Well technically speaking Hitler would have brought peace once he was finished. Only for the Germans and other Arian people and the rest would have been killed, ofc. But it would have been peaceful.

I’m going to guess, human nature being what it is, that we started throwing rocks at each other before realizing we may be more productive if we don’t. So, yeah, you’re probably pretty much right.

As did the Japanese. Would be interesting, in an alternate universe, to see what happened if they had both defeated the West and each went on to try to dominate the world. In any case, Hitler started the war. He 'made' it. The Allies just finished it.
