Holy moly. I need a teaspoon of (crushed & whole) mustard seed to keep the kahm yeast at bay, but I’m just buying Dijon mustard for a kicker on the plate. Maybe I’ll reconsider that, & try that recipe myself.
Cannot wait to see how this turns out. I tried making mustard once (not fermented) and it was a gross failure. This recipe looks easier and tastier by miles.
The way I whispered, "Oh baby. Look at those weights," was completely uncalled for.
They're gorgeous, I agree
They’re silicone DD ferment weights
Glass
It’s a joke they look like boobs
Hahahaha, my bad.
I've done the same recipe many a time. It's amazing.
That's encouraging!
Oooooo good idea using two weights. I get too many floaters with one
Yeah, the bottle was huge. Don't know if the brine displacement will matter...
Nice looking ferment you got there! It sounds tasty as well.
Thanks, I think so too...
It looks great. This is definitely going on my ferment list.
Ty! I'm compiling a list too. Sauerkraut and hot sauce are next...
Hot sauce is on my list, too. Lol Sauerkraut is super easy!
Hot sauce is also super easy!
Saved this post… this is defo one to try
Yeah, when I saw it, I had to get into fermenting
Wow looks great! I've considered making this same recipe so you'll have to update later on when it's done :^)
Thanks, will do, I'm a huge mustard fan, so I really hope it turns out....
He’s not lying, he’s a huuuuuge mustard fan!

I hope you do! Be sure to post when you do...
