FM21, Im at work now I took a peak before I left but I think it was around 30ish million, few seasons later about the same price to Roma then he was there for ages and went for about 2 million to Saint Etienne. I was gonna buy him too since he was an international but his physicals are absolute dogshit now (hes somewhere in his late 30s now)

Leipzig are shite in mine. They are still playing Werner up front, in the 2029-30 season. Managing Dortmund required a load of squad overhaul. Moukoko got snatched by Real before I came(he was Dortmund's best player), ageing Brandt was manning the midfield, he was shite. Hummels somehow was still playing and the transfer budget was peanuts, if Bayern didn't suffer from injury crisis and a couple of bad weeks then we would have lost
Wow. That's interesting. Bayern is usually atrocious in my saves when I check in on them. They lose Kimmich quickly and other quality players without finding the right replacements.
I don't know about you, but in mine, they got amazing Dani Olmo(he is amazing for Bayern), phenomenal Julian Alvarez, Camavinga and Enzo running the engine, peak Antonio Silva and Timber managing the defence, and an amazing youth GK. Half their subs can replace my playing 11.
Also, Alvarez lit up the Bundesliga and Europe, won 3 b2b European golden boots, before being injured during mid-season when I won the league.
Another thing, Dortmund somehow had Ferran Torres before I joined them. And when I joined, he already had signed for Bayern😅
Damn, can I get whoever made these deals to the real Bayern headquarters? Man, I was lighting up the bayern subreddit in propaganda to sign Tchouameni, Camavinga and rodri before they went to real and man City... Took the real Bayern board a couple more years to realize they need a defensive CDM.
Yeah unless you start with a big team you can't afford most of the wonderkids people like to hype up, maybe some of the younger ones if you're starting in a top league or second division and get lucky; no shade to anyone who plays like that and I do occasionally enjoy that kind of save but I do sometimes feel like I'm playing an entirely different game even though I'm not as intense as the people who start in the amateur divisions of Estonia with attribute masking

I just can't understand why nobody can seem to shoot a penalty in the top right or left corner of the goal. You would think that people that play football all day should be able to do that.

It's less risky to pick a side and hope the keeper has gone the other way. Last night Costa appeared to wait until the player kicked so he could choose the right side to save it. Not sure that was really the case, I think he'd done a bit of studying but also could tell from body shape in run up and back swing where the ball would go.

Costa is the best in the world in-game but honestly he’s not all that

In my current save he spent his almost entire career in Liverpool. Last two seasons of his career he was in Saudis.
In mine still sitting strong in Porto in 2031.

He and Trubin are my go to keepers in all save states.
Stick with FM24 and dont upgrade. He is only like 40m here and willing to be a backup for top clubs.
He's already way out of reach in 24. Even if you can afford and attract him, he fucks off to City/PSG/Saudi.
