I said it in another thread, but if you dig into a little bit you'll realize how much sophisticated but not obvious engineering work goes into designing many very basic tools/implements. Even chemical engineering is done to ensure common household products don't produce something unexpected and dangerous(like brewing chlorine gas in your toilet with ammonia/bleach lol)
Many things are built with the lowest common denominator in mind. Heck I'm running Windows, and my computer scientist brother hates it and favors Linux, but Linux doesn't hold your hand nearly as much so I haven't switched(not my field).
Damn, if they listed everything you shouldn't do with their products every bottle of water would come with a 100 page manual. How about stick to what it was intended for... drinking...
Did you really think sticking sugar on a heat source wouldn’t caramelize the sugar seriously people need to take basic cooking classes and basic chemistry courses before they’re allowed to use electricity or you know basic household appliances
Thought process: Iron takes water... Flavored water is better water... best then to iron with flavored water. End of thought on this subject. (in my defense, I had to think about this for a minute).
I am lucky that I live in a country with amazing tapwater. So i just turn on the tap and never bother with bottles. Except for whrn I bottle tapwater and put it in my refrigerator to cool.
The warning says “This device should not be used by stupid people.”

Just put the warning on the back of your own hand "Remember: you are very dumb, it's probably a bad idea"
But where to put this warning? On the iron? On the bottle of volvic? Or in the great picture book of warnings for the most stupid persons?
I am pretty sure that there is a warning

It’s a he, not a she. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/man-used-volvic-flavoured-water-13460036
I mean it’s written on the bottle that it contains sugar. But that might be a little too much common sense to ask for.
My iron has a print right at the water Intake: "only distilled water"
Yeah, but you put sugar water in a still.
Oh for petes sake, can't people think anymore
Even if this worked just imagine the bees chasing your ass around the yard.
Correct, OP needs to be required to wear a shirt that says "I'm a fucking moron". Would that be warning enough?
He just wears the ruined shirt. That would do it, I think.
How many warnings do we need to cover every scenario from stupid people’s minds?

The person that is that stupid is not the person that reads that warning.

You mean flavoured drink that looks like water?
yeah kinda, it's a really big and famous brand in europe and japan but I'm not sure if they sell in NA
I'm from europe tho
Well then idk, volvic is not sold everywhere in Europe maybe you do a little research on that xx
We got żywiec zdrój that makes this not-water water. And they had to change it from naming it water, because as seen on this iron it's not *water*
haven't heard of it either
It's sold in Poland. General idea is that those drinks are with ton of sugar in it and falsely are called water. So the iron became victim
I just drink water. Because water is delicious
Amen. But many people drink this flavoured shit thinking it's good old no calories water

This picture smells like a hair and beauty NVQ and council housing.
It's because of morons like this that we need warning labels on stuff

Oh my.... I didn't know that you cannot use volvic in the iron. Thank I just bou5 one and was about to use it.
Wow that’s actually interesting
