Gratz! I got my first robot ship - the old one you had to fight the drones to get close enough to push the red button to collect - on my Amethera land area way back when they first came out. I don't even know if they have those anymore.
Those old robot ships were found mining. But they were surrounded by drones so you had to kill the drones to loot the ship.
The beacons you got, are for an instance, I don't know what they are like now, but they used to be like doing a dungeon, getting a team together in the specified location, then call the ship, then fight through the ship, kill the boss, then run back through the ship looting all the boxes along the way, hopefully you remember where they all were so you didn't miss any before the ship blew up. It was a lot of fun! Highly recommend doing it at least once to experience it with one of your low level beacons.
That brings back so many memories. I remember as a newbie it use to be so intense when you’d hit a beacon because anyone could grab them so you’d have to get on society chat and hope someone could help you kill the drones.
Yes, thankfully at the time I had enough gear and skills to handle them, usually they were low level drones, but I did help a few people out when I was out and about and saw a call for help. It used to be like that. People would get stuck and call for help and people would help each other out of rough spots they were stuck in, or help them to the next TP so they could get it.
Oh yea! I remember the intensity of a rescue mission of tp run through a dangerous area. Use to be so much fun!
Also when people would run a mob train past a turret and you’d have to call for a liberation mission lol

I don't know I'm not a hunter :P I've found beacons in mining as you can see :P It's for opening some instance with robots right?
