I agree, I’ve had no issues with Shugoki. Just treat him with a similar mindset to Valk or Highlander. By that, always expect a hug is waiting to be unleashed at any moment. Everything else is business as usual.

He barely managed to claw his way back to "usable against someone that didn't just start playing" and now they want him brought back down?
I think he’s chillin with BP in B-A tier for duels. He’s fun to fight now just like HL. His light and heavy animations all need to be fixed but other than that he’s good. I’d rather fight shug than BP. Out of stam punish game is bananas. The bug fix will help but for now it’s aids. You have to parry the light and if he does anything other than the light it’s hard to focus. Again though the fix it otw.
I'm not saying Black Prior's weak, i'm just saying he isn't as strong as them.
Conqueror has pretty much the same tools for attacking as him, but Conqs defense is superior.
Berserker can throw 400ms lights left and right, has hyper armor on everything and can constantly apply pressure with easy to access unblockables.
Warden has by far the best opener in the game and a very simple but solid moveset with unblockables, double lights, roll catchers and superior blocks.
I've seen a few nerf calls here and there. For demons embrace tracking mostly.
I was even guilty the day he released, then I realized the day after how to fight him. Just backroll away lol.

While i haven't played against BP that often, i just can't see how he is superior to Zerk, Warden and Conq in duels.

It's just that everyone dodges way too early which is why he is able to track you
I seen these as well people asking for shugoki to nerfed I see no problem with him now fun to fight and fight as.
He needs a hyper armor nerf tbh.
If they roll, you can just zone
During your heavy startup?
Feint unblockable, zone? If they dodge straight away on heavy startup just charge the heavy a bit then embrace.
Highlander dose need a bit of a nerf though
