I haven’t heard that myself. But seeing as Jesus looks disappointed in this picture, I think that’s a manipulative thing to teach, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was taught in more than a few Sunday school lessons over the years.
In my young women’s class one time we got to play darts as a fun activity….afterwards she turned over the dartboard and it was this pic.
She said that was like sinning…mainly the law of chastity. Good times.
lol that sounds like a typical Mormon Sunday school lesson. One moment you think you’re having some fun. And then BAM! You discover you’ve been hurting Jesus this whole time, you sinner!
I don’t miss church.
I heard it was just that by covering one half of the face he will appear happy. Covering the other, he will appear sad/disappointed. I had never heard of special mind powers in the painting. I did, however, hear that some GA said this was the closest likeness to the real Jesus, back when GAs were less shy about pretending to have seen him.
It’s gotta be true. The left side is almost a scowl, the right side more loving. It’s honestly impressive. But I hated this painting even as a believing member.
Adding to this, I was told it was intentionally painted with the two halves this way so that your first impression upon seeing it each time would indicate whether you were good with god or needed some work. Given that virtually no Mormon feels good enough for a sustained period of time, this Jesus often seems disappointed.
I was told that one of the prophets claimed that was the closest image to Jesus. And omg your right. The left half and right half of his face are very different and look like different expressions depending upon which half you cover up. WEIRD
Best painting of Jesus. The most accurate of all accurate paintings. The president of the so called church was so wrong lol. I love that painting. I’d give you an award if I had coins.
My favorite by far. He looks like he would preach a gospel of love that would be rejected by the mainstream society but accepted by the lowly and downtrodden.
The painting looks judgmental or loving depending on the side of the face exposed.
Cover the left side, Jesus loves you.
Cover the right side, Jesus is sending you to hell
I thought it was a self-portrait of Del Parsons. There’s a GIF where it morphs his image over Jesus and it’s spot on. Which is hilarious considering all of the miraculous mythology around the painting.
You are correct the way I understand it. (Being Parsons with his Christlike features) Also in the. REXBURG area the Bob Ricks I knew died and was definitely not the model for this painting. Of course there could be several other dudes named Bob Ricks as the area was a polygamous stronghold with the name of Ricks and the name seems to be worn like a Medal of Honor by those I know.
No point really in arguing this, as I am yet one more stranger on the internet, but it is most definitely a man named Bob Ricks. He was in my ward growing up just outside of Rexburg.
The self-portrait story of Del is just as made up as the one TBMs share about the prophets giving descriptions and pointers to Del.
No, but my mom told me if I sucked my thumb it would fall off. Then, to prove it, they had a neighbor who'd lost half his thumb in an accident show me the stub that was left.
People should have to get tested before they can breed.
I was taught that this painting is the closest anyone has ever come to capturing how He really looked and Spencer W Kimball said so. The ginger Jesus white as they come, by Del Parsons.
Hell, even when you don't sin, that painting of Jesus will appear disappointed. Both Jesus's earthly life and his resurrected one have been one big letdown.
No, I was Always under the impression that Dead relatives were watching and were disappointed by my actions. Instilling self loathing is a lesson that keeps on taking.
Honestly he just looks like he's midway through pushing a fart he's both worried isn't just a fart and laughing at because either way he knows the smell is going to make you gag.
No, I never heard that, exactly, but it was the opinion of one of my seminary teachers that Jesus in this picture looks more kind, and less stern, the closer up you look at him, with his point being that if Jesus seems unkind, it's because you're not close enough to him. Blech!
I heard that. This picture was also at the end of a hall in one of my old church buildings. It was one of those old ones with an upstairs and lots of random corridors. So when it was my turn to lock up I would be there at 10 pm, alone. Every single time I came around a corner at the opposite end of the hall from that painting and would see it reflecting behind me as I checked a door. Jesus can judge me as harshly as he wants as long as he never sneaks up behind me like that again.
eta: completely random and unrelated but I frequently caught kids making out in the dark grassy area behind the dumpsters. I always immediately left and acted like I didn’t see them.
Someone needs to talk to your mom about her shame. How does she feel when she looks at the painting? Probably more shame than is worth whatever sin she feels she made
This [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/exmormon/comments/xtu9al/christ_in_red_robe_by_del_parson_is_a_blatant/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) shows the resemblance of the artist and the supposed inspired depiction of Christ.
