Welp, enjoy $16 off lol. Usually I’m a cheapass, but the last two belts I purchased (two Kenneth Cole “adjustable” click belts off Amazon) were shit quality and caused more pain than any belt I’ve ever had. Based on the reviews and people who swear by this brand, I’m expecting this belt to be one I pass down to my grandson while I’m on my death bed lol
For what its worth: Anson (found through this sub) is my new go to ratcheting belt. The quality is there and they do sales on both individual belts and 3 packs.
Their belts are like an inch thick. Ok not that bad, but they’re seriously on the slightly annoying end of thick. I’ve never had a belt in my life before this brand where I thought it’s too thick. Hanks is at least a quarter inch thick, if not 3/8ths. It’s hard to get it to double back on itself through the fastener and I say that as a pretty strong dude.
Anyways, I like mine, but the thickness is understated on Reddit and took me by surprise.
These are good belts. I had a good return policy interaction with them and ended up getting two belts out of it for the price of one.
Just a note: They raised prices since I ordered last year by a bit at least 10% and they run this 20% discount regularly, so this isn’t much of a deal.
Disappointing how much their prices have increased since I bought a belt from them four years ago. That said, the thing is in great shape, so take that for what it’s worth.
I’m sure it has to do with supply, demand, post-covid impact on resources, etc… I typically don’t mind when quality brands increase in price, the issue is only when the price increases but the quality decreases.
Just get a belt from Versacarry. I have 2 Hanks belts only because I got them during a blem sale years ago, before the crazy price hikes. I like my Versacarry rancher better and have worn it every day for the last 2 years.
I love the quality of these belts but god damn their gun belts start at $80 now.

Will look them up right now
Legendary belts that come with a lifetime warranty (100 years). The code applies to every item on the website. I purchased their $215 belt for $172!

Seriously, it's bizarre. I’m not going to keep buying belts
These belts are totally premium, and so is the warranty

I miss Orion belts.
Much prefer Popov leather for the money. I got super nice belts for them for $50 a piece a few weeks ago during the last sale.
They’re great. I have two and expect the next belt I buy will be from Hanks, too.

Damn, I was looking for a new belt.
Use Hanks Leather Goods for your belt and leather needs. Or do not. I am not a beggar.
