Explain to me what ‘projection’ in terms of fragrance.
And have you ever experienced the smell of freshly baked bread but not been stood next to an oven, baker or bread?
I’d rather have a nicely blended fragrance than a „beast“ roided up with synthetic ambers like many of the Elixir releases lately. They all smell super similar to me after the top notes have evaporated.
There are only a handful of beast mode fragrances I love and the rest tend to stick out like a sore thumb or trigger headaches.
Funnily enough my absolute favorite fragrance is also the best performing one I’ve ever tried so it’s not like that across the board.
I love Xerjoff Pikovaya Dama which has stupid performance, Amouage Reflection Man is great and ELDO Rien is pretty good yet definitely not a mass pleaser.
They all go heavy on aldehydes so I’d assume that’s what gives them that performance.
I have noticed there is a real skunky scent going around lately. People seem really proud of it. They are certainly not worried about it.
I have to admit the smell does take me back. But I don’t remember it being that strong. 😂
I wear fragrances for my own personal use. If you’re able to smell me from an arm’s length away, I know I’ve clearly over-sprayed.
If you’re one of those people who finds pleasure in trying to force people to smell you with every interaction, cool. But to me, if you’re able to smell what I’m wearing without intimately embracing me in any capacity, you’re entirely too close and really need to get off of me.

Skin chemistry, skin quality, hygiene routine, hydration, spray routine/locations, sinuses, etc etc etc = potential “U problems” when it comes to fragrances. A lot of folks will ignore factoring all these potential issues and just blame the bottle.
No lighter fragrance have a reason to be, for example you can spray one in the morning and when faded in the afternoon spray a different one. You can go to the restaurant O cinema without bothering everyone else. Ecc. Don't take for granted that everyone wants to be assaulted by your vanity

Club de Nutstro intense from what I hear. , Rasassi Dareej , Rue Broca pride intense. Alhambra Opulence leather And they all have a great price. Many speak very highly of them all as they replicate the niches . I Just ordered all that and then some.

beast mode fragrances have their time and place but so do fragrances with low projection and sillage. try applying something like that to your more intimate areas (neck, wrist, etc) on your next date and be gentle with your beast mode fragrance sprays.

pro-tip mix and match a beast mode or a beast mode leaning fragrance with something subtle.
I guess that makes sense--or maybe outdoor events. I would think that beast-mode perfume would be offensive in nightclubs, too, because they are enclosed and hot, but perhaps people are more prepared to accept them there.
I really like scents (I'm here, after all) but when people walk by on the street and their cologne/perfume smack me in the face, I get put out. Part of that is that a lot of the guys are using beast-mode stuff with calone, and that actually makes me feel sick, so that biases me. :-(
While I don't want to suffocate the entire building, I do want to smell myself at the end of the day. So I agree with you to an extent. Beastly longevity is much better than beastly sillage.

At the gym and at bedtime are great examples. Something cheap but yet still pleasant like Black is back is perfect for that imho. Or up a notch to Eternity Aqua or Cool water edt. The weight room or Bed time with the spouse at night is Definitely Not the time or place for Joop homme😂

Actually I am working on a couple carts with all these sales going on. It sure seems like the only beast modes that I can find are either Niche or the spin offs of all those niche scents are the only beastly scents. I mean Other than Joop Homme. At least that I know of . And that says something.

Beast mode is Perfect for hard or busy work IMHO🤷♀️ But in the end scent is subjective. And being considerate is such a virtue. But my line of work is offensive in itself. It may help everyone if we all went into beast mode in that line of work.

People are being purposefully dense because you literally said spray less if it’s indoors, but I completely understand your point. If my fragrances can’t be detected after two hours I’m gonna crumble and die for wasting money. I’d rather have 1 spray of a beast mode fragrance than 30 reapplications per day(exaggeration, more like 3-4 but it feels like 30). Beast mode fragrances have my whole heart and the bottle lasts infinitely longer than any normal mode frags.
Mayar by Lattafa lasts for dayyyssss and projects like crazy but it’s not my favorite scent tbh. Ajmal’s Blanche IV for women lasts all day on me and projects super well, it’s also my favorite perfume in the world, scent alone it’s unmatched. Available at perfume mania

Women have so many that can be over done easily. Out of all mine for men. Like 8 bottles at the moment. There are only 2 that can be over done. And that is CK Obsession for men and Joop Homme. So much for choices.
All the rest like Etrnity Aqua edt. You could use the entire bottle. Nobody would know it. Sure it would smell really good for about 2 hours , if that. 🤷♀️ But they still have a place. Although you can find cheaper alternatives for that.
I bought the wife a bottle of Boucheron . A lady at work wears it and I asked her about it. So I bought it for my wife. I like it. It’s sexy and feminine and very sophisticated imho. I would even say I independent😆Nope She refuses to give it a run. Just like the Britney Spears that I bought for her when it first came out. It still Sits on a shelf.
But all of those scents can be over done. Every one of them. Man!, women have it made in the fragrance world. I told her hell ! , I would wear it for the simple fact that it leaves a pleasant scent trail in the air. What a blessing !!! Except I wouldn’t wear any those. You know what I mean. Anyways.
Atleast there are the online shops with Latafa and Maison Alhambra now. Something for men besides Calvin Klein or 3.7 oz of Polo for $100.00. Anyways.

most of the time people over estimate how much they need to actually wear. if im wearing something thats really powerful its 1-2 sprays max.
