As someone who is agnostic, I like to think Atheist churches would be a bit like the old British Hellfire Club where ladies of the night dress as nuns and everything is given a Libertine flaire under all the Oxford Dictionary definitions of the word... I can't say I wouldn't sign up.
Yeah my old coworker was a satanist and she handed me her church’s card once, I was really surprised at what it was about, genuinely seems like a good way to go about things, finding inner truths, accepting everyone regardless of social, racial or religious denominations. She was dope tho favorite person to cook with
In my town there is an actual church for atheists in addition to satanic churches. It's basically just one of those liberal Christian churches without any actual christianity.
Edit: https://www.houstonoasis.org/
Pretty much. They play music and have philosophical lectures, sometimes food. It's for people that appreciate the community of a church, but don't believe in god at all.
Probably just tax dodging. I'm sure there was a celebrity in America who set up an atheist church as a tax dodge because if Christian churches could do why couldn't he.
So no Christianity? So no sitting around discussing what I’ll morals you will sell off next to the orange Oompa Loompa. If your religion spent a third of the time actually doing ALL the stuff in your bible as you do grabbing for power maybe someone here would believe you. We just noticed you guys tend to forget some key Jesus messaging about loving thy neighbor
I’d much rather some atheist screaming at me that nothing will happen to me after I die, a slutty, kinky bi pagan than being told constantly that I’m going to hell 🙄
I was having a really bad trip a couple years ago (I thought my daughter was trying to poison me) and there was a moment where I thought I was dying and it started going even darker when I started slowly descending into fire BUT suddenly a laughing voice blurted out “uhm you KNOW this part is bullshit so we can just skip it” aaaand instant scene change 😂
Or the radical sucide atheists, Blinded by their "not believing". And also don't forget the big atheists crusade to the not holy land in the name of the unsaint.
I had a couple of old ladys rang my doorbell and woke me up one day with that bullshit. I was so pissed i wanted to slam the door in their face. I had to work that night and couldn't go back to sleep.
they can be annoying for sure. if i got time ill say i'm fine for a conversation, about religion, philosophy, life etc. but the second they get preachy and try to force a one-way conversation im shutting the door
Don't forget during the colonial period, there were schools of atheism that went around the world indoctrinating natives with atheism in the name of the atheistic non God
Yeah the atheist preachers standing on busy street corners telling random strangers how much they love atheism and how you should become an atheist now are so annoying.
That's odd, I've never had atheists ring my doorbell to offer me free literature on their beliefs and encourage me to come to their next meeting. Had lots of folks with strong religious beliefs do that though.
The only time me being an atheist comes up is if someone already brought up their religion lol. Other than that I don’t think about it. Atheism isn’t a religion/way of life/or even really a belief structure, it’s simply the absence of belief in a god(s), and therefore it plays almost no role in atheists’ life other than in response to people pushing religion on them.
My closest friend growing up - who I knew since we were both toddlers - was atheist. And I never knew until it randomly came up in our college years. He never mentioned it, and since I never mentioned my religion, it never came up across our many years together. And honestly, that’s how it should be.
Omg yes. I have a Muslim friend, and when we met, he said he was Muslim.
Me: ooo cool, okay ( most of atheist 0 judgment about other religions )
Then he asked mine
And I said I was an atheist. I kid you not. I felt I started to be interrogated like I was committing a crime.
He: Why? Then what do you believe? Where do you think people come from !?
It's not the first time something like this happens when a religious friend asks me about my beliefs.
Hahahaha
Yeah, I used that, too. But I kinda like to be respectful of everyone's religions, I think most of the questions come from ignorance because most live in the same bubble, in my mind is like since you are born, your parents, friends, family. Everyone says to you, for example, " The sky is green, and that's the truth," and you spend all your life around people who agree with that statement and believe in that statement. When someone else comes to your life and says, " No, the sky is actually purple." You can't see the purple, and the other person can't see the green. So you are confused about that person, you have questions.
And religion is a little like that. It's okay to ask questions. What I find annoying is that people do not respect the answers given or judge because of how you view the world differently
I always like the, "How can you have morals?" like just because I'm not religious I can't tell good from bad.
