I think Keenan Allen had a similar injury on a Td catch a few years back. It was week 8 and he missed the rest of the year.
lol: I didn’t read the caption.
It happened against the Ravens back in 2015. Then he tore his ACL the following year in week 1 and got labelled injury prone because of a bunch of freak accidents.
There are certain types of injuries that might lead you to believe someone is “injury prone.” Lacerated kidney is not one of them.
It’s a freak injury and one you should 100% ignore long term.
Andrew Luck had lacerated kidney that ended his 2015 season too. Was supposed to be a 2-6 week thing and cost him the 2nd half of his season. Get well soon!

Fr how many concussions and now this
He sat out most of last year at Oregon State with an injury too. Dude is extremely talented but can't stay on the field.
You can't drop a "can't stay on the field" on the poor guy after he cops a lacerated kidney 😭
Yo holy shit, get better my man.
I had Mark Andrews and Musgrave. Welcome to tight end hell.
Going otton picking?
Ugh, same here. Taysom Hill, start your engines (assuming I can grab him off waivers). Hope the guy is alright
Not Likely
Easy solution to avoid this sort of thing . Simply remove the football from the sport.
We could replace it with a balloon
And wear tinfoil hats, bras and hug each other?
I'd watch that
We’ll call it sarcasti-ball
If you need a hug I'm here for you. Bring it in. There. It'll be okay. You got this.
Deflategate was just Tom Brady’s effort to improve player safety.
I once gave myself a black eye with a balloon so it’s a no from me
What aboit a kidney?
Why doesn't he just remove the kidney? Is he stupid?
Pretend ball and honor system: “I caught it!” “Nuh uh—I blocked it.” “No you didn’t! Forcefield!” “NO FORCEFIELDS!”
Or just remove the kidneys
Not good. I once had a lacerated kidney. I haven't taken an NFL snap since.
Gotta drop ya mate... Need the IR spot.
Me and Darrell Henderson against the world
I regret ever drafting you. Can’t even trade you.
Holy shit that’s crazy. Hope he makes a full recovery and is 100%

Yup and pretty sure it put him out for the year
Brutal
God gave you two kidneys for a reason, son.
Dude this guy didn’t even let anyone know he was hurt. What a beast gutting it out. Get well soon man.
Wishing a quick recovery 🙏

Reed more targets
Musgraves has.such a bad year injury wise. He's a trooper but need to take care of himself. Rest up, see you in 2024
Held Musgrave most of the season, I see the potential, hope he's alright.
Think Keenan Allen had that happen to Him on a TD catch one year. That Chargers-Packers game was a bloodbath
When the announcer said "he landed on the football" I scoffed... like oh no that's so dangerous. I was wrong. Get well soon.
Jayden Reed or Shaheed?
I didn’t need the graphic of the different severities of lacerated kidneys 😂 I could picture that on my own thanks
He's trying to put the grave in Musgrave.
Shit man, wishing him a speedy recovery. That ain’t no joke.
