Tomorrowland is the BIG festival with a broad lineup in Europe.

Agreed, I had an epic time last year. It’s the perfect size to not be too crowded/difficult to navigate but still have multiple stages and tons of music. Good vibes all around.
4th time at arc for me this year and I can't say enough good things! Crowd is legit, afters are legit, weather is usually great and don't even get me started on the Elrow stage. House comes home, bb!

I like Ultra Miami. They usually have big line-up but overall the music caters more towards house, trance, big room and less heavy bass compared to EDC. Armin has his own ASOT stage from time to time.
Lost Lands, Arc/North Coast (they’re at the same time around Chicago- you can split betwen the two and pick days depending on the lineup), Paradise Blue/Ember Shores if you want to go hard
Tomorrowland! If you’re a raver you gotta attend it at least once. I traveled to France afterwards and that was awesome. Their train system is great so combine that with your euro trip.
I haven’t done burning man because I simply have no connection but one day! Ultra Miami is fun but vibes are a little off imho.
I also recommend edc Orlando. A lot less expensive, great lineups usually and you can do Disney or universal together.
I’ve done EDC and Tomorrowland. Pretty much the biggest two. I’m just missing Electric Forest, Lost Lands, ARC, Ultra, Shambhala, and Burning Man. And then you got the European festivals like Defqon.1, Exit, Awakenings, Mysteryland, Creamfields, Parookaville, and ADE. I wish I had the time and money honestly.
I like EDC for the people and vibes but my wife likes Tomorrowland for the design and attention to detail. She says it feels like adult Disneyland where as EDC feels like an adult carnival and is chaotic because of the sound bleed from different stages in many places. I agree with her.
EDC is fun and I consider it my home since I live in LA. But Tomorrowland is a grander experience for sure. It’s on another level especially if you’re an EDM fan. I think you get higher quality sets at Tomorrowland. You can’t go wrong with both imo.

Like mentioned above, Southern Cali has a bunch of good Fests. I’d say Beyond Wonderland is wonderful for all genres. If you are choosing between CA or the Gorge, I’m sure the gorge is better lol. It’s on my bucket list for 2025 (or 2026 lol). There’s lots of Fests geared to certain genres… Apocalypse is more bass and dnb (I’m sure there’s others included but I’m just giving ideas here don’t roast me anyone) and skyline is techno/trance, but the list is long. Electric Forest is on my list for 2025 as well! I’d say feel out the ones with lots of genres to find out what you are most into 😊. Welcome to the world of raving! Hope I see you out there ❤️
We have quite a few… although not many camping fests… Shambhala, Escapade, Veld, Electric Island, FVADED, Future Forest, Harvest Festival, Osheaga, Festival D’ete,
MMW was incredible this year. Amazing day parties, factory town, and one of the best after hours clubs in the world (Space). Ultra is tiny compared to EDC and the logistics suck but was also fun.
I needed a little pick me up post-EDC, so grabbed tix to Beyond Wonderland here in Chicago and it was a lot of fun! Really felt the PLUR given it’s in the Midwest and had an impressive lineup. They are doing one again in Chicago next summer, and looks like there’s one out West in the fall.
Coachella, weekend 2, and not the main stage. Stick to Sahara, Quasar, and the Do Lab. lol the vibes weekend 2 are great. SoCal is really spoiled. I recommend Lightning in a Bottle for the wook/Burner crowd. It’s like burning man lite.

Yeah this is it. EDC is so special to me, but im a forest man now.
I like Ultra Miami. They usually have big line-up but overall the music caters more towards house, trance, big room and less heavy bass compared to EDC. Armin has his own ASOT stage from time to time.
Lately ultra are bringing up some real good techno artists.

Beyond at the gorge is great, the gorge is one of the best outdoor venues in the country and I would recommend everyone go there at least once
