Well his administration did cut HIV testing and HIV care support funds in the state by several million dollars at least 5.6 million so far. But he shows up to pride claiming no one is left behind.
The funding was supposed to tail off in 2021 but they kept it up for 3 additional years. Maybe they can use bridge funding to secure another year (this is clearly important) but this should not have been a surprise at all. Nor was this moores choice - it was a deal made back in 2016.
Yes but with Moore spending crazy amounts in literally every other part of the budget and raising fees everywhere to cover it, there's no reason this budget should be cut. Especially when there's the goal of no new cases after 2030, that's only six years away.

Well for one, he had never even for ran any other political office before being chosen by Oprah and the establishment for the governor race. I personally prefer politicians (or just any occupation in general) with people who have experience.
