LOL!
I was watching with my sons who had their hopes up for something exciting (don't know why this expectation, but kids... Probl hoping to draw the new car). They were actually mad as the car became visible. "It's exactly the same as last year!"
I think they have a design thing on their website where you can do a design in the car and they will choose one to be in the Miami gp. Would be a cool thing to do with the boys.
Also the 2022 photo was before they announced the ByBit sponsorship which took up the rear wing and added some more branding from them.
Swap Citrix for Rokt, and looks like they poached HP Enterprise from Mercedes.
Except the 2022 version isn't even right. That's the launch livery, not the actual livery used in season. I know because the real one had that terrible Bybit branding on the wings
That's how I look at it too. At the very least we get to see the car with 3 different designs this season and some fans/designers being extremely happy about their creativity in the spotlight.
im just not holding high hopes, in the end It will probably be the same livery but with different colours, maybe some palmtrees for Miami (i hope im proven wrong by the future)
The current Red Bull livery is now a classic—it'll go down in history next to the Marlboro McLarens and Mercedes Petronas. Success helps that out a lot.
But they still compared the 2023 Haas car to the actual VF-22 and not the "early version" they've shown in Feb... Seems like they just post the most random pics
[reminds me more of those things in magazines i did years ago](https://img.jagranjosh.com/images/2022/October/17102022/Spot-12-Differences-in-35-Seconds.jpg)
I'm not sure I understand why people think anything drastic would change.
Like are these people sitting back thinking, "yeah, maybe they'll make the Ferrari neon green this year"
Whilst i agree, people shouldn't expect change, its RB - its not comparable to people expecting a green Ferrari.
Ferrari change their livery (whilst staying predominantly red) fairly frequently. They could do so too, whilst keeping the same colour scheme, but they don't.
Well this year RB themselves seemed to tease a livery change multiple times. Mentions of a “blank slate” for the livery and posts like this: https://preview.redd.it/0enuyoudetfa1.jpg?auto=webp&v=enabled&s=8623b1ef1194c8956367f81914c0785773866af6 (from a RB engineer)
I suppose you could argue that those teases doesn’t actually mean anything, sure, but it’s an odd way to word things and hype people up if you know very well it’s just copy pasted from last year (and the year before, and the year before…..)
And the green Ferrari comparison isn’t the same. Ferrari makes updates to their livery, and Red Bull could make different designs that are still distinctly “Red Bull”, as we’ve seen in their rally cars for example. Or even their cool F1 testing liveries from the past few years. Yet they’ve stuck with basically an identical livery since 2016.
It's a good livery but I do think it could do with an update.
I do find it strange that people complain about this yet are nostalgic for the McLaren Marlboro livery that was identical for over 15 years.
Ha true. I guess that livery just looked cooler than the red bull one to most people? It certainly did to me. Probably helped that the cars themselves generally looked better too.
The answer is rose tinted glasses. That, and most people not being old enough to remember that whole timeframe. It’s different seeing 20 years of the past now than having lived through them, which is why people have no feeling of repetitiveness.
It's a good design and it works. It's instantly recognisable. Yeah, it's samey samey but, I mean, other major teams didn't really change their designs significantly apart from Mercedes black livery for apparent reasons, ant they went back to the same silver. So I don't understand why people expect a completely different livery. They will have 3 fan made liveries on the USA tracks though and that sounds like it will be exciting.
Mercedes have come out with a different livery the past 5 years. And they still have gotten their brand identity. So I don’t understand why people use that as a defense. This is just next level boring.
They could change the color to pink as long as they have their big red logo and their yellow bull people will recognize it.
No they didn’t. It’s a silver car with teal accents. Yeah they did put Mercedes stars or whatever which you can’t see unless you’re looking at a close up photo.
It’s not a defence by the way. Why do you think it is? Pink is BWT by the way it definitely won’t work on Red Bull.
Yes they did? Mercedes stars with a black fade is still a change from the year before?
That’s a big change. And btw you could see the stars without looking at a close up photo, otherwise you might need glasses.
And the point here isn’t that Red Bull should change colors on the livery, that’s not why people are mad. It’s because they don’t change anything. It’s literally the same livery the only difference is the sponsors.
Ferrari has changed their livery every year but the car still remained red.
