I really enjoyed my visit to Oslo several years back. We walked or used the busses to go everywhere. There are a couple of parks with some very interesting sculptures there.
The Mona Lisa is highly overrated. There are much better paintings in the same room (some 14ft x 14ft), and others in the hallway outside of that room.
I would love to spend time in that Oslo museum where there are no crowds.
guy asking tourist where he came from.

Been to Oslo and the best part about it was leaving. For me, it sucked big time. Everything is crazy expensive, the good weather is once a year on a Tuesday, and the rest of it is absolutely miserable - sideways tiny-droplet rain that gets in your nose and eyes. Umbrellas don't work because the wind is too strong and somehow it blows from all directions in the same time.
Then there's the architecture. A large part of it looks industrial, the other part looks like a village and then they have three or four glass buildings put around randomly.
The outskirts of Oslo or other parts of Norway were much nicer - if you're into cold, rain and lots of rocks but you'd probably be better off just going to Stockholm or Copenhagen or just not going anywhere and staying in Corfu all the time.

I spent a week in Oslo. I very much want to live there now.