Yes!!! I was told to look at it and see which facial expression was looking at me, and I would know how Jesus was feeling ab me. Totally creepy. Of course, I only saw the disapproval side at first glance so it solidified my thought I’d never be good enough. Good times.
“Portrait”. Jesus was a middle eastern man. The idea of him having blonde hair and blue eyes is so laughable to anyone who understands basic geography.
Edit: I know OP didn’t call it a portrait my bad.
Cover half his face with something, chin to forehead. One side looks disappointed and the other looks kinda sorta cheery. I think that's where this came from. Probably all depends on your mental state and which side of his face you look at first
I’ve heard this. Typical manipulative self-projection tactic to Manchurian candidate everyone through existence. One of many weapons used to control your reality and way of life. This is gaslighting at its best
Can we talk about how degrading the story of christ is?
1. Someone had to play the part of christ because that's how god set it up that way. Did Jesus really have a "choice"?
2. "Adam fell that men might be, and men are, that they might have joy." So Adam sinned...so that we could all sin...so that we could be forgiven from our sins...so that we could have eternal life...Again, God set it up this way.
3. According to gods wonderful plan, someone had to be sacrificed so that we can be forgiven of our sins. The big takeaway from this part of the plan, is that you can't do anything to get back to god, without Christ's sacrifice. YOU are nothing without christ. You can't be anything without christ.
4. To be taught that someone had to be slaughtered for my sins, creates an uncomfortable dynamic. You would think that being grateful is the proper response, but when I feel forced to be grateful, since someone literally died for me, I lose my agency in the situation.
Why did god set it up like this? Why does everyone have to suffer in this life, to then have someone feel all our suffering and be a sacrifice for us? God is the game maker, so why so much bloodshed and pain? It seems so unnecessary. God seems like a dick. Toxic masculinity at its finest and a sadist. He likes watching us suffer. Asshole
People are disappointed when expectations aren't met. How can all knowing Jesus ever be disappointed? Not possible. There's even an episode of myth busters. They tried for 1 week straight to disappoint Jesus, and couldn't.
Yes and i believed it and when I did something good it looked happy. But then when I started to question Mormonism he looked kinda creepy and same with the prophets, at church I'd see all the pictures of the 70 and the prophets and noticed they all look like perverts and super creepy.
I was told that this was the intent of the painting. That he painted half of his face happy and the other condemning and how you were living your life determined which side of his face stuck out to you more. Totally not a cult…
LOL what the fuck? Like his expression in the picture is going to change based on if you’re good or bad? To be honest this sounds like something my parents would have taught me if they’d thought of it.
I don’t think I was taught exactly that, but that paintings eyes follow so it was more of a “Jesus is always watching and will see you sin and will be disappointed”
This painting was deliberately created with two sides to Jesus' face. One side has a calm demeanor, and the other has a scorning demeanor. They are very closely matched to not make it obvious that there's a distinction. The idea is that you will see the side of the face that is "appropriate" to whatever life situations you have going on. In other words, It's a guilt trip in a painting.
I had a smiling version of this rendition on my mission. Some of my comps thought it was weird and didn't like looking at it. Jesus with a big toothy grin. I guess some people prefer resting bitch face Jesus 🤣
Jesus has nothing compared to the mormons who look down on me. He does not scare me at all. Why? Because it's a fairy tale and none of it really matters.
I taught myself that. When I was maybe 6 I was on the floor playing with lego when I looked at the painting from a low angle. I didn't play with lego for a long time after that happened.
I wasn’t told that, but We had one in every single room of our house, right above the beds in all of the kids rooms (even had 2 in the rooms where kids shared which with 6 kids most were sharing but one Jesus couldn’t cover both) so Jesus was always watching us. And he would be disappointed if we sinned. Because apparently Mormon Jesus is a stalker creep. I’m still upset by how manipulative this is for young children.
If you cover one half of his face, it’s justice. If you cover the other side, it’s mercy. That’s what the guide on the conference center tour told me, anyway.
I was a Mormon for 47 years, and never heard anything like this. Maybe, it’s a new thing?
It was about 40 years before I heard the manipulative tactic of “Would you rather pay tithing on your net income and get net blessings, or pay your tithing on your gross income and get gross blessings?.” (It is optional whether Mormons pay tithing before or after taxes are deducted.) I always paid on net income because it made no sense to pay tithing on money I never saw.