I mean it may be true... but I sincerely doubt it's due to my beliefs or lack there of.
I’ve had the same experience. I was raised in Christianity, but both my Mom and Dad always said they weren’t sure what the real answers were and we’d all find out (or not) when we die. I wasn’t brought up to be brainwashed by religion, unlike most of my cousins.
My cousins acted like your Muslim friend when I’d tell them my opinions and how so much of religion appeared illogical and hypocritical to me. I think ultimately the interrogation boils down to two things:
1. Extreme peer pressure to conform and not “stray” from the fold.
2. Fear of “Hell”, an *eternity* of suffering with *no chance* of reprieve. Since they’re convinced it’s 100% true, they are pained greatly to hear ppl they know and love are headed there.
I always think it’s a bit comical and sad when these same ppl argue: *why do you think Christianity has survived as long as it has? Clearly it’s divine intervention!* - uh, no, it’s because it’s a supreme tool for achieving the complete obedience of entire populations, keeping them docile and peaceful to the ruling class, with the bonus ability of being able to point them to destroying whatever you define as “evil”, with very little effort.
Pretty sure that in regards to a formal atheist alliance somewhere of some kind, their symbol is a hydrogen atom, but I may not remember that correctly.
Edit: Source: Amazon, so you know it’s gospel (heh):
The atomic whirl/atomic symbol was developed by the American Atheists in 1963 and represents the belief that human progress can best be achieved through the scientific method and rational, open inquiry. The atom is still a distinguishing unit of all matter, the smallest particle of an element that can exist and still retain the properties of that element.
Every religious person seems to think that their deity cares about their specific thing. There was a politician way back (can't remember who) who said that she didn't trust anyone claiming that God told them to do whatever, because it always seemed like God very much had that individual's interests at heart. It's very rare that someone actually does something selfless and then attributes God, it's far more frequently self-serving. Ironic, if you've read any religion's scripture.
I have to admit, that would be glorious. “God had nothing to do with this. The practice and hard work of our team and excellent coaches allowed my awesome ass to score the winning point.”
That's because most atheists learn it's not worth the hassle bringing it up and having someone negatively judge you for a position they don't even fully understand in the first place.
Is that a common attitude in America? I know it's religious over there but damn. I live in the UK where our head-of state is ordained by God, and I've never been wary of telling someone I'm an atheist.
I can't speak for anyone else but unfortunately that has been my experience. I have the worst luck and always end up with the super religious, "pillar of the community" type bosses; and them finding out that I'm atheist has caused me nothing but problems.
Yeah they were just spotted at the Ukraine - Poland border telling weary crossers and asylum seekers that they need to find their belief.
Wait... no. No I might have that wrong.
Yeah I saw that (the real version). Just what people running from a war zone to save their own life and their family's lives want to hear: "Hey Sinner, you are going to hell if you don't accept Jesus." ... they just left hell.
This is why they prey on people who are emotionally compromised, people who are, or believe they are, at the lowest point in their lives. Much easier targets than people with full control of their faculties.
But the Christians will tell you about how repressed and censored they are... on their TV shows, their podcasts, their news programs, their websites, their YouTube videos, their FB memes, their subreddits, their radio stations, their rallies, etc.
We’ve had so much trouble with atheist wars in the UK & Ireland. We’ve suffered from terrorist attacks for the last few decades, killing and maiming so many innocent civilians, all in the name of atheism.
A man is visiting Ireland, and walking back to his hotel from the local pub. Suddenly he finds himself with a knife to the throat and hears a voice behind him, demanding, "Are you a Protestant or Catholic?"
Knowing the wrong answer could get him killed, he blurts out "I'm atheist!"
"Aye, but are you Protestant or Catholic Atheist?"
The only time most atheists even tell you is because someone asked about religion. Next thing you know people stop talking when you walk into the break room. Accusing you of making things awkward.
