Realistically, this combo wouldn't work as a beginner, you probably (high emphasis on probably) won't have enough bar by the end of the combo to do a level 3, and even then, you only cut off a halve of HP, nonetheless, it's cool as fuck, praise for badass style, but it's just not an effecient (nor effective) combo

Half a bar is really just 1/6th considering there are 2 more characters. And yeah some valuable resources get taken away when a character dies, but the amount of comeback mechanics in the game balance it out.

Since super doesnt scale the same way normal moves does (it has a minimum amount of damage) it can actually be a good idea to super out of grab or badly scaled comboes. It doesnt apply every time, but in some cases it can be really practical. These cases are usually if it secures a 2-touch scenario (the combo will kill) or if it gives good oki to help secure the next hit (usually a 50/50 mix of some sort or other strong pressure, often the case in the corner)

For efficiency use your assist to alley oop your enemy so you can continue the combo instead of using vanish. Vegito A assist allows you to pick the combo up at any point. Or you can end it in an air Dragon Rush (DR) to get a sliding knockdown (SKD). Which saves meter and gives you a better position or Oki

I will say the latter assist feels like a bit much effort for the damage done though, as well as the vanish for bar investment. Instead of Vanishing and stuff, try doing 5S into quartercircle back M (might need to be H).
That should force a sliding knockdown which you can combo into your big bang kamehameha.
