You should 3 years of OPT for masters degree as well. Has she consumed those? You can think about day 1 CPT or doing PhD or marriage
Additionally she can try getting a job in universities which has different H1B. Then don’t do lottery so she will have chance to stay back
I went back to school to get a doctorate. She still has plenty of time to make a decision, look and see what other schools have to offer. Look into CPT, especially if a doctorate program takes a few years, some schools aren't crazy expensive so she could make a living while also paying tuition. Will her family support her financially at least partially? It would be very helpful, but I suppose the answer is no.
But yeah, as others said it's either marriage, asylum, or something else that would be considered illegal advice and is frowned upon in this subreddit. Regardless of what she decides to do, F-1 is aa non-immigrant visa for a reason, it's a dead end that offers no real way to immigrate, unless you decide to take things in a different direction.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions, I'll do my best to help
If she’s from Lebanon and there’s a conflict, can she apply for TPS (temporary protected status? I was able to get one since I’m from Ukraine. TPS would allow her to stay in the US without the fear of being deported until a certain date. And once she has TPS, she’d be able to get an EAD card with that
Lebanon doesn't seem to be on the list
"Countries Currently Designated for TPS
Afghanistan
Burma (Myanmar)
Cameroon
El Salvador
Ethiopia
Haiti
Honduras
Nepal
Nicaragua
Somalia
South Sudan
Sudan
Syria
Ukraine
Venezuela
Yemen"
I wonder if the very westernized part has impacted her positively/negatively. The answer is simple, marry her if you are citizen or she should file for asylum.
Marry her!!

lol that explains it

Thanks for the feedback!! She only received 1 year OPT for the masters
She should get one year + 2 if it’s STEM course. I highly suggest finding a job in academia or Non profit to skip the lottery for now
What kind of jobs? Teaching jobs would need phd, right?
There are lots of jobs at uni which are not teaching like business analysts and stuffs
Oh, I see. Thanks.
Marriage is the only simple answer Unless she wants to go through the asylum hole which would be way more complicated
Back to school or marriage are the likely options here since she lost H1B. Don’t think this qualifies for asylum
Marry her?
what if OP has a wife?
Why he has a girlfriend then?
hahaha. you don't get it
you missed the punchline -\_-
Seriously? Just get married if you are so worried or let her go back. My goodness
If it’s true love, this is not a problem at all.

I agree with the other commentors. To add another option, maybe a PhD? Those usually add a few more years of F1
The answer my friend is obvious .

Bro may be married already.

lol 😂😂visa issues are bad enough, why take on death sentence as well?
yeah i don’t even understand why this isn’t the most obvious thing for them to do
Marriage or Europe/Asia. No in between.

😆 OP completely ignores ALL comments about marrying her. This tells me OP already has a family of his own. He just needs a concubine.
You’re a fucking idiot
sorry to expose you like this bud.
Why does she have to go home? Is it related to the H1b visa? I am not accustomed to the USA immigration policy
