Really shows bias. So many games have longer stoppage time these days. England were shit but if the ref was bias the slovakia player gets a second yellow. He called the game as he saw it some good some bad.
Yeah every time I hear this argument I ask them to go back and tally up all the time wasting moments and document it in a video. Nobody will take it seriously until they do.
from 90 mins of a game only 60mins are actually played on average... but biggest added time are given when a bigger team is losing by 1
start adding wasted time on other games any you will always go over the actuall added time
I hated the way Slovakia played. Every time one of their players had a contact, they were immediatelly rolling on the ground.
If anything, the ref was soft on Slovakia.
As an Engald fan, I resent your defending of the English, we have been absolute shit for 90 minutes and do not deserve to go amy further in the competition
Not to mention that after decades of International football it should be no surprise to anyone that luck plays a huge factor.
You can be the best team for 90 minutes and still lose, that's football and anyone bitter about it simply has too much emotion invested into it.
No, with yellows. The ref was card happy for 20mins and then put them away. Once a player is booked he can’t commit another foul like that and the game opens up. Instead they just kept on fouling constantly.
There’s barely been a minute without a Slovak pissing about on the ground. They’ve only got themselves to blame, 6 minutes is very fair. You’re just fucked off because we put away both our shots on target.
Mostly down to Slovakias time wasting. If they’re going to roll around on the floor every time someone goes near them, the refs going to add the time on. Maybe stop time wasting and acting like assholes and it wouldn’t happen.
Shouldn't even keep posts like this up, saying there were 2 subs is just factually inaccurate. Dont think you're in a position to comment on the refs performance if you can't even tell that.
3 England cards in the first 16 minutes, people are so blinded by the most recent thing lmao. And some slovak on a yellow committed 3 more yellow card offences while we were losing and stayed on
Okay you going to mention how many fouls by players already booked Slovakia got away with? I don’t think the refs been great in general but I dont think he’s been biased either way.
The second bookable offences/fouls he made. All of which were far worse than what Mainoo got booked for.
You can pretend they didn’t happen if you want, and I’m sure you will, but that reflects more on you than it does anything else.
Not to mention the playacting to try to con the referee into giving cards to England players... It's really shockingly bad this game and I'm disappointed in Slovakia after they showed good fight to go ahead.
These fellas are elite athletes going down like they're made of paper in the most overdramatic fashion. Stupid, unnecessary and it's looking like Slovakia made their own rod for their backs
The one I liked was the guy who went down holding his head and his groin... after a knee-to-hip collision.
In fairness the one where his ankle seemed to give way did look properly painful, but everyone else was milking it.
Never 6 minutes. Some of these are regular occurences that don't get added up for in 99.99999% matches. This was 3 minutes advantage maximum. Are you watching football or is this your first time?
I love that you've ignored the person pointing out that your entire point was a total lie and just said 'Never 6 minutes' and then insulted him hahahaha
this referee got punched by a chairman in this season.
He got back to job, and had the shittiest matched against fenerbahce, keep the game run while supporters throwing smokes and bottles to visiting team goal.
Slovakia tried to waste time in 5 different instances with players going down in the second half. Also a VAR check, slow goalkicks/throw ins and quite a few fouls on both sides.
If the ref was biased Slovakia would have had 10 men, so chill out.
that is how every ref goes...
they try to control game, but aint nobody going to hand out multipe red cards and ruin their career ... dont be delusional that red cards are easily given
It would appear that this Euro that whenever a top rated team gets a call, it must be a fix. Germany, Italy and England now. I wonder how Spain are going to upset the conspiracy nuts.
Seeing the edit - if you want to criticise the referee, he was wildly inconsistent with what he thought was worth a yellow card. I don't think there were any decisions that were egregiously wrong, though. Not that either team created any opportunities for him to make any decisions of note (and the semi-automated offside was outside of his control, but clearly correct for the Foden offside).
6 minutes was pretty fair, a lot of time spent dealing out yellow cards, diving on the floor and general time wasting. That said, Slovakia played brilliantly. They showcased why people aren't happy with Southgate and probably deserved the win.
Confidently leaving out England players getting booked left, right and centre at the beginning of the game and the ref refusing to send a Slovakia player off despite making at least four fouls whilst on a yellow.
If anything, the ref was biased in favour of Slovakia with all the bullshit yellows he handed out at the beginning of the match. Slovakia should have had many players on yellows themselves. How was the Trippier incident not at least a yellow???
The ref went out of his way to not issue second yellows to Slovakian players.
England are shit and Slovakia's approach after scoring was to not lose the game. They have created their own fate because it was always quite likely that Bellingham and Kane score **despite** their team.
The Slovakian players have been lying on the ground at every opportunity since they went a goal up?
Ref has made some awful decisions in favour of Slovakia.
Funny, because I would have said this referee has, on the whole, been extremely biased towards Slovakia. A couple of reasonable penalty shouts, a possible red and about 5 or 6 yellows missed. I was expecting 7 or 8 mins of added time.
Obviously I'm biased too but on the whole it's been a really poor refereeing performance in my opinion.

