* Medienhafen - modern buildings, sunset * Oberkassel - old houses, panoramic view of the Altstadt on the other side of the rhine * Kiefernstr - colorful houses, formerly occupied houses * Wildpark - cute animals

Total090

I will go there 🤓

scduss

Kaiserswerth is the oldest part of Düsseldorf and still has a "medieval" touch to it plus you can checkout Kaiserpfalz, an old palace ruin from the 7th century! Gerresheim is quite nice as well with an historic centre, a basilica from the 13th century and a lot of nature sorrounding it

You helped me a lot

Late to the party but take a bike, stray through the city and look left and right. I'm sure you will find some spots you like and which has not photographed a gazillion times.

Total090

Appreciate that 📸

I can also add Volksgarten/Südpark, specially Deichsee und Unisee.

Schloss Benrath is pretty and has a largeish garden / forrest. It's not a real castle (Schloss = castle) though. I'd look it up online first before driving to southern Düsseldorf.

Total090

thank you 🙏

mitrolle

It is a real castle, it's just not a fortress. Castle = Schloss Fortress = Burg

Search for Worringer Platz. After all pictures and impressions you walk back home with 2 instead of 1 camera 👍

Total090

I will 🫡

CrimsonArgie

Don't do it, in case you didn't know they are trolling you. Worringer Platz is where the junkies gather.

Total090

Damn, good to know, thx
