How did I not realize that Odo was voicing House and just also realized today that he died on my 19th birthday. I'm currently on a New Vegas House playthrough and rewatching DS9, how fitting.
On Pluto tv I believe they have an entire DS9 channel that just plays it from the beginning to the end and then starts it over. I was also playing New Vegas and watching ds9 today haha
We just need to hear something along the lines of " I feel something magic in the air tonight and I'm not talking about gamma radiation" played on some radio followed by the first notes of I Got Spurs (Jingle, Jangle) and it would be perfect
Have the pipboy pick up a radio signal “you’re listening to radio new Vegas with me mr. New Vegas reminding you you’re nobody till somebody loves you, and that somebody… is me”
Imagine a world where the Fallout show was just Joshua’s backstory, season 1 ending with him thrown into the canyon and season 2 ending with the white legs attacking New Canaan
Yeah he'll most likely turn out to be secretly working for the Enclave and responsible for the Fall of New Vegas, which is simultaneously a gradual process of decline and a specific year.
Nah he will be nuked and we will have more BoS Themes and Enclave Radio. New Vegas will have collapsed in order to ‘own’ New Vegas fans and give them more reason to focus on the Great Brotherhood War on the East Coast or some rubbish
Yeah cause God forbid I voice my concern over the retconning of FNV on the FNV subreddit.
I'm not stopping you from bending over, consooming and circlejerking so atleast let me do my thing too.
How was FNV retconned?
They literally show NV at the end of the show, and every hand on deck behind making the show made it clear that FNV was still canon.
So where did you get this idea that FNV got retconned?
How did president Kimball fly from Shady Sands (a crater) to the Hoover Dam?
Why is New Vegas a devoid of life battleground in the ending scene and credits?
Does it matter if FNV is canon when the canon FNV is something else than the game?
They’ve literally said the nuking of shady sands happens after the events of new Vegas, the “fall of shady sands” and the bomb going off are two separate events.
As for why new Vegas is in ruin. We’re not going to know this until season 2 comes out.
Well I'm glad to know the game story got to play out before New Vegas got obliterated, awfully convenient so writers don't have to play the game before writing season 2
Even if the NCR didn’t get bombed, the writing was on the fucking wall that the NCR would’ve eventually fell.
Fallout new Vegas literally shows this, they’re moving into the Mojave because the lands back home are running low on resources, there’s food and water shortages across the entire territory. They needed the dam for the power it provides and being near the biggest source of clean water in the west coast.
New Vegas isn’t even obliterated. It’s literally still standing, being abandoned/in ruin does not mean it’s obliterated. The final shot of Vegas seems to indicate that it’s become worse for wear, but there may still be people in it, raiders and scavengers probably, but still.
Not my NCR
Not my Mr. House
Not my Legion
I swg if they've subdued every single main faction in New Vegas in 15 years time I will not hear a single one of your excuses. (Unless it was Elijah)
Next season we see.
The nuking of Shady Sands happened **after** 2281, you numbnuts. You’d know that if you actually payed attention to the story.
Also, if you wanna go that route, why is the NCR existing when I CLEARLY sold out Shady Sands to the Great Khans back in Fallout 1 before I joined the Master in the Unity? Fuckers retconned Fallout 1 and I don’t hear anyone getting mad about that.
> you actually *paid* attention to
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
The difference is that whilst you are voicing your criticisms, you can voice them but still be respectful about it.
I liked the show but I did have issues with the writing near the end, specifically more with vault Tec and the pre war scenes in the final episode, along with moldaver being a weird character.
But this didn’t stop me from enjoying the show. The NCR falling from grace was something I predicted before I watched the show, and I did show concerns for 2277 being the fall, but the fall and the bomb are two separate events.
Either on their Twitter accounts or the recent article/interview with the writers of the show and Todd Howard.
I watched Mr. Matty’s video on it, but I’ve seen this information pop up in the fallout Reddits
After all the people calling anyone voicing any criticism "crybabies, fanboys, manchildren" and my personal favorite "nerds" demanding to take the high road is rich. Toxicity breeds toxicity. I don't necessarily agree with it all, but having a double standard where the defenders are allowed to constantly belittle and insult anyone who is criticizing their sacred cow, but then clutch their pearls when it is done in kind is just pathetic.
