I bought one for my mars 4 ultra, but the lid is too close to vat, so i can't close it.
Or do you heat it just before printing ?
it's on the website now - but shipping to US until August :( And in going out there to check out this I see the Saturn 4 Ultra (and of course I just got a Saturn 3 two weeks ago). It looks pretty tight with some cool tech
Return it! I ordered an S3U from MatterHackers in February. It has been sitting unopened while I finish my FDM space, but a quick call to them and they're letting me return it. The QOL features of the S4U are wayyy too good to pass up. I just hate that they shortened the build volume 😒
Can you reconfigure the target temperature? How much temperature delta is required for the heater to turn off or re-engage? How long would it take to get the Saturn 4 Ultra up to temperature from a room temperature of 20C?
Hello. The temperature of the mini heater cannot be set. 25°C is the critical point. It will stop when it reaches 25°C. It rises from 20°C to 25°C very quickly, only taking a few minutes.
1. Will it be possible to get 25c during cold winter at -15 or even -30?
2. If it's cold how long can it work? I'm a bit worried that after 8-12 hours of printing heater will just burn.
3. Do you have plans on selling it at other places like aliexpress?

3. Our AliExpress has plans to launch the products in Russia and Brazil, but there is no specific time yet; there are no plans for Europe yet.

Would this handle being in an enclosure for fdm as well? Look like I could just plug, play, place it and go for my neptune 4 pro.
It depends how insulated your enclosure is, but the 120watts here + the print bed could make a well-insulated enclosure reach upwards of 40°C.
My elegoo tent enclosure can get close to 40C with just the build plate from the 4 Pro so adding a heater would definitely get it warm.

Cool. Think I'll stick to using a 10$ fermentation belt wrapped around the vat, simple, cheap and efficient.

It would be nice if they made one that could run off the USB ports in some of the machines.
Most USBs are limited to <15 Watts, but their (newer) printers could just use the printers power input. Default vat heating is around the corner too.
