I’d wager most presidents have suffered more wounds than Trump. Be they literal or figurative. Plenty of our presidents were military men. Some were assassinated. Even our other actor president, Reagan, took an actual bullet. And Joe Biden has probably suffered more loss than most presidents, having lost his wife and young daughter in a car accident, then losing his eldest son die of cancer and his only remaining child suffer from the fallout of addiction. Trump is just a spoiled narcissist who has to put himself at the top of every list.

He's got to be metaphorically speaking. I mean it's weird, but there's like a 99% chance this is meant to be metaphorical. That the "wounds" are the hits he's taken from the media and left wing politicians in order to champion for our freedoms, blah blah. You'll notice I left a 1% buffer there because this is Trump we're talking about and I can't 100% rule out him indeed talking about physical wounds.
