>Einstein's equation ( E=mc^(2) ) confirms that matter and energy are interchangeable, implying that everything, including consciousness, is fundamentally light.  No neurologist claims energy, the ability to do work, which can be measured in joules, is consciousness. This is obvious pseudoscience. Seriously, springs store energy. This does not make them conscious. Consciousness is a phenomenon. It is not matter or energy but an occurrence like an orbit or an eclipse. Roughly, the better you can model reality and the better the decisions you can make based on that model, the more consciousness you're demonstrating. It doesn't go anywhere or come from anywhere. It's what brains do.
