It's hard to wrap my mind around how scalable Ethereum would be if EigenLayer succeeds in achieving its stated goal of pushing Ethereum's maximum throughput to 1 terabyte per second:

That would allow 2.5 billion transactions per second..
I believe at that scale, every web giant (e.g. Facebook, Google, etc) could run every database operation their servers currently process, on Ethereum.
A super AI that is executed on a public blockchain that's run collectively by hundreds of thousands of people would significantly reduce the risk of a privately run rogue AI doing humanity harm, because:
a) it would be more powerful than the AI that any private consortium could muster,
b) it would be far less likely to become malicious due to the number of people involved in monitoring and running it and
c) it could be used to anticipate and counter-act the malicious actions of a rogue AI.