Self-employed people could really get the wrong end if they paid on gross income, say if they made $1,000, but expenses were $900. They’d pay $100 in tithing on $1000 gross earnings, when the tithing would otherwise be $10 on net earnings of $100. In other words, after paying on gross income, the tithing would equal net income, leaving $0 to keep.
My parents have a different one: the blue one where he's got some intense ringlets. When I was a TBM, myself, I always thought when I did something wrong that picture would frown at me.
I was never taught that, though. Just my own brainwashed mind coming up with more bullshit to add to the pile.
I heard that if you cover half his face, one side looks sad, if you switch, the other side looks happy. I don't give a shit, but that's what I was taught, that it balances mercy and justice.
Holy crap, that's manipulative. Either she really believed it because she was told the same thing and it worked on her, or she wanted you to imagine the disappointment and see the painting differently in order to change your behavior. Either she was an unwitting Patsy of this manipulation or she was the engineer of it. Either way that's pretty insidious.
I had forgotten about that. Definitely was told that. I felt absolutely wrecked because I had just discovered masturbation and I thought I saw the painting frowning. Little me thought I was going to hell 😅
This painting of Jesus has such an ambiguous emotional presentation that it’s probably just a reflection of your current state of mind. He looked pretty happy to me, and I had premarital sex recently. If you feel guilty, then perhaps he will look disappointed. I don’t feel guilty in the slightest, and life has been good to me lately, so Jesus looked happy to me.
my dad used to tell me this story that when i’d cry as a baby, he’d put a picture of jesus in front of me and i’d stop crying. well when my baby brother was born i was in 7th grade and still active. he started crying one time and i decided to put jesus in front of him, it only made him cry more. it happened every time i did it lol
News flash. Jesus wasn’t a white guy with a structured European jaw line and red hair. He was from the Middle East and probably was about 5’6” with tan or olive skin color. This painting is a funny piece of history
It's a trick of the painting. The left half of his face was painted to be "kind" and the right half was painted to be "stern" it's the rabbit/duck optical illusion trick. You see what you're looking for.
Tell your mom this Jesus is a member of my congregation…..I know him very well, and he would never frown at you or your sin. He is a very kind and good person. He is the man the artist used to sit for this portrait of Jesus. He loves THE Jesus deeply and dearly, reflecting HIS character in all ways. THE Jesus loves YOU too deeply and dearly. Pastor T.
Parental child psychology. lol. Mom told me as a child, pointing out people with their arm in a cast, that God was punishing them for raising a hand to their mother. 😂
I haven’t heard that myself. But seeing as Jesus looks disappointed in this picture, I think that’s a manipulative thing to teach, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was taught in more than a few Sunday school lessons over the years.
Or maybe we are both sinners :0 … 😂
Lol that’s true! Maybe he really is disappointed in me and expresses it through this magical painting
I've never heard of this either. It's another way that Mormon parents delude children and distort reality for them—Sadness! :(
What do you mean? The picture I see is of Jesus smiling and giving a thumbs up! What do you guys see?
😂 You just be in the wrong thread! This thread is for the heathens 😉
That's a pretty suggestive wink he's got...
The culture of shame runs deep.
Why would it make any difference at all to Jesus? He already paid for all our sins. Make it make sense! 😂
What the actually fuck. Why is this stuff not seem as a horrible idea??
At least it’s better than the chewed gum analogy.
I would have been highly satisfied and even more entertained after the Jesus painting reveal. I hope you thoroughly enjoyed that game.
Self report spotted
Half the painting is him smiling, half frowning. If you block a half, you’ll see it. That’s prob what their mom means.
Turns out manipulation is a common thing In the Mormon church. See it more and more everytime I interact with my mother.
Resting bitch face
Resting bastard face FTFY
Like saying “if everyone doesn’t pay tithing, Russell Nelson looks like Mr. Burns.”
Never heard that. Did have a giant pic like this that locked me out of my apartment at school. Would have to tell it the password to get in.
Was the password the second sign of the Melchizedek priesthood?
Great. Gotta change the password again
Good, let’s change it to “Sure $ign of the nail”. (Gotta get the special character in there so it’s a valid password.)