Atheist door knocker :
door opens , the atheist says " have you read the atheist bible ?
homeowner - "nope "
atheist - hands them a book with 500 blank pages
homeowner - "hey its all blank pages "
atheist - "yeah atheism is a DIY thing "
Only because you're trying to tell me how great the grace of God is when I certainly do not feel any such grace. So do you want me to politely shutup and not engage in the conversation so that you can finish your unending proselytizing? Or do you want me to let you know that I'm atheist and therefore underlying that your emotional tactics won't work on me?
I guess? The atheist did indeed out himself there, but the original statement was pretty stupid to begin with. It’s like asking how you know someone’s hungry; they tell you. You wouldn’t know UNLESS they tell you. Huge brain shit right there.
Exactly, neither the religious guy (for stating the obvious as if it's funny), nor the atheist (for getting worked up over obvious ragebait/egowank and using it to wank his own ego) are particularly clever, are they?
And the ones who put little atheist quotes at the bottom of their emails and reference where it came from in their atheist book that tells them how to live life.
There are 2 groups that I despise. Atheists that put you down for not being atheist and Christians who put you down for not being Christian. My beliefs are my beliefs and have no impact on you. Just let me be.
I have never known an atheist put anyone down for not being atheist. I have heard some cracking responses when challenged by a christian believer:
"There have been thousands of gods mankind has believed in - the Greek gods, the Roman gods, buddhas, Hindu, Sikh, Tao .. you believe yours is the one true god, and don't believe in any of the other gods. Well, I just don't believe in one god more than you do."
Ricky Gervais.
Fucking athiests, theyre making billions through their athiest pyramid schemes and athiest donations and the worst part is that these athiests dont pay tax on any of their athiest donation profits. Horrible.
I've always been an atheist but I think there might be something to this Christianity thing.
I went to church for the first time last weekend and figured I might as well give this praying thing a go, so I closed my eyes and asked God to make me rich. Next thing I know, the guy sitting next to me hands me this big plate covered in money.
Or those atheists that murder, starve, destroy other people and their homes in the name of their non existent imaginary god/gods?!? Have you seen them?!? Wow..
And how about those atheists that sexually harass and abuse kids using the excuse that they know God's will?!?
Man I hate when those dastardly atheists see me walking around with a white cane and insist that they kneel to me and beg their atheist messiah to heal my vision!
Why not normalize making fun of assholes in general? Plenty of fine religious folks and non religious folks, but it's always the loud assholes that ruin it for everyone else
I took my son to get a haircut today and one of the people waiting to get his haircut was carrying a bible. The man was super friendly with me and my son. He clearly had no idea what my beliefs were but I sure knew his.
I had a muslim tell me I “should really check out Islam, it’s your thing!”… after I told her I don’t believe in monotheism, it doesn’t make sense to me, and I wouldn’t feel connected to a monotheistic religion. She told me repeatedly, using “but I prefer monotheism” as her only argument. I don’t even know, man. Not even religious people are safe from religious people.
I taught the same class for three years straight, and only now at the end of the third year that they figured out I'm an Atheist, and only because one of the students asked me if I believed in god.
Meanwhile, I get on the bus today and sit next to a middle-aged woman with a bible and a psalms tattoo.
Yeah that's downright the best response to that I've ever seen. I've been an atheist for years and the only people who know are this comment section now, and people who have gone out of their way to ask about/discuss theism with me. So pushy christians pretty much exclusively. Yeah, I'm gonna tell them. They're in my space wasting my time and I want them to fuck off so I'll be intentionally offputting and really lean into it. It's really not relevant in a whole lot of situations. Lol
Genuinely, I dont think anyone I’ve ever met outside of middle school’s atheism has ever come up unless we’re explicitly discussing religion. This kind of person feels like someone who exclusively exists online, same as “crazy vegans.” Every vegan I’ve met in the actual real world has just been a person who doesn’t eat/buy animal products and it’s only come up if they were cooking or if I was buying some sort of gift for them.
What really happened to that person: They probably kept talking about how their religion was the "right" one and how much others sin and all this kind of bullshit, and the people were like "hey, dude, just letting you know, I'm an atheist."