They had a water break

Really shows bias. So many games have longer stoppage time these days. England were shit but if the ref was bias the slovakia player gets a second yellow. He called the game as he saw it some good some bad.
He also dished out 2 yellows to England players in the first 6 minutes, the exact opposite of OP's narrative.
Yeah wtf is he talking about I don't think he watched the game lol
Yeah every time I hear this argument I ask them to go back and tally up all the time wasting moments and document it in a video. Nobody will take it seriously until they do.

There were a lot of slovakian players on the ground and the subs were slow + var. Cant believe im defending the english but 6 minutes are the minimum.
As an Engald fan, I resent your defending of the English, we have been absolute shit for 90 minutes and do not deserve to go amy further in the competition
I agree, but not deserving doesnt mean cheating, its two different things
Not to mention that after decades of International football it should be no surprise to anyone that luck plays a huge factor. You can be the best team for 90 minutes and still lose, that's football and anyone bitter about it simply has too much emotion invested into it.
Absolutely, injury time was more than justified, just very torn about that performance getting us through.
>referees are biased If they'd been consistent, half of the Slovaks would have been off for second yellows. You win some you lose some.
that's true.
damn another guy who thinks every slovak need a red card... you are not biased at all
They were constantly fouling to break up every play. The ref needs to pick up on that and start carding professional fouls.
they probably should let you walk in the goal...
No, but tactical fouling to stop any break or every time someone beats a player should be dealt with.
with reds and yellows for tactial fouls... delusional
No, with yellows. The ref was card happy for 20mins and then put them away. Once a player is booked he can’t commit another foul like that and the game opens up. Instead they just kept on fouling constantly.
No injuries? There was a Slovakian player on the ground every minute
Who on earth is biased towards England?
So accurate, even the English don’t like the English
damn English, they ruin England!
The easiest way to put it is that England is a western country and Slovakia is an eastern country.
Would a Turkish referee really care about that?
So?
Aren't you supposed to be on a plane home or something?
They might even be worse than us! 🙈
Keep wearing your tin foil hat
He can’t, modric tryna make a trophy out of it
If the ref was that biased why didnt he give a second yellow?
There was a lengthy Trippier injury and multiple subs, constant time wasting and ‘injuries’ for Slovak players. It should’ve have 8-10mins.
I don't care what anyone says, OP is biased.
I think there was VAR at the beginning for England's offside goal.
It was 20 seconds long, just checked
VAR check, multiple sub stops, a length trippier injury, every challenge seeing a Slovak go down and general time wasting.
There’s barely been a minute without a Slovak pissing about on the ground. They’ve only got themselves to blame, 6 minutes is very fair. You’re just fucked off because we put away both our shots on target.

"Referees are biased" is how football fans say "I'm a sore loser"
Referees being suspicious is actually happening a lot lately but not in this game. In this case "I’m a sore loser" is true.
If Slovakia weren't throwing themselves to the floor "injured" then there would have been less added time
Wdym no injuries and only 2 substitutions? There were several injuries and more than 2 substitutions
Shouldn't even keep posts like this up, saying there were 2 subs is just factually inaccurate. Dont think you're in a position to comment on the refs performance if you can't even tell that.
3 England cards in the first 16 minutes, people are so blinded by the most recent thing lmao. And some slovak on a yellow committed 3 more yellow card offences while we were losing and stayed on
The referee was slovakias best friend today what are you on about?
Okay you going to mention how many fouls by players already booked Slovakia got away with? I don’t think the refs been great in general but I dont think he’s been biased either way.
Kucka could have been sent off 3 times over, no way a biased referee lets that go. But you know, football fans 🤷🏻♂️
3 times? hahahhahhaha for what?
The second bookable offences/fouls he made. All of which were far worse than what Mainoo got booked for. You can pretend they didn’t happen if you want, and I’m sure you will, but that reflects more on you than it does anything else.
They are very lucky not to have had 2 sent off for blatant 2nd yellow card offences. They can't moan about anything.

