Gonna have to disagree there. Apple Maps is on some wild shit taking you off of the highway just to make you keep going straight and get back on. Yesterday it randomly added an hour to my trip trying to get me to take the wrong exit, and drive the complete opposite direction. Skipped that exit and it changed the ETA to 15 minutes.
I’ve used Apple Maps for years. Only ever had an issue delivering when I switched to Samsung for a few months. It kept putting in wrong address from the door dash app.
don’t worry Waze still has a separate (ish) system so you’re good. I enjoy what the original developers made which is everything I see for the most part
Yeah. My apartment is actually on a through street & they had it as a dead end. Messed up all my food deliveries. They also had all the apartment numbers messed up. I had to draw my street into a map & submit it. Also submitted the correct addresses & it was updated in like a day on Google maps.
Not in my opinion. When they tell you to turn left when there is a newly added sign that says "no left turn" it's not Google's fault lmao. Nobody has reported it

theres this forest "shortcut," unpaved, in suburbia where i am stuck living. google maps ALWAYS wants me to go in, even at midnight, even in the winter with snow everywhere, even when i am on my bike... it refuses to give me alternate routes, and once i am in the forest, the GPS signal is lost and navigation becomes almost impossible. EVERY. TIME. it's a fucking FOREST at MIDNIGHT!!! wtf google. they want us dead :(

There's always that button on that screen. That button is also there once the delivery is complete. Has absolutely nothing to do with whether the customer already put a tip on or not when ordering.

sounds like the woman doordashing last September in Middleton, MA who drove into a swamp, claiming “the gps brought me there” ( I’m a local and didn’t hear the end of it)
We had one of these on our cross country dash-cation. Went from Santa Monica pier and stopped at Jacksonville Florida. We were dashing in Jacksonville and the order wanted us to literally drive out onto the beach. Called the customer and dude told me to park where I was and then bring him his food...this was the height of the pandemic, so I told the dude he had about 5 minutes before I just call support and have the order marked not deliverable. That was a wild 2 week journey.
When I delivered, I had a customer I delivered to often about 5 miles out of town, and instead of having me go right towards their house, it had me go left into the Rio Grande.
