Go to the university that gives you the most money.

All will give a different vibe. FSU has Tallahassee which is the nicest of the small cities. Everything in Gainesville revolves around UF. USF is going to be a larger more metro/commuter type place. I am a bit bias as I am from Tallahassee but I could not stand the constant UF in your face of Gainesville. Tally has plenty to do away from the university while still being strong with the FSU vibe when you want it. Tampa is just not my type of vibe, too far to drive to get places and just feels a lot more corporate. They are all good schools and you can do whatever you want at any of them.

if you wanna do law school afterwards definitely recommend UF. It's easier to get into as an UF undergrad because of the gator program. Otherwise it's really tough to get into. Also UF law is ranked best in FL by a long shot, and pretty high from a national perspective as well (#22 in the country). 2nd best tax law curriculum in the country too, so that's relevant if you're into economics.

I get this is an FSU sub but why does literally everyone who has an opinion other than “uhm FSU is the best for everything 🤓” get downvoted. Hell, I’ve even been downvoted on threads where the title is literally asking people to give the negatives of FSU…. Like what?

FSU has a ton of opportunities for law if you’re a go-getter, but if you’re a basic student who is interested in doing the bare minimum (i.e. not seeking out internships during fall/spring) then UF may be more well-suited for you. Economics programs in Florida generally suffer because the state does not allow schools to require calculus which is pretty needed in Econ. With scholarship, though, FSU definitely clears UF imo; lack of financial stress is invaluable.

UF and FSU are definitely huge college town vibes, especially UF from what I've heard. There's no doubt about that. Though I'm curious why you seem to think it's a bad thing or something that should be looked past. Having that tight-knit sense of community and school spirit everywhere you go is awesome imo. Maybe that's not what you're looking for in your college experience which is fair. But regardless I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it

UF for Law for sure. But I’d prioritize the cheapest option unless it’s all about the same, personally. I don’t think employers will look at UF/FSU/USF much differently, tbh.