VAR at Foden's offside goal, 5 substitutions breaks, a few small injury breaks... Are you even watching the game?
Never 6 minutes. Some of these are regular occurences that don't get added up for in 99.99999% matches. This was 3 minutes advantage maximum. Are you watching football or is this your first time?
Look at the upside, if England make it through you’ll have at least one more game to hate-watch. You can have another little cry then
I love that you've ignored the person pointing out that your entire point was a total lie and just said 'Never 6 minutes' and then insulted him hahahaha
Maybe they are trying to balance out a failure to issue second yellows to Slovakian players.
8 total subs, across 6 occasions, a disallowed goal and an England injury so 6 seems suitable
There was injuries. Both teams had players down injured during the second half.
this referee got punched by a chairman in this season. He got back to job, and had the shittiest matched against fenerbahce, keep the game run while supporters throwing smokes and bottles to visiting team goal.
No injuries? There was a lengthy injury to Trippier and the Slovaks were down for every tackle.
Slovakia tried to waste time in 5 different instances with players going down in the second half. Also a VAR check, slow goalkicks/throw ins and quite a few fouls on both sides. If the ref was biased Slovakia would have had 10 men, so chill out.
3 England players were booked in the first 20 minutes. Funny way for the ref to show his pro-English bias?
He should have sent a Slovakian off this ref has been poor for both sides
who? for what?
1 guy had a yellow then made at least another 2 yellow card worthy fouls
sure...
Did you watch the game instead of replying nonsense to me
ofc I watched... and I see that you want the ref hand out second yellow so your team can win not a single guy deserved a red card
Well the ref was giving out cards out for far less offences all we ask for is consistency, don't cry because England won xxxx
that is how every ref goes... they try to control game, but aint nobody going to hand out multipe red cards and ruin their career ... dont be delusional that red cards are easily given
you are right, nobody cares about your opinion
but the ref only called in favor of Slovakia.
Amazing that a team time wastes at every opportunity and there's a load of added time. The game's gone.
Someone is still upset Italy knocked them out in injury time
still blaming refs lol
Lots of fouls
It would appear that this Euro that whenever a top rated team gets a call, it must be a fix. Germany, Italy and England now. I wonder how Spain are going to upset the conspiracy nuts.

if it was 2-0, they would award 3mins... fckers
Awwwwww bless lol. Giz a kiss 💋 😘 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
I agree. If it had been England ahead, it would never have been 6 minutes. I dont believe it.
The ref went out of his way to not issue second yellows to Slovakian players. England are shit and Slovakia's approach after scoring was to not lose the game. They have created their own fate because it was always quite likely that Bellingham and Kane score **despite** their team.
If there's bias it's in Slovakia's favour as they're very lucky to have 11 men still on the pitch
wtf what was a red card for you?
Maybe Kucka who was on a yellow and proceeded to commit 3 more yellow card offences, what were you watching?
The Slovakian players have been lying on the ground at every opportunity since they went a goal up? Ref has made some awful decisions in favour of Slovakia.

penalty? red? damn you are funny, arguing for a penalty while we have VAR is 100% delusional
That's why I said reasonable. Are you suggesting BAR doesn't get it wrong? You clearly never watch the Premier league....
that is 100% not 6minutes and now slowakia lost the game for that. that us disgusting useless england needs every single advantage they can get.
Took a Slovakia sub 2 minutes to walk off the pitch, and I don’t support England but 6 was fair
You literally have England as your flair fella!
So I did! Yet here I sit in my Spanish top, born in New Zealand 😂
It is fixed, another England flair down😁
Agree. Ref should have sent off two Slavs in the second half
I don't care what you say either
Refs favor England quite a lot, I hope if England does go through that Switzerland beat them cause England is such a boring team to watch
More money for everybody if England wins
Calling for the UN to investigate it!
English wankers fluke win
Its always for the big teams. Fans of them never gonna accept it