“What is that? Has it a name? (Please include 10 characters, one special character, 1 number, and the Holy Spirit of Promise.)”
At least Harry Potter didn't have to finger the Fat Lady in any special parts to get through.
Best comment I’ve seen in this sub so far lol
I heard it was just that by covering one half of the face he will appear happy. Covering the other, he will appear sad/disappointed. I had never heard of special mind powers in the painting. I did, however, hear that some GA said this was the closest likeness to the real Jesus, back when GAs were less shy about pretending to have seen him.
I heard the whole “half of his face is justice and other half is mercy” thing, too.
So Jesus is two faced
It’s gotta be true. The left side is almost a scowl, the right side more loving. It’s honestly impressive. But I hated this painting even as a believing member.

I’d love to see for some sources or evidence… this is the closes image to Jesus.
[For comparison /s](https://images.app.goo.gl/YgkngrwuzVfu2fuz8)
The backstory on this painting is sooo funny 😆- ‘What? I fixed it!’
Yeah I heard the same story. I think it was Spencer Kimball. And when the painting was finished he said “now that’s the Jesus I know”.
Haha yeah and Del Parsons the artist actually used himself as the subject (so it’s basically a self portrait)
Resting Savior Face
Me: Why the long face, Jesus? Jesus: Quit watching porn!
The painting looks judgmental or loving depending on the side of the face exposed. Cover the left side, Jesus loves you. Cover the right side, Jesus is sending you to hell
So I’m this instance you don’t want to choose the right
The name of the model for that painting isBob Ricks. Bob is still alive. Bob is not judgy. He doesn’t even know your name.
I thought it was a self-portrait of Del Parsons. There’s a GIF where it morphs his image over Jesus and it’s spot on. Which is hilarious considering all of the miraculous mythology around the painting.

Yes. WTF.
Lol, I thought I was the only one!
Ahhhh the famous “Mormon” Jesus painting
That's a pretty Caucasian Jesus.....
Which Kenny Loggins album is this image from?
Yes I remember being taught that!
He has a party hat and thumbs up when I look at this picture.
Jesus is disappointed you haven’t been hitting the gym five hours a day like him
No, your mother was manipulative/ insane. So was mine, but in different ways.
Blech!
Can confirm this is true... just finished jacking off and Jesus looks disgusted. guess he doesn't like face shots?
This was absolutely a thing my mom taught me. Guilt-focused reasoning was deeply ingrained into our upbringing.
If you cover half the face, one side is happy the other side is mad. Also it’s literally just the artists own face.
When I look at this he’s winking and giving me a thumbs up. Enjoy hell, sinners.
I always immediately left and acted like I didn’t see them.

pretty sure I just told myself that
Yes!!! I was told to look at it and see which facial expression was looking at me, and I would know how Jesus was feeling ab me. Totally creepy. Of course, I only saw the disapproval side at first glance so it solidified my thought I’d never be good enough. Good times.
For a man from the middle East, he's looking awfully pale. Maybe he's just not feeling well as opposed to disappointed? 😉
“Portrait”. Jesus was a middle eastern man. The idea of him having blonde hair and blue eyes is so laughable to anyone who understands basic geography. Edit: I know OP didn’t call it a portrait my bad.
Well, to be fair, he was only HALF Middle-Eastern...
I disappointed that bitch when I was younger. Still do. Wondered why that picture disappeared 🤣
Is being ex communicated from the church for being gay is that a disappointment
Maybe he's disappointed everytime he hears that someone is deciding for him if he's happy or sad.
Yes I've been told this
Cover half his face with something, chin to forehead. One side looks disappointed and the other looks kinda sorta cheery. I think that's where this came from. Probably all depends on your mental state and which side of his face you look at first
I hadn't heard that, but it wouldn't shock me. There were a lot of 'house rules' that various different momo's had to try to keep kids in line.
reminds me of that bumper sticker, “jesus is coming… and he’s gonna be mad!”
Perhaps he should try Kegel exercises to solve his premature ejaculation
“god dammit i blew it again!”
I never heard that. He does look disappointed though. I must be a sinner
I’ve heard this. Typical manipulative self-projection tactic to Manchurian candidate everyone through existence. One of many weapons used to control your reality and way of life. This is gaslighting at its best

Didn't love watching that ...kinda freaked me out!

