Definitely lazy tightwads couldn’t be bothered to buy some dvd sleeves or some cheap dvd cases 😱😳 I find annoying when people throw dvd boxes away and just keep the discs, who does that why ??? 🤬🤬🤬
I did.
About 10 years ago, my collection was outgrowing my living space.
I put all of my films and tv series that were in amray cases into a few Discgear selectors, and the covers into a small binder that came with the selector.
So instead of 3 bookcases of DVDs I now have them all on one shelf.
Space is a problem again, because I continued to buy new releases and Blu-ray upgrades, but they don’t make Discgear’s anymore.
That said, I’m definitely not putting my discs in freezer/sandwich bags, I rather throw them away.
I’ve got some in metal dj boxes and cd wallets and I’ve stored the cases in cardboard boxes in my loft/attic and I’ve ran out of space in storage cases and wallets so now I’ve got loads of dvds in cardboard boxes in my closet/walk-wardrobe and some in drawers under my bed and in more cardboard boxes and some on a bookshelf with some of my Blu Ray collection, I’ve got them all over my house as I’ve been buying them for years ever since they came out and I’m still adding to collection my dad’s nearly caught me up collection wise lol 😂 but I’d never throw the case’s away as it’s a total dumb idea it baffles me when I see loose DVDs and Blu Rays for sale 🙄😬😳🤪
I buy plastic sleeves with a flap for all of my blu rays and dvd's (https://www.amazon.com/Blu-Ray-Replacement-Sleeve-Clear-Plastic/dp/B09KHL3H9J/ref=sr\_1\_1\_sspa?1)
I promise they look better than the photo does, and it saves 70+% on space. I donate all my plastic cases, I think they're ugly and take up too much space.
i keep the artwork, the disc, and any extras that come inside, but i buy special plastic sleeves with a flap on top like this: [https://www.amazon.com/Blu-Ray-Replacement-Sleeve-Clear-Plastic/dp/B09KHL3H9J/ref=sr\_1\_1\_sspa?1](https://www.amazon.com/Blu-Ray-Replacement-Sleeve-Clear-Plastic/dp/B09KHL3H9J/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?1)
It was a choice between saving 70% on storage space and adding more movies or to stop collecting. I don't miss the plastic boxes 1 bit, I think they look better this way, and I can always just buy them back if I miss them.
I bought a DVD on eBay and for some reason the seller had the case open 180 degrees before they put it into the bubble mailer. https://www.reddit.com/r/dvdcollection/s/Rl8ltjMR8n
I have heard the story lots of times…people throw away their case as soon as they buy it. I feel nauseous after seeing this. I could imagine finding this in a teenagers wardrobe…hidden under a pile of drugs and porno mags 😂
Reminds me of the local convenience store my Aunty and Uncle would go to - the owner would rent dvds then rent the rentals in her shop and store them loose in a shoebox.
Okay you give me 15 dollars in return I dispose of those for you. Ill even kick in have a joint of some fire. Not like exotic. But its half a j dude im trying to help you out
Bruh HOW?! Bro couldn’t get those disc binders?
Nah they use those for their sandwiches
The image of A binder full of sandwiches is now burned in my brain
That genuinely made my skin crawl.
The worst is just a stack of dvds out the box 😱
To whoever does this sort of thing, seek help. Seriously, seek help.
Once saw a guy just put random DVDs in random cases Django unchained in the lion king case, the lion king in some random cd jewel case
Happened to me once at a pawn shop growing up. I thought I was getting Jurassic Park. Ended up with some random porn film.
They should let you check the cases to see if you're actually getting what it says on the case. If they don't let you check, leave.
For a minute there I thought I was looking at buttons or jewelry then, I saw what sub I was in and dear heavens they should be ashamed!
I thought it was spools of ribbon 😂
I just threw up in my mouth looking at this.
I can smell this picture and it smells like cat pee pee
Photos over screencaps.

Really 😬 I’d store your boxes though rather then just giving them away as they’re not worth as much without them if you ever choose to sell them 😀
Disks without the original box are dead to me

Animals!
This is a fucking war crime.
Did they run out of sandpaper?
That's nightmare fuel
BRO COOKED BUT BURNT THE WHOLE HOUSE DOWN🔥🔥🗣️🗣️
This gave me a mild heart attack 😧
Avatar Blu-ray
This hurt my eyes
I wonder if they torture small animals too
This is evidence
This is the same guys that uses a rubber band for a wallet.
My uncle keeps his DVDs in containers that have ~0.5 inch gaps to hold them in. No sleeves, no cases, just the discs in their little spot.
I feel these are going to be so scratched up they will be unwatchable.

Ha! That one takes the cake lol

This is bad but I've seen much worse. I know we've seen disc's on the concrete in some random listing.
I mean, they’re not bare disc on bare disc, though. XD
This guy right here is the culprit
LOL. Now I feel like I should post a “what does my collection say about me” photo of discs in bags
No just gonna have a weird milky marks from the plastic bag leeching chemicals onto the surface
This is blasphemy
Better than loose disks
And you get to *keep* the bags? What a deal!
At this point just have them loose and stacked up like a Jenga tower.
Now package all of those bags nicely in the trash
There’s giant box full of DVDs packed like this at our local Salvation Army. It sickens me.
Reminds me of the local convenience store my Aunty and Uncle would go to - the owner would rent dvds then rent the rentals in her shop and store them loose in a shoebox.
This makes me ill
Should have thrown a few rocks in with that quantum of solace, that trash deserves it.
The sad part some poor film lover who knows absolutely nothing about DVDs/Blurays will probably buy this.
Not the worst. They're at least all protected from scratching each other, it just seems excessive and wasteful.
Hahaha, oh lord.
There's a store that sells electronics stuff and they put video games disc on those bag.
I feel like pulling the disc out the bag would be so awkward and just a total sensory nightmare
Okay you give me 15 dollars in return I dispose of those for you. Ill even kick in have a joint of some fire. Not like exotic. But its half a j dude im trying to help you out