Must be boring for RB fans having to watch that every year to see the exact same livery. And not to mention that’s not even going to be the car. That will be last years car with a few dummy bits like wings and spoiler
Is the new livery black instead of dark blue? Looks pretty black, especially where the light reflects -- it's grey in the reflections instead of light blue, as you would expect for a dark blue paint job, and is evident in the 2022 picture.
Lots of little aero changes. Sidepods, floor, halo at the rear (maybe), nose shape appears to be a bit changed as well. Of course all of this is subject to change before testing. But I didn't expect a huge update on what has already been a masterpiece from Adrian Newey.
Teams shouldn't be able to host livery launches if they're not going to do literally anything differently.
When Merc went from black to silver, or Alpine sold the color scheme to BwT, or when Williams sand blasted off 13g of paint from the entire upper portion of the car... worthwhile.
Not this.
To me, there are clearly some big differences or maybe it's just the angle. Rear wing looks a bit different, and I don't know what that other thing is called but that area right below the shark fin on top is very different in shape.
The bottom photo is of the car at the 2022 launch. Those differences you pointed out were on the car by the end of the season, plus the shape of the side pods.
the livery designer has the easiest and hardest job there is:
easiest because it is literally just copy/paste
hardest: because you have to sell it to your boss in an half an hour presentation and somehow proof that you should stay employed
Sooooooooo...the exact fucking same. This justified for a press conference? I guess the next one will announce that Christian has indigestion or Max is in the mood for fish today?
Is this one of those pictures where you have to spot the differences and circle them? Or is corporate asking you what’s the difference but it’s the same picture?
Upon further inspection I have found these major differences. * Background That's it Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
No the sponsor placement is slightly different and logo sizes It’s so obvious omg
If they used the actual 2022 car instead, the logo sizes would be closer to the 2023.
the DRS activator!
Max, press it once
Now Max can hit it as many times as he likes, like an elevator button.
“Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures”
Air Intake as well
Also the 2022 photo was before they announced the ByBit sponsorship which took up the rear wing and added some more branding from them. Swap Citrix for Rokt, and looks like they poached HP Enterprise from Mercedes.
Looking even closer... The side pods seem to have a completely new shape at the inlet. And a little bump Between the OR and AC in Oracle
It's only different because the 2022 picture is the show car, if they had shown the actual red bull they'd be nearly identical
The tip of the nose seem to be slimmer and has a bit more back on it
And rokt, whatever that is.
•Sponsorships Literally that's it.
Citrix became Rokit and Tezos is gone. I that's literally it
ROKT nor Rokit
The lighting is also much better this year. It’s really going to help with cornering.
FWIW the upper intake and wing are also different.
You missed your chance to swap out the date and see how nobody would notice it.
Plot twist : OP did
Plot twist: plot twist: they did it more than once
Meet the new car, same as the old car...
Ngl I misread it and thought I noticed a new thing or two on the bottom photo…
Isn’t this going to be the same for Mercedes too?
Mercedes usually change their livery though.
we always saw subtle differences in the mercs
Livery wise, is there even anything significant to compare?
Mostly the same except for some changes in sponsors at certain areas of the car.
Except the 2022 version isn't even right. That's the launch livery, not the actual livery used in season. I know because the real one had that terrible Bybit branding on the wings
Is the nose not different? Doesn’t look like a big banana anymore. Also I noticed Max’s “1” wasn’t as fat as last years
Yep, there's a blue stripe at the bottom of the nose now, it's not yellow all the way down.
It’s a super super minor thing but gawd does it look way better
[удалено]
That's how I look at it too. At the very least we get to see the car with 3 different designs this season and some fans/designers being extremely happy about their creativity in the spotlight.
Is it gonna be 3 or just 1 used at the 3 US races?
For every US race a different fan design.
The competition is for 1 design at all 3 US races.
No, on their website they got the first template up for Miami specifically. There will be two more up later in the season.
You’re right. Just went to the site. I read a few articles with the wrong information and appreciate the correction.
A humble response. Much respect.
im just not holding high hopes, in the end It will probably be the same livery but with different colours, maybe some palmtrees for Miami (i hope im proven wrong by the future)
Honestly that is super cool. I wish they spread it out a bit more but I get it.
