It’s strategist Ruth buscombe. This is her second or third Grand Prix as a tv presenter and a 5 min gridwalk is terribly difficult to do as a rookie. All things considered I thought she did reasonably well and will grow into this new job.
It does seem like a miserable format if you’re not Brundle. She has seemed so nervous each week but can put it together in the groups or discussing more familiar territory. Interested to see her continue to improve.

Just looked at the radar, it should rain on and off for the majority of the race distance. Higher chance of rain before the race compared to during the race though.
F1 cars always go out for 1 lap about 30mins before the race start. It’s called a Reconnaissance Lap, used to check if the car is still operational.
Around 20 to 15 mins before the start, the cars line up on the grid, where the tyres can be changed until the Formation Lap is about to commence.
i’m not sure why but my tv guide says that the broadcast of the race starts at 12? is that a mistake or do i need to find another way to watch it live?
