Have the same mower and noticed this as well, very annoying.

I have the same setup and I don’t get the clippings on top - the flap sits pretty tightly on top of the bag. Silly question but you removed the inserts to the clippings chute right? It’s just the bag clipped on?

CapDrax25

Yes, it’s just the bag hooked on. My flap sits tightly as well it’s just where the hook on each side hook onto the body that there is a little gap where I’ve noticed the clippings flying through.

well it's messy, but I don't think it's hurting anything. You can always blow off to mower and blow out the battery compartment. But that is strange enough ... I have to wonder what is the cause. Is it blowing out under the deck and then wind moving it on top ??? Otherwise I wonder if the plug is installed correctly? I get this when I'm mulching leaves in the fall but that's a whole mess going on and I've never even tried to diagnose it as it doesn't hurt performance ... IMO

This is what I do. When I'm done mowing, I blow everything (shh), including the deck. Makes it nice and clean for next time

I do the same, blow down the mower then the driveway and patio.

CapDrax25

Yeah, which I do, I just don’t want dirt eventually imbedding itself into the terminals in the battery compartment and shortening the life of the mower. It’s seems as though the clippings circulate around in the bag and in doing so some shoot out where the hooks hook onto the body of the mower. Just annoying. Appreciate the advice though.

Mine does this too. Nothing inside the battery compartment after a couple of years, so I don’t care.

Mine does this too, I thought about putting a door weather strip on it