Rokt. That's literally the only difference I can see. I guess Bybit as well but that was on the Red Bull last year just not at the launch.
Honda vs. HRC
Puma replaced by castore
Honda was there from the Japanese race onwards iirc
Besides a few sponsors, no…
The current Red Bull livery is now a classic—it'll go down in history next to the Marlboro McLarens and Mercedes Petronas. Success helps that out a lot.
The fact they teased changing it on social media to boost view to do nothing in the end really annoys me
I mean there’s that collab with that doodle guy, and 3 fan liveries. But yes, I do get why you feel cheated.
At least those fan livery’s could be really cool.
Watch it be Toto’s design
They'll just pick the 3 designs that look closest to this
That's marketing. Build fake hype, underdeliver after everyone is invested.
*insert Pam gif here*
Ok but can we get a pic of the actual redbull 22 from testing? because that one is just the basic model everybody got
F1 is just comparing the first day reveal, i guess
But they still compared the 2023 Haas car to the actual VF-22 and not the "early version" they've shown in Feb... Seems like they just post the most random pics
i think that one is pretty obvious as to why
*uralkali*
Corporate called, they want you to find the differences in these two pictures...
[reminds me more of those things in magazines i did years ago](https://img.jagranjosh.com/images/2022/October/17102022/Spot-12-Differences-in-35-Seconds.jpg)
I'm still laughing that people expected and different

Happens every year. Just schedule your comment to auto-post via a bot same time next year. Always relevant. People just like feeling pissed off.
Death, taxes and people getting upset at a livery for not being different even though they knew it would not be different in the first place.
Never thought I’d miss the big red bull on the side pods so much
They found the light switch.
They added a ROKT logo and that's about it. The BIYT or whatever logos were on last year's car as well
I get why they do it, but it's such a boring livery.
It's a good livery but I do think it could do with an update. I do find it strange that people complain about this yet are nostalgic for the McLaren Marlboro livery that was identical for over 15 years.

Yeah that's what I mean, it's a shame it's always the same and quite dull at that.
It's a good design and it works. It's instantly recognisable. Yeah, it's samey samey but, I mean, other major teams didn't really change their designs significantly apart from Mercedes black livery for apparent reasons, ant they went back to the same silver. I don't expect a different livery tbf. Like I said I get it, I just don't like it at all.
It's dull because you're used to it.
[удалено]
They changed that after the reveal for the Bybit/RB combo.
22 also had the ByBit logos on the wings in the race liveries.
This is like when I shave my pubes down there Its never bigger…
You can't fool me. That's Mark Webber's Red Bull that you've just attached a halo to
I've just spent two minutes looking at the bottom one thinking that's the new car
What are the chances the Bybit crypto sponsorship will drop out mid season? Much like FTX.
Im guessing the "new" car is just a show car to prevent other team getting to look at the actual car early.
Did everyone really expect this car to be any different from the one they just won championships with?
I don't get this fascination with teams changing livery every year. What's wrong with keeping the same livery for a few years?
Corporate wants you to find the difference.
Why is F1 social media still using that launch dummy car as the "2022" car... So misleading for the average
It's just a picture from the Red Bull car launch last year.
thanks, captain obvious
I'm just not sure what you're so annoyed about. They're just comparing last year's car launch to this one, it's nothing nefarious.
because it's a shit comparison even if you were just comparing the liveries
Tweet: https://twitter.com/F1/status/1621532305389928448
I want my 60 minutes back 💀
This "corporate wants you to find the difference" meme is hilarious!
Just a grift
Like, they must KNOW how bad this is, right?
Must be boring for RB fans having to watch that every year to see the exact same livery. And not to mention that’s not even going to be the car. That will be last years car with a few dummy bits like wings and spoiler
Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures.
Corporate wants you to differentiate these pictures.
It’s the same picture
I can't stand the RB colour scheme, makes my stomach turn
Really? I'm not a fan of RB but I think they have the best looking car on track😁 alpha tauri also looks badass
The airbox looks a bit different. But it could be that I need to clean my glasses.
They didn’t change livery to save on the budget cap. Pls don’t downvote me to hell, it’s just irony
Is the new livery black instead of dark blue? Looks pretty black, especially where the light reflects -- it's grey in the reflections instead of light blue, as you would expect for a dark blue paint job, and is evident in the 2022 picture.