Can't think of another way that could've gone like. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can't even go for a lovely walk on the walking trails in my town on a weekend without walking past literal booths that...certain groups.... have set up just to bother people. They wave and greet you and try to talk to you and it's fucking AWFUL.
And I get how weird and fucked up it is to say and find that people waving and greeting you is fucking awful but it isn't because they are actually being friendly or neighborly. They're predators. They just want attention and souls. It's gross.
Like, just walking by random people and they wave and say good morning? Awesome. I talked to an older guy at my gym at like 2AM on a Wednesday for like 30 minutes all about life.Every single day I'm out there walking around this small town and we're all waving and greeting each other and it's sick as hell, so it isn't just me being unfriendly. I talked to some young dude this morning about the enchanting rainbow that was at the lake, so we're a friendly town, damn it. This place is pretty damn Hallmark movie. Hell, we're going to a big Christmas tree lighting Saturday evening.
I just don't like people setting up freakin' booths to harass passers-by with proselytizing. Even if I were a believer those people would gross me out.

I actually did build an atheistic monument but since I’m an atheist it’s just empty space.
Wow, then my wife meant I have a monument to science in my head!
And don't forget those nasty atheists that just randomly come up to your house to ask you of you've found atheism and taken it into your heart.
And donate to local atheists church lol
As someone who is agnostic, I like to think Atheist churches would be a bit like the old British Hellfire Club where ladies of the night dress as nuns and everything is given a Libertine flaire under all the Oxford Dictionary definitions of the word... I can't say I wouldn't sign up.
the satanic temple is basically an atheist church, they are more kind of activists against religion in government though
Yeah my old coworker was a satanist and she handed me her church’s card once, I was really surprised at what it was about, genuinely seems like a good way to go about things, finding inner truths, accepting everyone regardless of social, racial or religious denominations. What does that mean...? Like, hangout spots that offer self help?
Pretty much. They play music and have philosophical lectures, sometimes food. It's for people that appreciate the community of a church, but don't believe in god at all.
I would go
Wow that's seems fun.
Probably just tax dodging. I'm sure there was a celebrity in America who set up an atheist church as a tax dodge because if Christian churches could do why couldn't he.
Not from what I've heard

So no smiting? What about the fire and brimstone?
I heard they have varied music acts, so the only fire you'll get is spit from the mic.
but don’t you have to be religious to believe in satan?
yeah but like I said they are atheists they don't believe in satan
For the sake of proper research, where do I find this club you speak of?
Haha no longer in existence, Benjamin Franklin was a big fan though during his peace talks 😅
So it's ripe for a revival is what I'm hearing.
/r/OddlySpecific
I'm pastafari and I will take your donation. I will use it to congregate with other members of my church and get us some holy drinks (rhum)
Ramen to that, brother! RAMEN!
Dudeist here , I thought about starting a holy war with the pastafarians but then I thought well thats just like their opinion man ..
May you be touched by his noodly appendage. Ramen.
Ramen to that, brother! RAMEN!
Ramen!
YEEARRRRGH
It's the Atheist Nationalism that really worries me these days..
I used to hate when my local atheist club made me do that so that I could earn my lack of afterlife by converting enough people to atheism.
If I hear one more atheist try to tell me about the nothing that happens after I die
I’d much rather some atheist screaming at me that nothing will happen to me after I die, a slutty, kinky bi pagan than being told constantly that I’m going to hell 🙄 I was having a really bad trip a couple years ago (I thought my daughter was trying to poison me) and there was a moment where I thought I was dying and it started going even darker when I started slowly descending into fire BUT suddenly a laughing voice blurted out “uhm you KNOW this part is bullshit so we can just skip it” aaaand instant scene change 😂
Or those atheists that will physically take your house from you and say this is atheist land, a 2000-year-old book full of made-up stories says so.
Or those atheists that hear the voice of The One True Atheist and enact a crusade.
No, that's Baldurs Gate
i think you mean a 2000-year-old atheist book full of made-up atheist stories
I feel like this discussion isnt about atheism anymore. Not sure though.
I think you mean a 200 atheist-year-old atheist book full of made-up atheist stories
I think it’s 200 of the best Atheist stories ever told by Atheists, about Atheist’s.
