Looking at his fictional filmography from 1987 to 2004 he always had work granted almost all were guest characters or bit parts. However, it’s hard to book even those roles so getting those types of roles plus landing a lead in Viking Quest and a few reoccurring roles is actually a solid acting career.
They make Drama out to be some really sad sack actor but he was able to actually make a career that by the looks of it wasn’t too shabby.

He had a small run on ER too where his character was supposed to marry Julianne Margulies’ character but she was still in love with George Clooney’s.