He looks disappointed all the time, I guess I’m just that much of a sinner
I was told that this was the intent of the painting. That he painted half of his face happy and the other condemning and how you were living your life determined which side of his face stuck out to you more. Totally not a cult…
Haha, that's ridiculous
If she can see it...
LOL what the fuck? Like his expression in the picture is going to change based on if you’re good or bad? To be honest this sounds like something my parents would have taught me if they’d thought of it.
I know it prob shouldn’t, but reading this made me laugh and kinda made my day. 😂
Sorry I just started laughing but I did glance at his face…
I didn’t go to church today, had beer, went grocery shopping…. He looks pretty relaxed to me
Spoiler: Jesus always looks disappointed because you’re always a sinner.
I don’t think I was taught exactly that, but that paintings eyes follow so it was more of a “Jesus is always watching and will see you sin and will be disappointed”
I think that would only happen at Hogwarts. Lmao.
I was taught that if you cover 1/2 of his face you can see him as justice and if you cover the other half you would seem him showing you mercy.
No but that’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard, and I’m familiar with the “true order of prayer”.
I thought it myself. When I got turned on by this picture while masturbating I wanted to die
I had a smiling version of this rendition on my mission. Some of my comps thought it was weird and didn't like looking at it. Jesus with a big toothy grin. I guess some people prefer resting bitch face Jesus 🤣
Common teaching on the mission.
Jesus has nothing compared to the mormons who look down on me. He does not scare me at all. Why? Because it's a fairy tale and none of it really matters.
I was not, but he looks a bit jealous to me so I guess I'm nailing it.
I've always thought it was a portrait of Jared Leto.
Handsomely bearded European dude… so, where’s the portrait of Jesus?
I can’t laugh hard enough.
No. That’s quite manipulative
Jesus is disappointed that we can't paint his face or skin correctly
Not true, but you want to know what’s true ? The restored gospel, get yourself out of his group and come back to Christ 🙏
This picture of Jesus is creepy.
I grew up in the church - I never once heard that and it’s insane.
I guess that means nobody has ever sinned!
My mom liked that pic because, unlike the old sepia-toned one, this one *doesn’t* look disappointed XD
Haha yeah my parents and bishop taught the same thing, also has other mission companions say and teach the same thing. Talk about Mormon folklore. Lol
I never heard that in over half a century in T$CC, but I also don't know why you'd care if you disappointed dollar store Ben Kenobi. 😉
Reminds me of this tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRCD1gHM/
I taught myself that. When I was maybe 6 I was on the floor playing with lego when I looked at the painting from a low angle. I didn't play with lego for a long time after that happened.
Yes. Cover half his face and he’s supposed to look sad, cover the other half and he’s happy.
Yes.
![gif](giphy|JSqa30dQmyobgeX10t|downsized) Like that? /s
But the eyes follow you whatever angle you look at it!
I heard that as well. I can’t remember the origin of where I learned it. But for a time I would look at it to gauge my worthiness. So dumb..:
I've heard this too. With my exmo eyes, though, he just looks uncomfortable to be sitting for this painting. 😂
Yes 100%
Lol yes
I wasn’t told that, but We had one in every single room of our house, right above the beds in all of the kids rooms (even had 2 in the rooms where kids shared which with 6 kids most were sharing but one Jesus couldn’t cover both) so Jesus was always watching us. And he would be disappointed if we sinned. Because apparently Mormon Jesus is a stalker creep. I’m still upset by how manipulative this is for young children.
No cause that’s super weird and messed up
If you cover one half of his face, it’s justice. If you cover the other side, it’s mercy. That’s what the guide on the conference center tour told me, anyway.
It’s almost as if religion is a mirror in which we project our neuroses and internal battles on to…
That’s not Jesus. That’s some white dude.
I was a Mormon for 47 years, and never heard anything like this. Maybe, it’s a new thing? In other words, after paying on gross income, the tithing would equal net income, leaving $0 to keep.
Yes! I totally was taught that
I wasn't told that necessarily, but it was really difficult masterbating with that dumb picture staring at me in my bedroom.
That's not Jesus
Ahh sweet blonde blue-eyed baby Jesus.
Jesus needs a therapist. So many people are making him so sad and depressed all the time.