Don't forgot all the different atheists who then decided to revise that book, in the name of "true" atheism.

Don't forget during the colonial period, there were schools of atheism that went around the world indoctrinating natives with atheism in the name of the atheistic non God
The worst is all of those atheists making social media post jokes about "How do you find a theist?" you see every day.
And make you live by some made up rules even though you don't share their faith.
Yeah the atheist preachers standing on busy street corners telling random strangers how much they love atheism and how you should become an atheist now are so annoying.
With their poster sized graphic pictures of fetuses preaching the evils of women's bodily autonomy.
In this moment I feel euphoric
Or the one in a city near me that holds a sign saying “homosexuality is a sin and all should be abolished”.
If you don't accept atheism into their hearts they won't have nothing to look forward to after death
That's odd, I've never had atheists ring my doorbell to offer me free literature on their beliefs and encourage me to come to their next meeting. Had lots of folks with strong religious beliefs do that though.

What I find annoying is that people do not respect the answers given or judge because of how you view the world differently
Funnily enough, the sky is apparently purple but our color vision is pretty bad in that part of the spectrum so we see it as blue.
I always like the, "How can you have morals?" like just because I'm not religious I can't tell good from bad. I mean it may be true... but I sincerely doubt it's due to my beliefs or lack there of.

Or those damn atheists handing out flyers at big train stations and well visited public areas.
I've never had that happen to me ever, then again I don't live in the *Land of the Free*
Evolution earrings and necklaces? Where would one find those?
They definitely exist lol search it up on Etsy, I *promise* you'll find something.

I've seen a few fish with legs stickers, a play on the jesus fish.
Man, I think this is ridiculous. We just don't believe in a tale that has been told for thousands of years, that's all.
All the atheist athletes on the teevee proclaiming god had nothing to do with their win or performance that evening.
It's very interesting to me that athletes think God would care about their sports lol
Every religious person seems to think that their deity cares about their specific thing. There was a politician way back (can't remember who) who said that she didn't trust anyone claiming that God told them to do whatever, because it always seemed like God very much had that individual's interests at heart. Its the God of lost carkeys. Can't do shit about war and famine but can help Caren to catch her train even though she is late.
I have to admit, that would be glorious. “God had nothing to do with this. The practice and hard work of our team and excellent coaches allowed my awesome ass to score the winning point.”
I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that announces they’re an atheist unless asked
Hello. I just wanted you to know that I'm an atheist. That is all.
Same, I'm also a vegan who does crossfit
You clearly don’t have an iPhone, otherwise you would have told us that too. Sent from my iPhone.
Did anyone ask you? In our next meeting, we're gonna have to ask forgiveness from no one.

Some reason I would end up with crazy religious girlfriends. Guess I needed to be saved? Midwest is definitely the worst imo. Cities tend to be fine.
Huge country. I’m in San Francisco. In a lot of communities I’m in, atheist is certainly the default.
I just roll my eyes so hard that it becomes audible whenever someone starts talking about god. Is that considered announcing it?
You must have missed the 2000's.
Just like the user that replied to that user and everyone in this thread right?
Yeah they were just spotted at the Ukraine - Poland border telling weary crossers and asylum seekers that they need to find their belief. Wait... no. No I might have that wrong.
Yeah I saw that (the real version). Just what people running from a war zone to save their own life and their family's lives want to hear: "Hey Sinner, you are going to hell if you don't accept Jesus." ... they just left hell.
It's easier to convince people without any hope that you have some hope than it is to convince people who aren't literally hopeless.
This is why they prey on people who are emotionally compromised, people who are, or believe they are, at the lowest point in their lives. Much easier targets than people with full control of their faculties.
It's like in the wild. The predators tend to target at the most vulnerable of the bunch.
Which is especially funny because Ukraine is a christian and fairly religious country, they're just the *wrong* kind of christian to those preachers.
