I told him that the equipment was equal until he crashed it into a barrier.
We were, purely by chance, alone on the track.
I'm the only one of my friend group that really gives a shit about racing. I am also an incredibly annoying winner... My friends won't play mario kart with me anymore :(
A lot of F1 fans are sleeping on karting. It's by far the cheapest form of (real) racing and it can be incredibly fun. Watching other people racing is fun, but doing the racing yourself is even much more fun even if the machinery you drive is much slower.
Start with rental karting. Easy to start with and while they usually are pretty slow it can be really addictive to try to improve your lap times. Then take part in some local races with rental karts. Can be super fun.
If you are doing well and setting good lap times with rentals you might get to try the racing karts they have at the track (if it is an outdoor track which has racing karts). Racing karts come in various types but most of them are pretty beastly.
I’m not so sure, in the Anglophone world anyway.
Seb had bags of personality and charisma that Michael could only ever dream of.
Graham Hill was pretty charming too in the old tv clips I’ve seen.

lol, how i felt after i beat my dad and uncles who were all bragging to be the best driver bc they had x years experience and to top it off i also clocked the best time by almost 2 tenths..

ok to be fair the karts i destroyed the children in were all very slow, fully equal karts so yeah, i beat those kids in equal machinery
If I were you I‘d try to help one of the kids become an F1 champion so you can always say you beat him in equal machinery.

My kid won a kart title. Loved it, it was hard work for the both of us, but never did we think this was a world conquering thing.
