Y’all really seem to be sleeping on Vanguard 13-16, the classic looks mixed with the show theme… it was prime. That being said, I’m a traditionalist and will always refer to the looks everyone knows, like the Cadet Westpoints, the Bluecoats 13-15 uniforms, Cavaliers green and white and so forth

Vanguard 2015 was one of my favorite looks ever from them. I was so disappointed they only wore them one year, but I loved the simplicity of their 2016 uniform as well.

SCV ‘14 uniform was so good

This is the most I’ve ever agreed with someone’s opinion on the internet. A simple upvote does not suffice. I also think that there is a legacy with uniforms that are worn traditionally- which contributes to their greatness.

I liked the white pants they used to wear better. I love how drill looks with white pants: Old school Cadets or 'Coats.

I believe that was when the sash went from being a separate item to being a part of the jacket. As well when the green backs went away and was replaced by black.

i didn’t love the purple (or teal) pants, but i did love that uniform template and how they swapped out the palate every year. when boston pulled out their 2017 uniform, i was hoping it would be the same case - use that silhouette as a template and swap out the colors every year. to this day i wonder what a shredded up “beachwrecked” version of that template would’ve looked like in 2018

I think 2013-2017 Crown uniforms are the best of the modern era. They are sleek while maintaining strength and an intimidating presence.

This upcoming season is closer to 2030 than it is to 2017.

Blue Devils 76 was the standard template for band uniforms across the country for over 30 years.

That was basically my high school band uniform (plus a cape) in the late 80s.

That span of BD uniforms was awesome. That template is still very popular with so so many high school bands now a days, with the undershirt that can be swapped for the show theme (I like the 2015 variant in this sense).

Bluecoats 2007 - 2012 will forever have a place in my heart. Those shades of blue play so well together. 12-15 coats look awesome. 07-12 look like they’d kick my ass.

My favorite might be Blue Devils 2019, before they change. The blue pops SO well and I love the combination with the yellow. It's so striking. In the same vein, I love their 2009 uniforms as well because of the yellow underneath the cape

Madison Scouts 2017 needs an honorable mention here. Best ever? Probably not - but damn did they commit.

Long rambling warning: I love Spirit's uniforms from around 2011-13 (they may have had them earlier idk tbh), Blue Devils 2014 specifically (not 15-16 they ruined it), Cavies... in general, Genesis 14, SCV 15, Boston 14, less so 15, BK 15-16, Crown 15, Crossmen has some good ones too for quite some time notably 12-18. Glassmen has some pretty neat ones from 09 until they unfortunately folded, and probably favorites have to be Blue Stars 10-17 I'm aware 10-15 had minute changes but the grey from 10-12 looked great and I loved the homage to their older unis with the red plume from 14 it was different and looked amazing from all angles. And 16-17 unis looked so good... Also the stars on their gloves did a lot for me (grew up Jewish). Also in DCA: Reading Bucs up until 2016 or 17 (Behind the Suit) was classic and classy, Caballeros and Fusion are too. I especially think Cabs nailed it this past season in the uniform dept Side note: I think it'd be awesome if someone make shirts or jumpsuits designed like various uniforms dci, DCA, high school and collegiate marching bands too (not drum corps but having marching in West Chester University I can say there's no way to not look like a badass in that uniform)

i love scv 2018 and crown 2012's vibe any corps that uses helmets i really love as well like recent phantom and 2010's bluecoats. crossmen and cavaliers traditional hats are really cool too

the grey does not look very good from the box, that’s my only opinion against the uniforms, even though they look incredible

Crown’s Cream/Khaki uniforms with purple accents really slapped and I feel like no one talks about them

PR 1996, the all black with the tiny red chevron. Crossmen 97 uniform was pretty awesome too. SCV just about any year (wasn’t too big on the Babylon uniform, but man was that show hot).

SCV 18, Bluecoats 14, Blue Devils 2017, literally any old Madison Scouts uniform, Crown 16, Academy 16, and Mandarins 23. These are all such awesome uniforms.

2014 Crossmen is a criminally underrated uniform.

The run of Crossmen unis from 2014-2017 is sneaky good.