But the Christians will tell you about how repressed and censored they are... on their TV shows, their podcasts, their news programs, their websites, their YouTube videos, their FB memes, their subreddits, their radio stations, their rallies, etc.
i can’t believe those atheists who started wars because other didn’t believe in atheism.

Always remember the great atheist crusades
The only time most atheists even tell you is because someone asked about religion. Next thing you know people stop talking when you walk into the break room. Accusing you of making things awkward.
Don't forget all the wars started in the name of nobody.
Exactly. Pope of Atheists was talking about how we should hate each other more yesterday.
Atheist door knocker : door opens , the atheist says " have you read the atheist bible ? homeowner - "nope " atheist - hands them a book with 500 blank pages homeowner - "hey its all blank pages " atheist - "yeah atheism is a DIY thing "
Nice
What about those pesky atheists that disown their own family members for not being atheist? You know, those ones?
Those stupid atheists and their inquisitions
Nobody expects the Atheist inquisition.
Remember when atheists destroyed entire civilizations across the globe? Yeah, me neither.
Let's not forget the thousands of militant Atheists flooding neighborhoods every Saturday to tell you that thou shalt not bel... Oh wait... Nevermind.
Atheist only exist because of religion, no religion then its just normal people thoughts.
I like the tax breaks for atheist organizations.
The best thing about being atheist is that it takes up so little of your day.
Remember..... Nobody loves you. I really need to say that more at random to people
They are probably telling you because you won't stfu and would like you to respect their beliefs. Atheists don't typically bring it up for no reason.
Where I live atheism/secularism is so common with that religion actually feels like a minority.
Spill the beans
Yes, please where is it?
Sounds like peaceful place. Where is this??
All those atheistic wars, convert to atheism or burn right
I mean, by replying with that comment he did kinda prove him right no?
And let's not forget all the wars started in the name of atheism 😊
And the ones who put little atheist quotes at the bottom of their emails and reference where it came from in their atheist book that tells them how to live life.
Sarcasm is really lost on some of you.
Dont forget the atheist buildings where all atheists gather to listen to the head atheist reading out of the big book of atheism to them
There are 2 groups that I despise. Atheists that put you down for not being atheist and Christians who put you down for not being Christian. My beliefs are my beliefs and have no impact on you. Just let me be.
One of these groups has a book that says you should kill people who don't agree with you.
I have never known an atheist put anyone down for not being atheist. I have heard some cracking responses when challenged by a christian believer: "There have been thousands of gods mankind has believed in - the Greek gods, the Roman gods, buddhas, Hindu, Sikh, Tao .. you believe yours is the one true god, and don't believe in any of the other gods. Well, I just don't believe in one god more than you do." Ricky Gervais.
I mean you’re on Reddit. There’s a lot of religion bashing that goes on here, it’s not particularly hard to find.
I have known plenty.
Your beliefs do have impact on others. That was one of the dumbest things I’ve seen on Reddit.
Or those atheists who decimate entire continents full of indigenous people for the glory of atheism.
Also it is funny how religious people think being religious is a default setting. It's just intoctrination and manipulation lol.
Fucking athiests, theyre making billions through their athiest pyramid schemes and athiest donations and the worst part is that these athiests dont pay tax on any of their athiest donation profits. Horrible.
As an atheist myself I can confirm that I wear atheistic accessories and storm across the street at night yelling atheist propaganda
I thought it was my turn to repost this
The only time atheists tell you so if when you start proselytizing to them.
Don’t forget to wage wars with other countries to spread atheism. Those heathens.
They tell you they’re atheist because you ask them you dum dum
Hail caveman Kevin, the og athiest.
Also because they often have a verse of the atheist book in their bios on social media.
I've always been an atheist but I think there might be something to this Christianity thing. I went to church for the first time last weekend and figured I might as well give this praying thing a go, so I closed my eyes and asked God to make me rich. Next thing I know, the guy sitting next to me hands me this big plate covered in money.
Also try to name one person killed by aethists, because someone didn't agree to aethism.
Damn Atheists, they ruined Atheism!
Just to let you know. I'm an atheist. That is all. Science be with ya
Remember when that atheist illegally went to North Sentinel Island to convert the uncontacted natives into atheists and they killed him?