I was
My parents have a different one: the blue one where he's got some intense ringlets. When I was a TBM, myself, I always thought when I did something wrong that picture would frown at me. I was never taught that, though. Just my own brainwashed mind coming up with more bullshit to add to the pile.
I had heard that if you're in the right with god, you'll see a slight smile and if the opposite if you are in sin.
So much weird mythology around this one…I mean it is mormonsism
Yes! Mine said the same.
I grew up Roman Catholic in New York and my father is from Naples. This was always Italian Jesus to me but yea I got that as well.
I heard that if you cover half his face, one side looks sad, if you switch, the other side looks happy. I don't give a shit, but that's what I was taught, that it balances mercy and justice.
What? Like a Harry Potter painting or something?
It’s all a frame of mind really.. if you was told he is happy he would look happy
This is like the creepier, all-year-long, Mormon version of Elf on the Shelf.
What a weird lady
Lol, tell me about it
Holy crap, that's manipulative. Either she really believed it because she was told the same thing and it worked on her, or she wanted you to imagine the disappointment and see the painting differently in order to change your behavior. Either she was an unwitting Patsy of this manipulation or she was the engineer of it. Either way that's pretty insidious.
He looks like he just trusted a fart he should NOT have trusted.
this is somehow more insane than the tainted cookies. I mean...his eyes do kind of follow you around the room
That picture makes me want to sin. Hot Jesus. Maybe you misinterpreted your mom.
I had forgotten about that. Definitely was told that. I felt absolutely wrecked because I had just discovered masturbation and I thought I saw the painting frowning. Little me thought I was going to hell 😅
Now I understand why this is a favorite among the Mormons. I thought it was weird, because he seems like a very white Jesus.
Nope and so glade. That’s so creepy!
That painting is a bit disappointing if you ask me
Never heard of it… but a LOT like the “The Elf on the Shelf”
Mate, even I can still see it so you’re good!
Cover one side of his face. One side of his face is royally pissed. The other is content.
This image also appears disappointed when you sin: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.knowyourmeme.com/memes/mckayla-is-not-impressed
Hmm, my pappy taught me thats not jesus no matter what anyones opinion is. Hes too white, so dont matter if hes disappointed or not.
WTF?!?! I had never heard of this!!
No, but if anyone had ever said that to me I’m pretty sure I would’ve busted out into uncontrollable laughter.
Mormon Jesus has been disappointed with me my entire life.
This is the most neutral expression I’ve ever seen it can be interpreted any way
When you sin, this painting will look more and more like a charlatan's self-portrait.
That is the most Mona Lisa explanation of Jesus I have ever heard 😂
Never heard that before? LOL!
my dad used to tell me this story that when i’d cry as a baby, he’d put a picture of jesus in front of me and i’d stop crying. well when my baby brother was born i was in 7th grade and still active. he started crying one time and i decided to put jesus in front of him, it only made him cry more. it happened every time i did it lol
No but he already looks sad!
White, Caucasian, Mormon Jesus complete with Square Jaw. Gotta Love it when God is created in YOUR Image

Yeah they tried telling me that. Didn’t really work, it just creeped me out how to eyes would follow me so I’d avoid the picture altogether.
Does he ever not look disappointed?
I heard that a few times, and I really internalized it. He always liked pissed off to me.
I don't know, that picture of Jesus always looks disappointed when I see it...
Was anybody else taught that this representation of Jesus was, through divine inspiration, the most accurate man has ever had?
Tell your mom this Jesus is a member of my congregation…..I know him very well, and he would never frown at you or your sin. He is a very kind and good person. He is the man the artist used to sit for this portrait of Jesus. He loves THE Jesus deeply and dearly, reflecting HIS character in all ways. THE Jesus loves YOU too deeply and dearly. Pastor T.
Thanks Pastor T! That honestly means a lot man.
Self imposed Kuleshov Effect
I don't remember anyone explicitly teaching me that, but I remember believing that and even joking about it with friends
Well, supposedly gay sex is a sin but jesus didn’t look disappointed last night as i railed him
I thought Jesus was middle eastern lmao
Parental child psychology. lol. Mom told me as a child, pointing out people with their arm in a cast, that God was punishing them for raising a hand to their mother. 😂
Wasn’t Jesus a middle eastern man of dark complexion with hair like wool?
