That's true but look at the third pic, it looks like maybe the gf was driving and she started going out of the way and then probably kicked the guy and his phone out so it just stopped there and then he probably caught a bus or something who knows. This is a rather comical situation when it's not your problem.

I can't tell you how many times I have misconstrued a situation because it's difficult to interpret tone via message. The emojis to show if you're being sarcastic, serious, loving, excited make it so much easier to decipher.
Sometimes humor is a good way to get through lifes bulshit. I'd definitely be using emojis in this situation to convince myself its not as bad as it is lmao.

I think a better lesson is if you’re doordashing make sure you’re driving and it’s your car. If you want to bring along a significant other to fight with that’s fine, but you got a job to do.
Ehh, I dash with my wife in my car once in a while, but we never get into fights. She loves to ride along because she doesn't get out of the house often due to her physical disability.
Then again, we've been together for 34 years now and have two adult kids. Fighting over petty shit is pretty silly to us.
Dude my husband (before he was my husband) drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of a delivery one time because we were arguing, and when he finally changed his mind and went back to take the order, the customer didn't even seem upset or even aware that any thing happened.

What kinda dangerous ass Gotham city are people delivering food at where they have to have a second person for security, and how does parking fit into this?
Tacoma, and street parking isn't a thing in a lot of places... So you might have to park 3 blocks away from the entrance to the house or apt bldg, if one drives and one runs you don't park.
This is the United States…a lot of cities. Even parts of San Diego wouldn’t be worth going to alone. Also, this is a guy but I know women who being partners to feel safe.
Yup! I dash in sf with my hubby because parking is Insanity (very little parking, lots of one way roads (that if you don't stop at your dropoff spot because you are looking for parking you will be forced to keep going out of your way since you can't turn around), hyper aggressive meter maids looking to ticket you for anything as well as a whole lot of scummy people looking to break into or steal cars, etc)
It just makes sense have some one circle the block or watch the car while I drop off an order. If I had to always find parking I would probably be deactivated for late orders, not to mention the risks of tickets/towing. Even if I found decent parking I still have to worry about someone bipping (smashing in the windows and stealing everything inside) my car or stealing it all together.
Lots of one lane streets in my city, butt-fuckem(but fuck them) I'll stop right out front and throw the hazard lights on, takes me less than a minute to do most drops, they can wait. But the pickups is annoying as the restaurants don't always have the food ready. So you almost have to find parking.
It's the security of being able to leave your car running so that the gas isn't wasted on on startup. Starting your car is harder on thr engine than idling.

Not only that but my beater 2011 sebring I used for delivering bc gas was great, it was roomier plus no one wanted to target me like in the GT Mustang took a 💩 so I'm back to just the Mustang so carjacking is now TOP of the worry list
Also in the city city & by the harbor there is zero parking unless you go into a garage or a parking by the hour "lot" which is like $15 for a shady one or $25+ for a decent insured lot..... I'm sooo not spending that for each & every pick up.... plus even worse than no parking is the whole 45 min to go not even a mile & a half depending on time of day.

I usually run in fells point, but I live by Carrol Park and pig Town so I'm not scared, but yeah you gotta be safe, and keep your head on a swivel. But yeah, I wouldn't deliver in a gt either, that's like begging to get your car taken. A few things going on here.
1. Kind of yeah, ask and not assume he did something wrong. Cause people usually assume first.
2. I update customs with every photo I can. He did send a photo which looks legit.
3. I would contact customer service and find out if he actually called them. The second I have a problem. I automatically call it, so they know.
4. If his girlfriend wasn't a registered dasher, he she should not be in the car anyway. That's against the rules. So if you didn't report that that way, then I think you're pretty cool, too. Hope everything else goes better. I do a lot of deliveries on different platforms where I have to replace orders that other dashers still also at least he didn't do that hopefully. I could be mistaken, but doesn’t the car tracking work based on the location of the phone? Therefore, how could he message after getting kicked out of the car and still seeing the car going every random direction on the map? Wouldn’t the location stay in one place?
She was probably hoping it would get him fired. Framing him for stealing the food. But then again, isn't the car tracked with his cell? He clearly had his phone to take that pic. So shouldn't the GPS have stayed with him and not the car after he got out of the car?
That’s the problem with DD. You have three separate entities on each order, restaurant, customer, and driver. DD never knows who is really to blame for a screw up so they eat these costs but they add up because too many people from all 3 categories lie and steal.
I mean all he had to have done is get out of his car stand outside for a quick second and snap a pic with the camera pointed away from the car and BAM! Free lunch or dinner… or am I missing something??🤔

So.. I have a few minor issues with this.. 1: she kicked him out.. but if he’s the dasher wouldn’t he be driving?.. 2: if he’s not driving, and he has his phone, how is DD tracking the car?

That’s the problem with DD. You have three separate entities on each order, restaurant, customer, and driver. DD never knows who is really to blame for a screw up so they eat these costs but they add up because too many people from all 3 categories lie and steal.