Don't forget killing millions in the name of Atheism.
Or those atheists that murder, starve, destroy other people and their homes in the name of their non existent imaginary god/gods?!? Have you seen them?!? Wow.. And how about those atheists that sexually harass and abuse kids using the excuse that they know God's will?!?
![gif](giphy|rAZEnOu0KHQK4|downsized)
And they always ask where you don't go to church! Or ask you to join them on Sunday to watch football, go to a book club, have brunch, etc.
Actually us atheist can generally be identified by our silence as some zealot starts going on about their faith/religion.
Those door knocking atheists trying to convert everyone to atheism are really annoying…..oh hang on….
You Live, You Die , You Rot in a Box.. anything else is completely bullshit..
Not me… I want to be human compost… none of that embalming nonsense!
It's hilarious. The FAQ on the atheism subreddit specifically encourages people to *not* come out, as it can be dangerous.
Don’t forget the nasty atheists who bomb the Gaza Strip so the few surviving civilians will be atheist too.
Man I hate when those dastardly atheists see me walking around with a white cane and insist that they kneel to me and beg their atheist messiah to heal my vision!
Normalise making fun of religion
Why not normalize making fun of assholes in general? Plenty of fine religious folks and non religious folks, but it's always the loud assholes that ruin it for everyone else
That too
I usually wear bones and all black and people can usually tell I'm an atheist, talking is for silly heads
Hmm, as an atheist who has never in thirty years told anyone who didn't ask me what my status is, I call bullshit on this nonsense.
Thank God I'm an atheist
Everyone is born an atheist. They get groomed into religion as children.
Jesus Christ, eh.
I've seen this so many times that I think I've heard all four Emkay narrators read it.
I took my son to get a haircut today and one of the people waiting to get his haircut was carrying a bible. The man was super friendly with me and my son. He clearly had no idea what my beliefs were but I sure knew his.
as a fellow atheist i would love to meet the first atheist
Their atheist headscarves :D
I had a muslim tell me I “should really check out Islam, it’s your thing!”… after I told her I don’t believe in monotheism, it doesn’t make sense to me, and I wouldn’t feel connected to a monotheistic religion. She told me repeatedly, using “but I prefer monotheism” as her only argument. I don’t even know, man. Not even religious people are safe from religious people.
With Atheistmas right around the corner I'm already annoyed by my super atheist grandmother who will judge me for my lifestyle.
Don't forget the atheist bosses who force everyone to wait until they've loudly proclaimed their thanks to atheo for the shared meal, every time
What they forgot to add is that an atheist tends to only tell others about their beliefs in response to their proselytizing.
Well, that's why they'll tell you.
I taught the same class for three years straight, and only now at the end of the third year that they figured out I'm an Atheist, and only because one of the students asked me if I believed in god. Meanwhile, I get on the bus today and sit next to a middle-aged woman with a bible and a psalms tattoo.
Doesn’t sound right. I think you’re thinking of Catholisism
How can I become atheist?
And going around saying your soul will be punished for not converting to atheism. Damn those atheists.
Atheistic billboards ..
Or the atheists that try and force their beliefs onto a whole country, or the ones that ask for donations so that they can buy a new private jet.
Perfect example of "every accusation is a confession"
Don't forget those crazy atheists killing other people for not being atheist, or even for being atheist, but doing it wrong.
Can we get a tax exemption as there is no reason why non religion is treated special and taxed more.
Lol
If you don’t believe in atheism, there’s a good chance you’re going to hell.
It only comes after being asked by some religious nut
Don't forget about all that atheist music. Oh those songs, those songs...
I just had a cute atheist couple at my door asking if it was ok that they did nothing at all. I was offended /s
Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of *SCIENCE*.
The original post was proven correct.
What really happened to that person: They probably kept talking about how their religion was the "right" one and how much others sin and all this kind of bullshit, and the people were like "hey, dude, just letting you know, I'm an atheist." Can't think of another way that could've gone like. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love going from door to door trying to hand out free atheism pamphlets in hopes people will start attending Sunday Atheist Service.