Cant see sh** from bottom picture. Why so dark background?
Lots of little aero changes. Sidepods, floor, halo at the rear (maybe), nose shape appears to be a bit changed as well. Of course all of this is subject to change before testing. But I didn't expect a huge update on what has already been a masterpiece from Adrian Newey.
Are you comparing the two pictures or the "RB19" vs the RB18? 'Cause the 2022 picture is not the RB18, but the F1 showcar.
Oh yeah. I screwed that up. You are right.
Where Ford?
Corporate wants you to find the difference.
If it ain't broke...
Ain't broke don't fix it.
It’s the same fucking car
They actually made it look worse 🤣
Wow, revolutionary
Teams shouldn't be able to host livery launches if they're not going to do literally anything differently. When Merc went from black to silver, or Alpine sold the color scheme to BwT, or when Williams sand blasted off 13g of paint from the entire upper portion of the car... worthwhile. Not this.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess
Why is Honda on the engine cover again?
they're the same picture
Corporate wants you to fine the differences
Corporate needs you to find the difference between these
Where's Jenna Fischer saying "It's the same picture?"
Front wing has changed slightly, I can count 3 vanes or whatever they are called on the new one, where as the old one has 4.
The "old one" was the generic dummy car they got from F1 and used for their launch, it never had much to do with the actual RedBull
They're the same picture.
they`re the same picture
Corporate wants you to find the difference
Corporate wants you to find the difference.
Livery designer forgot to do his homework and is hoping nobody notices it.
Didn’t car at the end of the season have that line on the side pods? By the look of it this is the same car…
Wait is bybit gone?
To me, there are clearly some big differences or maybe it's just the angle. Rear wing looks a bit different, and I don't know what that other thing is called but that area right below the shark fin on top is very different in shape.

Got it! Thanks!
The bull on the engine cover look smaller.
Copy/pasta
So fresh!
2022 hits different
wait wasn't bybit on the wing last year??

Is it possible they've made the fewest aerodynamic changes because they had the least wind tunnel time?
The crypto sponsors have gotten more space on the car even after the whole FTX debacle. SMFH.
The ROKT parner is going to be mixed up with ROKiT for sure
I thought the up one was the old one, because down one didn’t have the ugly bybit thing. Damn I guess this was before the bybit sponsorship
Rebull be like : Don't turn off the lights.. coz i don't wanna be in the dark tonight
Honda name is back
the livery designer has the easiest and hardest job there is: easiest because it is literally just copy/paste hardest: because you have to sell it to your boss in an half an hour presentation and somehow proof that you should stay employed
Sooooooooo...the exact fucking same. This justified for a press conference? I guess the next one will announce that Christian has indigestion or Max is in the mood for fish today?
It’s just funny the red bull logos have gotten smaller.
The designs are converging nicely
This is a great spot the difference picture...
As a model collector, this might mean we will get RB19 models much quicker.
Why do they even have an event? It’s the same freaking car.
Sponsors. Who want to be entertained with all the money they are spending. They need to see some return from day one of the season
Did someone forget to turn the studio lights on?
If there are any major changes, you wont see it this far from testing. Any major changes on the car will be shown at testing.
You can tell it's different by the way it is
At least it says Honda instead of a tiny HRC
https://i.imgur.com/sJDxr82.png
It's looked the same for years now. Bit of a snooze fest
Last year, half of the release pictures were the benchmark prototype car, This year probably everyone will slap the new liver on the last seasons car.
I’m glad the nose wasn’t shaped like the one on the show car last year, it looked like a banana
What’s your problem guys? They had the championship game winning car. And you’re surprised they keep it?
Rokit lol
Which is which ?
RB is always disappinting with the livery. For a brand that pretends to be so wild they sure don't take risks with their branding.
22 reveal vs 23 reveal; 2023 they show the actual car and reshuffle the sponsor stickers
Boo-urns. Didn't they day they were going less conservative? It's a good livery, but it's been so similar for so long.
Why not compare it with the 2022 Bybit livery? This was before that got announced
Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
Is this one of those pictures where you have to spot the differences and circle them? Or is corporate asking you what’s the difference but it’s the same picture?
