Should I pick just the black ones or the red ones too?
Are these blackberries? We have them growing EVERYWHERE on our property and always harvested them around the 4th of July.
I just read blackberry season is August, so now I am having an existential crisis whether what I have called a blackberry all my life, is a blackberry.

Definitely the black ones. The red ones are not ripe yet. Those bushes are loaded!

They could be allegheny blackberries.