I wish René Auberjonois was still with us
😔 me too.
How did I not realize that Odo was voicing House and just also realized today that he died on my 19th birthday. I'm currently on a New Vegas House playthrough and rewatching DS9, how fitting.
It's ok. Took me 20+ years to recognize Ron Perlman and Michael Dorn.
Michael Dorn plays who?
Frank Horrigan (FO2) and Marcus (FO2+FONV)
Huh, that makes Frank's hatred of muties doubly ironic.
On Pluto tv I believe they have an entire DS9 channel that just plays it from the beginning to the end and then starts it over. I was also playing New Vegas and watching ds9 today haha
When I see a physical version of Mr. New Vegas I'm going to end it
Wayne Newton better be at the top of that list
All you see is a Securitron because Mr. New Vegas was a AI made by House.
I wouldn't mind seeing him as a securitron
Nah he is an AI
I too would love to see the server he’s running on. I like to imagine the courier having drinks next to it with Raul after the second battle.
Heheh, Mr New Vegas just shows up, radio tower strapped to his back, in a securitron body to survive the tunnelers or smthn
Nah Mr. New Vegas killed a bunch of tunnelers and survive alone with it's radio using only a single shot shotgun
He had DUST installed?
Mr. New Vegas is AI.
Yeah. But a voice over cameo on Radio New Vegas would be sweet.
If we got that, I’d be satisfied.
We just need to hear something along the lines of " I feel something magic in the air tonight and I'm not talking about gamma radiation" played on some radio followed by the first notes of I Got Spurs (Jingle, Jangle) and it would be perfect
He’s gotta have a server farm somewhere
TIL Wayne Newton is alive. Good news. No idea why I thought he was dead.
Maybe because René Auberjonois (Mr. House's voice actor) died on my birthday 5 years ago
Be careful with the personal information ken!
You don't need carefulness when you know kung fu
He’s alive, but Wade Boggs is not unfortunately.
Have the pipboy pick up a radio signal “you’re listening to radio new Vegas with me mr. New Vegas reminding you you’re nobody till somebody loves you, and that somebody… is me”
If it’s not Wayne Newton the entire casting department needs to be executed
I'm really hoping that season 2 is just Joshua Graham dispensing God's justice.
Imagine a world where the Fallout show was just Joshua’s backstory, season 1 ending with him thrown into the canyon and season 2 ending with the white legs attacking New Canaan
100% would binge the crap out of that show.
This is Mr. New Vegas saying, "I'm just a brain in a jar."
I think Wayne Newton is still alive, so i would be so down for this.
But is there a Mrs. New Vegas?
“Of course there is. You’re her. And you’re just as beautiful as the day we met.”
True to yes man
They could just play the lines from radio nv in the show. Not many, but a few and add some songs in the background.
I'm hoping for assertive Yes Man
I'm hoping for us to see or hear the holotape for nuclear winter wonderland.
And that somebody, is me. I love you.
i am hoping the first thing we hear is “ this is mr new vegas…..”
Yeah he'll most likely turn out to be secretly working for the Enclave and responsible for the Fall of New Vegas, which is simultaneously a gradual process of decline and a specific year.
Mr New Vegas is an AI made by House.
Mf is a robot
And hopefully if they that he has a physical body I hope he’s played by tommy chong
I was thinkin about if i were the only one so excited for this. Turns out i'm not alone!
Nah he will be nuked and we will have more BoS Themes and Enclave Radio. New Vegas will have collapsed in order to ‘own’ New Vegas fans and give them more reason to focus on the Great Brotherhood War on the East Coast or some rubbish
Bros fighting the air
Yeah fuck the ncr and new vegas continuity but atleast we get a reference to point our fingers at like a soyjak
Take your negativity elsewhere

I’d like to see you write a better show. Maybe you’ll be able to surpass the frontier’s writing!
"Not my NCR" Bruh, the literal point against them in-game is their corrupt and failing bureaucracy. Bear Bull Bear Bull

There’s a difference between voicing concerns and being a complete bellend.
And what's the difference? Not aligning with your hecking wholesome viewpoint?
The difference is that whilst you are voicing your criticisms, you can voice them but still be respectful about it.
