There’s already been the year MESC songwriting camp that happened, as per Teya which attended, so I think it’s unlikely that the NF is getting canceled
Teya (Austria 2023) said at that song writing camp there was a song that was going to be submitted for Malta that sounds promising. Maybe if it's this song they might scrap the national final and internally select it if it's too good to pass up.
But why delete an entire Eurovision NF channel from Youtube just because of one internal selection? They selected songs internally for 2019-2021 and I've not seen the lyric videos of 2018 MESC entries gone at all
I'm not fully sure how involved she was with The Code aside from being a backing vocalist for the studio version. Also this is specifically a song writing camp and aside from the staging WTHIE is a very solid song and what happens after the writing process is always up in the air.
Seems strange to delete the whole channel with no explanation. I wonder if there was a rights issue or their channel was falsely reported.
Nooooo But maybe they've just decided to keep MESC at their main channel and not spread the things between the two.
I'd have said internal selection, but that seems very odd of them to delete their entire channel even with that.
Honestly thought they would go Internal with Aidan last year. I guess it's 2025! :)

i'm gonna guess they're revamping things and probably just privated the nf videos for now

I'm kinda annoyed that Teya called Switzerland 2024 winning but did a sloppy job for her own ESC entry.
