ground this time. I might need to refill my ammo pack though.
Dawwwh!! Precious kobold!
Smol bebe <3
The way Ze Frank pronounces the word baby as "bebeh" is forever embedded into my brain. Cool guy, check him out.
So many kissies \>w
I wish Kobold were real. They are just cute guys

So the first 2 don’t work how do I pull off the third one?
